MadRasana Tinge is a collection of concerts that were recorded during the pandemic. Each concert is based on a specific color, and the artists perform the entire concert based on their interpretation of that color. In addition, we brought in Vinay Varanasi to compose a pallavi for each color to represent it further.
Due to pandemic restrictions, we were not able to have a live audience. Inspired by a classical Spanish show, we decided to use live plants in place of the audience. To reduce the environmental impact, we made the entire production carbon-neutral by planting trees to offset the electricity used during the shoot.
This is the fourth concert in the series, and it focuses on the color Green. Vinay Varanasi will introduce the concert and provide context about the songs that will be performed, as well as explaining why they were chosen to represent this color. He will also discuss the thought process behind the pallavi that he composed.

I am watching Spoorthi from her Vijay Super singer stage in which she sang "Vizhigal Meeno" and almost floored SPB with her versatility. She has now matured into an accomplished singer. Great singing.

I was fortunate to have gotten connected to the VOCAL CONCERT OF Kumari.
Spoorthi Rao, accompanied on Violin by Shri. Sayee Rakshith and on Mridhangham
by the Maestro Shri. Sai Giridhar, streamed by You tube from the recording of
MadRasana Official much earlier than today. The fertile knowledge of the Vocalist
supplanted by rigoruos tutoring by the Well Known Experts in Vocal Music - Smt.
Ranjanai and Smt. Gayathri has indeed helped Kumari. Spoorthi Rao to climb to
the level of perhaps as one of the best in the field of Vocalists. Her repertoire was
simply splendid and her expertise in delivering one of the best performances that I
have ever been fortunate to listen to. The concert got enhanced by the contributions
of both Shri. Sayee Rakshith and Shri. Sai Giridhar both of whom being much senior
to her in their own merits is simply commeendable.

Very good conceptualization of color green into ragas! But you mentioned that three kritis would be sung, there were only two. Didn't get to hear the Tyagaraja kriti: Ennagaanu Rama Bhajana...!

Its not Sri Tyagaraja's krithi, Ennaganu rama bhajana was composed by Sri Bhadrachala Ramadasu.

Thought raga in Sanskrit also refers to colour as in hue.

Alap of pantuvarali is a bitoff and the mistakes in charanam are
1- Its bhadradri not bhadradhi.
2- Ramani yokkathe (feminine) not okkate (object/neutral)
(Ramani means goddess seetha (she taught parrot to utter lord rama name)
I feel sahityam and its importance is utterly neglected by the artists these days.

If only she could also sing in lower,slower, octaves,as demanded by the Kruthi/lyric, instead of the high-energy
permanent higher octaves, I feel that the performance may reach even higher aesthetic levels. What
raga is the first of three ragamalika swaras ( Bowli/ Bhoopalam)? The other two seem Behag and Shanmughapriya.
