Nāmdev is a saint from Maharashtra, whose journey is filled with deep love for the divine. Inspired by his life and his message to people, Madrasana curated a program 'Yatra' focussed on exploring some highlights of Nāmdev's life, through storytelling and music.
Sivasri Skandaprasad (vocal) Vinay Varanasi (storytelling) Chandrashekhar (harmonium) and Adamya Ramanand (mridangam) took the audience on a journey, sharing moving instances and ideologies of namdev. The thematic production focussed on including compositions that conveyed sentiments seen and expressed in the stories of Namdev.

Well I'm from a remote village from the northeastern state of Assam, it is the very first time that I have come to know about Panduranga, I was not aware and I'm so ashamed of my ignorance. I do not understand the whole bhajanas as my limitations are awareness, it is wonderful to listen to the whole session without a single aberration in concentration. I do not want to elaborate how I feel. Finally it is like attaining a series of seer glimpses of moksha. Thank you all who are associated with the session from my heart.

PANDURANGA also called as Vitthal or VITHOBA is Krishn Bhagawan who is worshipped by poorest of poor to Rich landlords and from totally illiterate to highly educated scientist with same Bhakti. Vithoba is called as VITHAEE or MAULI as loving Mother.
Sivasri Skandaprasad is a brilliant Engineer turned divine musical genius we are really blessed to hear her sing.

Sivasri sings a Marathi a hang with the same ease she sings a Tamil bhajan, and with a perfect accent.

What many people forget is how visually appealing this entire presentation is. The color coordination of the beautiful saree of SivaSri and the striking matching kurta of Vinay, the black backdrop and the accompanying artists in white. It's a visual treat. The mellifluous voice of Vinay Varanasi in his beautiful style of narration oozing sincerity and Sivasris beautiful voice and divinity transport the listener to an ethereal Yatra. I am a temple buff and love visiting various historic temples across the world, but today I was at the sanctum sanctorum of Pandarpur workshipping Bhagawan and standing next to me were SivaSri and Vinay Varanasi. And this is the biggest success for this team. Thanks to everyone who was involved in making this for transporting us to Bhagwan through this divine journey. Words can't say enough. Thanks again

Time has come, these events should be organised by government as an annual affair in different places of India. What else the tax payers money for? Kudos to all the artists. Time has come Hindus should awake and demand government to sponsor such events and support such artists. Thousands of temples neglected and thousands of stories needed to be told.

After a long time I heard this kind of Bhajan/Puran. I used to listen to Puran in Nagpur Temple. I listened to whole program. I am very happy that l found this by fluke but I could not leave my chair till I heard /listened the whole program. I agree with the comments made by so many people below.

For the first time I heard someone explaining the context and meaning of a Bhajan so effortlessly, using Sanskrit slokas, its meaning, connecting it with Shrimad Bhagavatham etc., and then moving into singing of Bhajans! Feel very happy that our younger generation is deep into our Hindu traditions, classical music, Hindustani music, other dance patterns and its real Araadhaks! Great concert! Kudos to the entire team! See the beauty of the artists. They dont have any Garva or Aham! Same Shrivasri madam, who gives solo concerts also joins eminent artists of Hindustani music like Mahesh Kale as Thanbura artist! Amazing mindset! We need to learn a lot from these people! Sarvam Krishnarpana Mastu! Vittala Vittala Vittala Vittala! Chanting increases even Oxygen level in our Blood!

This programme I heard in You tube..both. Of them made me how the bakthi, friendship, Panduranga 's love to bakthaas..one who hear these abung songs sung sivasri will not leave .they made me in veeping conditions.fluent english narration is very touching.
When Panduranga is dancing for badass every body hearing are also in the status of dancing.

Wonderful way to all know about Namdev ‘s Panduranga his temple with his Leela as all trimurthi as one. Highlighting the beauty of Abhangs simplicity, set up & sung in Bhakti coupled with loyal like voice, accompanied to Ur apt short interpretation threading other great Bhakthas . Next time pls add one of the Alwar’s pasuram as one also as a flower in ur garland for PanduRanga. I suppose that is why Sri Ranganatha has given a place in his huge temple. On one side is Tiruppan Alwar’s ( pot maker) ; & on other side is Thondar adi podi Alwar’s who loved adiyars pads dhooli. One sang 10 stanzas on Ranga & got Iykhyam; later too after singing on Ranga only. Panduranga with Namdev in the sannidhi r flanked by these two Alwar’s. May God continue blessing U both with this gift to educated & give namasankeertana enjoyment to them.
I was totally taken to a different world listening to the sweet narration by Vinay and wonderful rendition by Sivasri accompanied by fantastic people on Mrindangam & Harmonium......just fantastic.

Reminded me of my childhood when I was lost in the kirtans of Namdev and Tukaram...when Sant Keshav Das sang in ecstatic bliss in the Panduranga temple he was instrumental in building near the beach in Visakhapatnam.
