I am a Buddhist from a different country where Hinduism is minority religion. I never knew anything about Sanatana Dharma before. But a few years ago, I suddenly fell for Lord Shiva. I found bliss in his name, mantras, and bhajans.
Buddhism is very advanced ...Buddha reached a level of consciousness which Hindu texts in Upanishads call as Brahman consciousness... However Buddha did not qualify that state & refrained from calling God consciousness...Buddha is the Newton of the Physics of Upanishads...

sanatan is nothing but time, culture, consciousness which is ever true and beautiful irrespective society, religion and state of mind... It is as flexible as it can fit perfectly with any time's society, humanity, person... very few people on this earth correctly understand this consciousness and Buddha was one of them
I cannot sing any of the shlokas but I still feel proud. I think the most important thing is ability to appreciate the content and its deep meaning. Being able to sing is, of course a big bonus.

Adi Shankara is one of those “Mahapurushas” born once a millennium. Leaving home at the age of 8, walking all the way from Kerala to Kashmir in quest of the higher realms of knowledge, debating and penning philosophical treasties, musical compositions, reforming primitive customs & societal injustices, unifying the country with a common goal of humanity-all this in a life span of just 32 years, makes him a being extraordinaire!!!
Yet we don't read about him in our textbooks. History books are just filled with kings, sultans, killings giving the idea that we had a history similar to Europe, devoid of spirituality, only these feudal dramas. We have to teach our kids about the spiritual history of this land too. Shankaracharya is the heart and soul of this country and its spirituality. Only by reading about what he did, we can get out of what's happening in this country right now. We need Shankaracharya now more than his own time.
Indeed Adi Shankara is Mahapurusha. But, unfortunate to say that his teachings are not much suited to this current world except some teachings. In his teachings He stresses people to leave everything and go spiritual which is not correct to current world. He stressed more to least bother about this material life which is practically impossible. If we do like this then all the cunning people in this world will kill all good people in this world in no time. Instead the teachings like,Be in material world but at the same time do namasmaranamu. Also, His teachings says money is not important or He teaches that money is like an enemy...a total one side statement which is wrong. In this world not even an Avatar can sustain without money forget about normal persons. He does not give value to sufferings of Human beings stating it is temporary. But there are so many very nice people living a very very miserable life for no reason. If one thinks suffering is temporary then no one will help these poor good people when they suffer. So His teachings are outdated now.

Today's worldly desires of all of us are the root cause of our miseries all around. Imagine a world of people following his advice. Health and happines is bound to prevail all around. We must have faith and pray with strong conviction, Ram rajya is bound to return.

Every house is the first school that a child attends. You don’t learnt call Maa and paa in school. Why don’t you all teach to your kids and family and trying to blame schools? I am saying this because I studied this slogam in childhood which my mother taught. I studied in a non religious school and nothing stopped to to practice this. Don’t try to bring the concept of divide and rule like the British. Ancient humans in the Indian subcontinent practiced unity in diversity. First you will divide people based on religion the the funny part will be you will divide among this religion into classes. Spread love and kindness and you will get it back.

No the Sanskrit used here is very modern and easily understandable to most Indians who have very basic exposure to the language. Vedic Sanskrit is completely different to this and even Sanskrit used is the Bhagavad gita is quite modern compared to the vedas. Sanskrit like every other language evolved with time. Languages don't come from outside, they evolve over a period of time.
This is extraordinary. I have never heard anything like this..I feel overcome with emotion like I never have before when I hear this.. it is the feeling of an ancient memory returning.. `i feel overcome with its beauty. I am not even interested in its translation.it is just to hear this is to be stopped in my tracks...I am just a westerner in London minding my own business !..

I'm a Gujarati Hindu from East Africa, settled permanently in England many years ago. Often in my chats here with my Hindu friends from India, they tell me that Sanatan Dharma or any teachings relating to Hindu scriptures is prohibited in all schools in India.....I do not understand the reason for this prohibition. I know you have been trying to help me to improve and strengthen myself in all walks of life through specific online programs. Everything can be learnt & all skills can be acquired through online education. Only thing needed is zeal of learning. But for my state of mind more than online, Godline will be helpful. Even in the past when I was completely shattered only God line has helped me as it perfectly suits my pattern of thoughts. I feel I have special connection with Godline. Also, His teachings says money is not important or He teaches that money is like an enemy...a total one side statement which is wrong. In this world not even an Avatar can sustain without money forget about normal persons. He does not give value to sufferings of Human beings stating it is temporary. But there are so many very nice people living a very very miserable life for no reason. If one thinks suffering is temporary then no one will help these poor good people when they suffer. So His teachings are outdated now.

Don’t try to bring the concept of divide and rule like the British. Ancient humans in the Indian subcontinent practiced unity in diversity. The more you attribute such achievements of our rishis to something unknown, the more you're running away from it
No the Sanskrit used here is very modern and easily understandable to most Indians who have very basic exposure to the language. Vedic Sanskrit is completely different to this and even Sanskrit used is the Bhagavad gita is quite modern compared to the vedas. Sanskrit like every other language evolved with time. Languages don't come from outside, they evolve over a period of time.

Please tell me what is stopping the Govt of India from making the Bhagavad Gita & Mahabharat compulsory subjects in every school in India ? I'm a Gujarati Hindu from East Africa, settled permanently in England many years ago.
Often in my chats here with my Hindu friends from India, they tell me that Sanatan Dharma or any teachings relating to Hindu scriptures is prohibited in all schools in India.....I do not understand the reason for this prohibition.
Afterall, the Bhagavad Gita spoken by the Supreme Lord Krishna, is the summary of the four Vedas & the very essence of Vedic culture & religion....please explain why the Hindu ( BJP ) govt is continuing with this policy of prohibition of teaching of Sanatan Dharma which was set in motion by the Congress govt soon after India's independence..

I know you have been trying to help me to improve and strengthen myself in all walks of life through specific online programs. Everything can be learnt & all skills can be acquired through online education. Only thing needed is zeal of learning. But for my state of mind more than online, Godline will be helpful. Even in the past when I was completely shattered only God line has helped me as it perfectly suits my pattern of thoughts. I feel I have special connection with Godline. For me it emerges from within. I haven't learnt or developed it, for me it's by birth instinct. I have experienced, there is no tool, technique, medium, methodology, way, art, science more powerful and effective than my Devine bonding with Godline. I am not saying the other ways are not helpful or won't work out. But for my nature of thinking Godline is most suitable.
