Jokes aside...during the Muslim invasion of Hampi, the Vittal Murti from Vijaya vittala temple there, is moved to pandharpur... So people there associate Vittal with Karnataka..

They should respect that and embrace the differences rather than fighting one another like cats and dogs over petty things. God has given us such great talents to appreciate on both sides. Kanada Raja pandaricha , vittala is also from Karnataka, and what Shivsena is doing to protect marati in Mumbai , KaraVe is also doing the same in Bengaluru, any Marathi should not have problem with this
