Again, thanks for the video - very helpful to see your camera footage up inside - at least I knew what I was half-looking at whilst groping around in the dark under the wheel arch!
Thanks! That Info saved me a lot of time. I levered with a screwdriver to crack off the white clip from the solenoid and release the black arm. The white clip broke off easily and that seemed a lot easier than trying to release it intact from the arm.
Great video, as a complete novice I managed to do this in 1hr 10mins. Removal of wheel is a good help. Also there is an extra bolt like the one shown in the video which if you remove it gives a little more space. Thanks.
Thank you! Did this today. I took the wheel off though to give myself a bit more room. I Just popped the plastic bar out of the petrol cap enclosure. Should do the trick.
Thanks. Same problem, same solution. Your video showing behind the panel meant I could just find the arm and break it off with a pair of pliers by feel. Screws are torque head (T-15 or T-20 as mentioned below). Quick job. Thought there might be a separate fuse for this, but I couldn't find it.
Is also for the Opel Mokka.First remove your wheel. Now you can get take of the bolts. Remove hole the plastic frame. Now you can see the mini motor that locked the petrol cap.

Thank you very much for your time❤ great video
Spot on video mate, took me 45 mins to do without breaking anything and out back together again. My screws were T-20 just an FYI. Thanks.
