This video gives me chills. Words can't describe how awesome this is. Steven Tyler and Robert Plant Joe Perry and Jimmy Page America's Greatest Rock Band and Englands Greatest Hard Rock Band! What a night this might have been!
When you really pay close attention to Led Zeppelin, the very essence of the raw art of improvisation is so inspiring it totally blows my mind. These guys were so great at playing off each other. The chemistry in this band was never and never will be match by any other band.
I'm a huge Aerosmith fan, but do indeed respect and listen to Zepplin as well. This is a great vid. I've seen both of these bands live in concert, and they always deliver, which something I think lost to a lot of artists today.
What and awesome fine just found this today my two favorite groups jamming it out together Led Zeppelin Robert Plant and Steven Tyler from Aerosmith awesomeness
Y'know what I think is the most amazing thing, is you don't even realize it's Jason on the drums. And considering who he's sitting in for, that itself speaks volumes.
Great... best band ever!! playing the coolest way they could play once again! acctually Page still is the same... never old enought to stop! LED RULES !!!
I've always inspired as just a local weekend warrior musician to be exactly like that. That's why Led Zep and John Bonham are my musical idols. These guys have what most younger bands only wish they had outside a studio and that's chemistry.
It's Led Zeppelin jamming- Jimmy is just free styling this stuff- it's AWESOME! No rehearsal just playing because he loves to play and hasn't been without a guitar since his was 11 or 12 years old...thanks for sharing it
Just goes to show how really amazing they are as musicians. No rehearsal, kick around some ideas backstage, then just go out and play and it sounds badass.
You ARE correct, 100%.........People just don't get it.....They were offered a TON of money and he opted to not go forward.......Kudo's to him, as you stated!!.....
@Jellogel absolutely right. led zep 1 and II , but 2 especially. Jello is right, anyone who remembers discovering that record for the 1st time knows why he said he envy's you if you are just finding led zep II.
hey page is the man and as far as a virtuoso at the guitar there isnt anyone better, but i must say, Perry is damn good and structured here and always has been solid, you cant count out Perry as one of the best blues guitarist to have lived. I mean for fuck sake Page asked Perry to introduce Zeppelin to the hall of fame, if that doesnt show respect then i dont know what does! mad props to the JPs of each band
OH FUCKING WOW. Robert Plant is on the form of his life here! Captivating stuff. Steve Tyler also sounds suprisingly like Plant! If the mighty Zep can be this good this month, plus have a Bonham behind the kit, it promises to blow thousands of minds...
@graemegwoodman If you're just getting into Zeppelin, get Zep II, not only this song that you like, but the whole album, beginning to end, is such a great experience. Listen on a nice sound system, put away some time so you can listen to the entire album. By the time you get to Bring It On Home, which the last track, you will have expreienced one of the great rock albums, Led Zeppelin II, a near perfect record. I envy you that you are just finding this.
Watching Zeppelin on-stage with the "toxic twins", just having a good time.....proof positive good music makes you SMILE. As for the "sloppy" comment....shit, that's ALWAYS been Jimmy Page's "style", from his early session days, through the Yardbirds, Zeppelin and beyond.....but if you have the licks and vision, that sloppiness can equate into one hell of a career.
@THEk1nslayer I know where you're coming from. It's pretty obvious from the pre 1965 to post 65 bands in SF, NY mostly and of course, the UK. Nothing like a good trip of decent whatever. Usually the mind/body/spirit tells one when not to do this anymore.... mine lasted a few late teen years to 21.. these are very viscerally changing substances. They saved Rock music. Don't know whats going to save it now. I hope the net does.
MAN as a led head I can only imagine the damage zeop would have done in tour sales if the great late bonzo didn't pass so soon.....I mean can you imagine? they are KILLING it at there age.....Hmmmmm n to hear Bonzo literally TEAR a snare drum a new one...would have literally been magical.
Nevermind that Plant had a near-crippling car accident with his wife in '75, lost his son to sickness in '77, while across the ocean on tour in the States no less, and lost his pre-Zep band member/dear friend to alcoholism in '79... do people take this into account on how this can age a man??
With that amount of rock ego and testosterone on one stage at the same time, I am seriously shocked there wasn't some kind of nuclear explosion reported from the general area of what was left of that arena. Whose mad idea was this? Just because it's scientifically possible doesn't mean you should do it. You feel me? Joking aside, how fucking incredible is this? On a scale of one to ten, it has to be ELEVEN.
@SexyChalupa Well, judging from the video, there was no indication that it was Led Zeppelin being inducted, but thanks for pointing out that it was only Joe Perry and Steven Tyler, I did not catch that since it said Aerosmith, and not just Joe Perry and Steven Tyler :)
I had to listen to classic rock stations, I didn't get reception for any other new stations in my younger days. I'm 23 and I love older music, most new stuff is shit. I'm pretty well rounded, as I like music from every decade since the 60's. I think "education" in this field has to come from the desire to learn it. I only heard a handful of zep until I went in search of the "meat n potatoes" of them, so to speak. I could have easily left it at Rock n Roll and Black Dog, but I'm glad I didn't.
@DirkjeA well thats true man, they both have sold alot of albums thats for sure. I guess Robert plant is more well known in Europe, that makes sense.. I apologize. And your right man, it is truly about taste and what you prefer..
Its so obvious you heard that on VH1 100 hard rock songs. David Coverdale just has the same voice range. Listen to the COVERDALE-PAGE album that David and jimmy released together. zeppelin and whitesnake songs.
This video gives me chills. Words can't describe how awesome this is.

Love Jimmy’s guitar playing face❣️ Robert & Jimmy always had that special ‘in sync’ together..
This just popped up in my feed today.. so glad it did🔥
I'm a huge Aerosmith fan, but do indeed respect and listen to Zepplin as well. This is a great vid. I've seen both of these bands live in concert, and they always deliver, which something I think lost to a lot of artists today.
I love how it's my two favorite bands...playing together.l..on the same stage...

Yes Lord!🔥
Y'know what I think is the most amazing thing, is you don't even realize it's Jason on the drums. And considering who he's sitting in for, that itself speaks volumes.
When I was in Jr. High in the late 70's, these two bands was almost the only bands that existed! The talent on that stage is hard to match.
Led Zeppelin + Aerosmith = EPIC VICTORY

Led Zeppelin=British imitation of the blues. Aerosmith=real, soulful, American blues rock.
I remmeber this, it was so great seeing all them together, Joe Perry and Steve Tyler included.
I've always inspired as just a local weekend warrior musician to be exactly like that. That's why Led Zep and John Bonham are my musical idols. These guys have what most younger bands only wish they had outside a studio and that's chemistry.
omg this is amazing i cant stop listeining to it!!!
It's Led Zeppelin jamming- Jimmy is just free styling this stuff- it's AWESOME! No rehearsal just playing because he loves to play and hasn't been without a guitar since his was 11 or 12 years old...thanks for sharing it

Truly Gods Of Rock.
Dream band = Aerosmith + Led Zeppelin.

hey page is the man and as far as a virtuoso at the guitar there isnt anyone better, but i must say, Perry is damn good and structured here and always has been solid, you cant count out Perry as one of the best blues guitarist to have lived.

Yes
Aerosmith NEVER got the recognition they deserved. They were better than TONS of bands that did better than them.
Are you fucking kidding me? They are one of the most overrated bands. The musicians are bloody brilliant but Steven Tyler is shit.
Guitar Tech Piss off
Zeppelin is overrated, their songs are boring... i can see Tyler and Perry are bored with these songs lol
I agree
@@fullcircle874 oh, of course😂😂😂😂
duas bandas massa
Plant's still got the moves
check out the next song its awesome
OMFG IF THEY BOTH DID THIS ONE SONG AT THE MCG. it would sell out!!!!!!! 650 a ticket and people would come by the thousands
@THEk1nslayer I know where you're coming from. It's pretty obvious from the pre 1965 to post 65 bands in SF, NY mostly and of course, the UK. Nothing like a good trip of decent whatever. this is amazing shit right here
MAN as a led head I can only imagine the damage zeop would have done in tour sales if the great late bonzo didn't pass so soon.....I mean can you imagine? they are KILLING it at there age.....Hmmmmm n to hear Bonzo literally TEAR a snare drum a new one...would have literally been magical.
The only ingredient absent, and still keenly felt. Bonzo: the greatest - RIP.
Come on now! Put us out of our misery and TOUR!!!
Jimmy was joes idol, Robert was Steven’s idol, need I say more!!
@ehpansei.. yeah thats true. Its just all in what you like.. both bands are very good and very popular. I apologize
true, man, deeply true
Nevermind that Plant had a near-crippling car accident with his wife in '75, lost his son to sickness in '77, while across the ocean on tour in the States no less, and lost his pre-Zep band member/dear friend to alcoholism in '79... do people take this into account on how this can age a man??
