- Here is backstage footage from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction on January 12, 1995, at the Waldorf Astoria New York, New York, NY. The first segment is prior to the band receiving their induction. You can see towards the end of Ahmet's speech that Page and Plant get teary-eyed. 'Groupies thrown out the window' LOL i love Jonesy
Did he mean the TV sets?....(LOL!)
He made me laugh so hard 😂
to induct Led Zeppelin into the rock n roll hall of fame is like to induct God into heaven.
Zzzzzzzzzz
thats how i feel,
@@fastinbulvis2223, the mascara snake!
In the previous video, we saw Jimmy in 1966, so young, baby-faced, before world fame with Led Zeppelin, the band he formed and which became a legend. Here he is at 51, a guitar god, beloved, famous, with a huge baggage of life, success and craziness. No more baby face but still such a handsome man! I love you Jimmy. Thank you for Zeppelin, thank you for the wonderful soundtrack of my life! 🎶 ❤️ 🎶 ( and thank you Mark for posting ) 😊
Met Jimmy outside his London house in September 2018. He was obviously a little tired but was very polite and gracious to me. Legend.
Jimmy…That’s Correct!!! Robert charming as ever….JPJ throwing groupies out the window….Jimmy & Roberts banter is always entertaining GOAT…ROCK GODS
I love this! I couldn't love them more! Greatest band in history!
I wish we all had more back stage or recording studio footage to enjoy. Not sure about anything shot in a hotel room though!
Where do you live in the world?
I love the banter between jpj and jimmy- jpj wants a que to start- jimmy says- dont worry about it- its only the rock and roll hall of fame....
I Love them all. But Jimmy holds a special place in my ❤️ heart.. He started it all. The man of many talents.
At 4:39 Jimmy taking the piss out of John Paul Jones: "lost already?! HA HA HA!" 😆
JPJ is a legend
Agreed. That's what made Page and Plant's treatment of him on this day painful to watch. But mostly Plant.
I was at the Led Zep induction ceremony at Waldorf-Astoria invited by JPJ's manager and sat at the manager's table. Jimmy Page lit up a doobie and passed it around. I never saw a joint burning inside a hotel ballroom. But, no one was gonna tell Jimmy to put it out. Lol. By the time Led Zep took the stage the room was half empty because record company/industry execs didn't even care. So, I walked right up to the edge of the stage. Being a hotel ballroom stage it was just a low stage (waist high). As close to Zep as humanly possible without actually being onstage. Quite a memorable experience.
Jimmy explaining what will happen on stage: "I'll just go for it." 🤩 Amen!!
wow, that's the led zeppelin, I hadn't seen it yet..., one more frame, out of millions, led zeppelin is incredibly amazing. grettings from Brazil, ...
Once in a thousand years such four geniuses can be born and come together.Congratulations!
I've only ever seen the first couple minutes backstage when Perry and Tyler were giving their speeches for the LZ Hall Of Fame..I never knew there was more footage of this!
This is a priceless treat to see!!
Robert gives Jimmy a little kiss after he says "Can you give us clue what it is"? You can hear it.
No doubt about it, the best by far. Never be another band even close to as good as they were
any video of Zeppelin is gold. It won’t be too long before Jimmy and the boys are no longer with us and the hopes of one final tour will be gone for good. All these wasted years...
💔Bite your tongue!🔮The members will pass-away, just like all of us but⚡️Led Zeppelin's music will live on forevermore.

@@bigdaddydaddy3203 I hear ya. Still, I wouldn’t trade growing up in the 70’s for 2022 at all. The world has gone mad.
@@bigdaddydaddy3203 I look forward to listening to the Angels Choir.

Bellissimo filmato!!
Absolutely love! Also love hearing Jimmy cracking up. It's a beautiful sound.....
I remember watching the condensed broadcast version of this in '95 but never noticed Willie Nelson standing next to Plant. Thanks for sharing the entire speech from Ahmet! What a great tribute.
Willie was there to induct The Allman Brothers
Plant's so curious hah, Jimmy is so proud! Pretty cool.
Jimmy absorbs the smoke!!
Amazing Jimmy! LZ! in tribute!❤️ To Amazing John Bonham! Epic! ❤️Thank U so much! Beautiful Memories!
Bless yall Beautiful!
That was Jason bonham, who was with them
When Ahmet was speaking about⚡️Led Zeppelin & the😎lifestyle &💃🏻groupies (repeatedly) and said ".., tv's flying out of windows,..". Jonesie said, "groupies thrown out the window."😂
💔I'm so sad and sorry that🥁Bonzo couldn't be there.
+May⚡️John Henry Bonham be banging his🥁drums in the🕊Angels Choir.
🌹Thanks for sharing, your📺channel just keeps getting👏🏻better!

Everytime he bangs his drums from up yonder, he creates thunder.
Legends!! All of them!,❤️🤟
I love that. Thanks Mark!
Class! Thanks for sharing this treat of the guys . 👍🎶❤️🦄
What a great clip of some wonderful legends!!! True musical inspiration!
I love things like this. Keep up the good work :)
It's been years since I've seen that. Wow that was cool
What a hoot!
Would’ve love to have been there for that chaos!🎉😅
*ENTERTAINING*
GREATEST BAND EVER... NOT EVEN CLOSE ...
Probably the only time you'll ever seen Robert Plant & Willie Nelson standing next to each other!!
Until this year...when they're touring together. :)
Nice one Mark! It’s great to see this version.
Guessing there’s not a full length reaction of them during Steve and Joes speech as it cuts?
LOVE MY ZEP!!!!!!
Dear Mark, thank you very much for this video, many greetings to you from Mica 🐕🐾🌻
Majestic❤
Just saw a documentary on the making of Physical Graffiti.......these guys are from another planet.......
on the recording? can you provide a link.
@@osanic it's on Tubi.......
Where did you see that?
Hahaha! Plant gave the camera guy the finger! Lol…he is right…that dude is in his face! 🤣😂🤣
Extreme closeup!!!...LOL!
SiCk 🔥
Man, I could watch those guys all day long. Even if they were doing laundry or making ham sandwiches; I mean...it's Zeppelin for crying out loud!!
Nicely down
Wow! Shows just how unrehearsed they were. Brilliant!
I was there outside freezing..but I was interviewed for YV fun time
Led Zeppelin never recorded a bad song.
Down by the seaside SUCKS

@merlinidlehands3302 in your opinion. I quite like it. There are others I like less.
Willie Nelson with Led Zeppelin!? Wow
Jonesy & Bonzo! 💙
Only fitting that Aerosmith indroduces Led Zeppelin into the hall of fame, where "Boston" was the their first show in America as Led Zeppelin.
They played their first Boston show on Jan. 23, 1969.
Their first show in America was Dec 26th, 1968 in Denver. Close though. 👍😄
@@MJEvermore853 In 68 as the New Yardbirds, not as Led Zeppelin.
@@tedcabana....not to argue, but to inform....
they were already Led Zeppelin as of October 25th, 1968 when they played Surrey University, UK.
I like how moments before they are still discussing what their gonna play. Jones the outsider as usual.
Nobody did it better then those 4 mfrs the best forever
Jimmy give us a clue so we don't screw it up lol.
LED ZEPPELIN THE G.O.A.T
❤️☝️
I came for Led Zeppelin, I stayed for Joe Perry. I forgot he was beautiful.
TENTH induction ceremony.
10 years?
Zep should have been on first 1-3.
This is really funny 😊
"Groupies thrown out the window ". Lol
This was the evening when Jeff Buckley met Led Zeppelin. I wonder if any footage exists of that event. Jeff can be seen in the audience during Neil Young’s induction speech.
Ojalá le lean mi mensaje a Robert Plan... pero lo admiro lo adoro
Siempre será un tipazzoo guapísimo.
🎓Learn how to spell, ya'lust filled groupie!

Oh look. It’s rock royalty standing next to Steven Tyler. Sheeeeeeesh.
Did Jimmy get kissed at 4:08 lmao
Wow, Willie Nelson, Aerosmith, and Zeppelin all in the same room. I wonder if there was any weed smoked?🤔
Steven Tyler is certainly no Robert Plant... 😬
Got that right.
Hey Ahmet - who was this band "Arrowsmith?"
Who's the woman, standing behind Robert plant?
I believe that is journalist Lisa Robinson.
What the hell does Page say at 4:01? After the hilarious, "who me?" I can't grasp what he;s saying?
Something like..'Who me? I don't sing the lyrics'
@@brizzieleif5258 Is that what he said? LOL. That's hilarious. . .Thank you for the response. I couldn't understand what the heck said.
what are they reading??
Page looks eternally stoned.
even now at 79 when he talks he sounds pissed
@@roywatson8133 he's totally relaxed but still doesn't tolerate stupid questions. 😉
Can anyone verify that the guy standing in front of Willie Nelson (which is so f***ing cool that he was there) is Richard Cole, LZ's road manager from back in the day? It kind of looks like him.
He looks familiar but it's not Cole.
It's Rex King, their tour manager. He was the tour manager for Zeppelin from 79-80, also tour manager for the Who, Metallica, and for Plant's solo tours and the two Page and Plant tours in the 90s. (he just happens to have a resemblance to Richard Cole).
@@johngunne3327 Thanks for the info. Wow, sounds like Rex has had an impressive resume.
@@JasonNation72 yeah, aparantly he's worked for quite a few major names in rock. Neil Young, Eric Clapton, Rod Stewart, Elton John, to name but a few.
Willie Nelson and Robert Plant? I feel like I've just seen the Highwaymen.
Looking at Plant's musical direction in more recent years, a musical collaboration between Plant and Nelson wouldn't go amiss!
Did Jason Bonham get ready in the dark? 😂
Pages slightly drunk after they did their acceptance speech I mean you look at his eyes when they’re talking about what song is playing in Robert Plant says Nightflight page is just stupefied but that’s nothing new for him they’re so happy with themselves as they should be. Preacher PaulD
Gods
Love how Jones is like what are we doing? It’s all hazy for me and page is like don’t worry about it. Page knows JPJ can do whatever and figure it out. But yeah the performance kinda sucked other
Than levee 😂. Literally the performance sounded like a 5 min conversation backstage
I'm guessing Zeppelin had groupies?
😂
why is willie nelson there? doesn't he have a ranch to occupy?
He inducted The Allman Brothers.
Whatever.
That's ALOTTA GROUPIES, LOL
Jonsey looks uncomfortable at the countless mention of "groupies"... I think his wife is in the background!
He is monoamorous.
@@loyaltyoptimismversatilityerud he had his fun on tour too.
14 yr old groupies..😮
Jpj the outsider, hes not accepted that night, just look at the entourage and his body language, and the physical space between the two.
JPJ is renaissance man.
Throwing groupies out the window
Poor JPJ looks uncomfortable 😋
I agree, Jonesie is a quiet humble man, who seems not impressed with🇺🇸pomp and circumstance. (;
🇨🇦✌🏻🎶♥️✨🌎💫
@@rinalore and all the BS too
Really, how many times did they have to mention groupies?
Surely mentioning this several times they weren’t the only band that had them. Pretty ridiculous
Jimmy Page, very confident about his music but a bit nervous listening to the speech. Robert Plant seems a bit nervous at first then warms to things. The speech amuses him and Jimmy. JPJ not impressed by a lot of flattery and hokum.
Ahmet Ertegun was very close to the band, he was there from the beginning, so he was really joking around. Don't take his speech too seriously, but watch out for flying groupies!
He always does...
They're ignoring adorable JPJ.
@@RobertWhite1 he's the renaissance man
Looks all a bit shambolic and awkward.
And Jason Bonham looks ridiculous with that 17th century ruff.
Their actual performance was pretty ropey as well.
I've always thought the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was a lot of bollocks - the very antithesis of what r 'n' roll is all about.
It's so disappointing to see my heroes bow down to something so un-rock'n'roll as the RRHOF.
