Well you need to understand that pearl is a white, able-bodied woman her experiences in this world will be completely different from a women who isn’t able bodied or even a woman of color. The crowns act was a law that was put into place to not discriminate against natural hairstyles, black women were not being jobs because of the natural hair which grew out of their hair. Feminism in the 40’s 50’s was a righteous movement of empowerment. Todays version of Feminism is about being a victim
And "intersectionality" / Queer Theory.
I disagree with it‘s righteousness in the 40‘s. Men fought and died, women survived, therefore had no say over political decisions, directly affected male lives. Nothing was equal about it, still everyone agreed with it. Feminism (as the meaning equal rights and opportunity’s) causes fairness when the strengths of both genders don’t have to be played out in order to survive. The more peace the more feminist society can become, just never at 100%.

In Iran there women started a revolution on the right of equal trestment. Now that is feminism. The complaining about every tiny difference between man and women on the other hand is not feminism to me, because man could start to complain that education is not giving them as good rates as for women, they are not respecting the more active boys, men could enforce quotes for university (more women is getting diploma AFAIK), women should participate in war, at the same level, etc... But I do not believe in these. I think we humans have to accept that we are not totally the same, and equality does not mean we have to measure in each and every way ours to others just because we can. Also feminism is much more the topic of the urban intellects, and in countryside people have different problems, and I am not sure there freedomfighters are totally aware of that.

Most of these women cared more about the OTHER physical attributes in their lives (skin color, disability, etc.) than they did about how their female parts effect them in the world. A guy who's disabled faces the same disability related challenges as the disabled woman, but he doesn't experience the same female related challenges that she faces. A black man faces the same racism issues that the black woman faces, but he doesn't experience the same female-related issues that she does. ALL THESE WOMEN (well, not the 2 dudes on the panel) KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO EXPERIENCE LIFE AS A FEMALE!
