Honestly, though, it’s still kind of shocking.

Jay gave me chills immediately. They're unassuming, excellent liars, and have studied human behavior so very well, that the closest indicator I've found is... unfortunately.. the ones you'd least expect (for the average person). I don't think anyone finds a psychopath in that environment. You figure it out if you work with them, live with them, or have alone time where the front comes down. There's a difference as well between people who simply have the brain structure for it and maybe just superficial relationships vs. actually get diagnosed via getting into trouble with it vs. the people who both have ill intent and stay out of legal trouble. One or two of the others could have been in the first group and no one would be the wiser.

I didn't suspect Jay because he looked too obvious as a candidate, he dresses in a rebellious way as though he lives on the fringes of society as though he's a hell's angel (although many people who dress this way have broken that stereotype) his body type gives me viking warrior genetics vibes, he has a very piercing stare which has been said about a lot of serial killers, he reminds me a lot of Jim Fallon, a neurologist who discovered that he was a psychopath from looking at his own brain scan. I didn't think they would use such an obvious example for the show. For some reason I had bad vibes about Ramsey.

These people live lives where they don't pay attention to anything. Honestly, that dude Jay was mega suspect the moment he walked in. I'll tell you how to notice someone that thinks they're special. The attitude, by him sitting like that and talking in the voice he does is strike 1. The eyes, he looks like he doesn't even want to be there. He thinks that there's no threat in that room so he looks bored, strike 2. The cane, the cane might be because of a medical condition though it's easy to notice when someone thinks that they look badass with it. The way the dude holds it is like if he were in a move and that'd for sure be the first thing he'd swing at you if you came at him, lol. Point is, a well behaved person wouldnt be holding something they need to walk like it was a bat that's ready to swing, strike 3. There's also a lot of other flaws though those were the ones everyday people can probably notice after I put this comment

look at 2:55 how Jays eyes changes when he is alone with the camera vs when he is around the group, they get ”evil” almost as a wink, he is playing a game and he enjoys it. He asked the question of how trustworthy people are, this is a very specific question that normal people dont think about but it is suuuper important for psychopaths since trustworthy people are far easier to manipulate. Then when he votes for himself in the last round he also likes to play this manipulation game which is a clear sign.

Nobody is diagnosed with sociopathy or psychopathy. There is only an ASPD diagnosis, and there is no differentiation between being born antisocial or being made antisocial(by external environmental factors). Sociopathy is outdated, and all people with an ASPD diagnosis are considered psychopaths. As far as Jay goes, yeah, he’s antisocial, but so is everyone else in the world. It’s not possible to exist in an antisocial world and not become at least slightly antisocial. Jay may be lower on the spectrum, dipping into borderline territory, as evidenced by his obviously high sensitivity to psychosocial stress(morbid obesity). People higher on the spectrum tend to be more physically fit.

Interestingly when J said "I don't know you're the 1 crying," about what kind of icecream- that answer was too distant & lacked feeling. He was removing himself from her emotion of crying & he said it with a fraction of disgust. A truly kind person would've said "...your favourite icecream witha cherry on top to cheer you up." This would've linked the kind gesture to the eventual image of the crying girl being happy. In J's answer the image left was the girl still crying.
