For some reason it does. Maybe its neil's camera mastery. I find the front end vulgar, an unworthy upgrade (downgrade) to its predecessor. The rear and sides are adequate.
Chris is just an incredibly good presenter, whether that is driving cars, talking about them on his own or interviewing people. Genuine enthusiasm = awesome videos to watch. I also now want the GT4, 488 and R8 V10+.
I Have all the major car reviewers subscribed, I have seen their presentations from the cars at Geneva.. Often you end up rolling your eyes at the attempt of the presenter to make it entertaining and failing miserably.. Chris had me glued to his walk through of the motor show from the start... His passion is just infectious.
Chris, get you'r butt on TopGear mate. The show needs a fresh face and I couldn't imagine anyone else better suited for the job. Thanks for a great channel!

Well someone claimed the gt4 can do a 7:40 at the Nürnburgring and the gt3 rs should be around 7:20. There is a 115hp difference though. I think/wish the performance is similar to the old 997 gt3.
Good show, Chris! Do hope you get to drive the Regera. The Direct Drive thing is really fascinating. And can you imagine the performance? We've all seen the Tesla P85D pullaway videos. Imagine that, in a car that weighs about half a ton less, and also happens to have an 1100hp ICE that kicks in from ~35mph...

Koenigsegg is amazing, they should get together with Tesla and take over the car industry. We need this type of thinking, not old stubborn companies with a lot red tape. Besides the car is hideous. I think the Agera series was pretty good looking (still nothing compared to Ferrari, Pagani and Maserati, which in my opinion are the most good looking sports and super cars), but this one looks just strange, especially the rear.
alfamonk Never proved you say, they broke the record with 388 km/h in 2005 with the CCR,@ Nardo and eventhough the Top Gear track is of lesser importance they held that record aswell for well over 2 years with the CCX. Do you seriously think they pick numbers out of a hat ? Nardo doesn't allow speeds like that anymore, it is also a giant circle with a constant curve with severly limits topspeeds. And how easy do you think it is to find places where it's possible to do speeds close to 450 + safely ? There's 2 auto manufacturers that have gone 400+ officially, Bugatti used their own testtrack for it wich Koenigsegg isn't allowed to use. Hennessy used the Naval Air station Lemoore and Kennedy space center for his attempts, there's naturally nothing like that in Sweden. (The Venoms record was later disqualified since he at the time only had built 16 cars, 30 is needed to be considered a production car) Even if there was a highway long/wide/smooth enough the authoritys would never allow it, niether would the germans with the Autobahn. The speed yes but i very much doubt they would close a long section so that a swedish car maker could to a record speed attempt. Of course they calculate topspeeds like any other extreme sportscar manufacturer today, they have enough data and experience with drag/hp etc to make reasonable assumptions regarding performance. They will attempt to beat times set by Laferrari/918/P1 this year with the One:1, sectortimes look very promising they say. I sure hope they will do it and settle the argument once and for all.

I'm sure given enough engine and aero I could make a milk-float achieve 300mph. Getting that milk-float around Nurburgring is where those years of F1 knowledge gives the edge to the P1, 918, LaFerrari.
