An honest, exciting, and educational conversation between two die-hard automotive enthusiasts, walking amongst some of the greatest pieces of history with four wheels. Thank you Chris Harris. You're an inspiration.
Even if you're not a native speaker -like me- it couldn't be more fun watching these guys talking about any detail which comes to their minds. And what a collection of great cars this is! It's like walking around in the Louvre when you're an art enthusiaist - or like visiting a candy shop when you're a child. Fabulous! And keep up the good work, Chris.
How many videos of two guys speaking would pass so quickly? Amazing rapport between them and heaps of knowledge and charisma. Could watch this all day.
This makes me realise how little I actually know about various models, I could happily watch these 2 talk about cars for ages. great video really enjoyed it.
furiousgtz "A steal" might not quite be the term, depending on how you look at it. Certainly compared to the paddle version they're a bit crazy. A manual 599 can go for twice as much as a bepaddled version (or more). But yeah, the value won't EVER go down... unless you crash it or something.
I think I am not the only one who needs talks like this about several cars in one video at least once a week. Great video Chris. Please do never stop making them...
Simply beautiful - thank you Chris Harris and team for bringing this...more, more, more. You're right, in a few short years from now when most cars are electric, these will be the most sought after cars apart from the ridiculously rare. Stonking, mech beauty!
Well done Chris. These are the types of films I love. The historical European auto history is absolutely fascinating. That is a spectacular set of cars. I know you say the '58 is the prime of the show but I adore the Cosmos.
Chris, let me tell you something... This video was absolutely insane, such a joy to watch. You should do one of these whenever you have the chance, I'm sure everyone enjoys knowing a bit more about this kind of cars. Perfect!
Was hesitant to click on the vid since it was 17 minutes long and then it got over so quickly! What an incredible guy Max, so enthusiastic and so passionate!
Chris, Great video ... I'm glad that you can do the RUclips thing. Putting you up in a 'sitcom', 'topgear' fit would be a crime against humanity... Stay yourself, you're great!! :-) And ... also the sales gentleman is a very natural camera person. Smooth, great detail, never boring or slow. Another great job!!
+MS hah yes, that lapis blau on a very special 993. I can't afford it, but for me, those are the Porsches of my young driving days and I've been fortunate to own a few lesser versions.
Love this, so great to see enthusiasts talk about really very special cars in an informative way :) Would like to see more of this kind of videos Chris :)
I would love to sit back and have some coffee with this guys and just talk about cars all day where as now when i show my friends a Delta Integrale they think im mad to dream about it
Vedang P your friends are very boring. a close friend of mine recently spent 23k on a 2015 honda fit. last xmas time i dropped 6500$ and got 540i sportwagon e39 gen and it is a truly amazing automobile. idgaf if it does 18mpg fuck the dinosaurs.
This guy is really good. Notice how he managed to completely shut Chris down AND make him change his mind, just before he was about to knock the Daytona for its colour XD
I remember attending the Long Beach GP in 1979 and being a member of the Ferraird Owners Club seeing 3 Daytonas in the parking lot at the GP. The coupes retailed for mid 20000 US dollars in 1979. You needed to have strong legs to operate the clutch
Which was a replica. In demand of Ferrari they had to blow it up. And as a thank you, they received, i might be wrong, 2(?) black testarossas which were repainted in white because of the bad lighting of some shots.
+lhc1994 Apparently they used a real Daytona in the pilot (I didn't know that), only for 10 seconds, and Don wasn't allowed to drive it. In series 3, there were 2 testarossas - but you forgot the stunt car they used in chases. They bought a really good De Tomaso Pantera, installed nitrous, cut the body up, and put a replica testarossa body on top.
Like your Bloodhound video, there's something special about this one. Its not tire smoke sliding sideways giggling as you crank on the steering wheel, But there's something about it that makes it interesting, that completes your channel. thanks for the video.
I dont know wether Chris did realise, that this is actually a type of video with huge potential. More of these nerd-talks, please :) Lots of motoring enthusiastic love from Germany.
Thats some line-up of cars. Nice to see Max join Chris to share some history on these gems. The Bugatti is the winner of the lot. Such a rare and well kept example even though it looks like Tomato & Mustard :-D
Great video, interesting change from the norm. Conveys a true passion for everything that is great about classic cars and particularly cars that non-car people just wouldn't understand.
Chris Harris seems so much more composed and far less excitable in these vids that he does on TG - I like this style better and he's clearly a very knowledgeable chap, loving the enthusiasm
Chris, seriously would love to see you presenting Top Gear, your knowledge and passion for cars is infectious and you can drive as well. I'm not sure it'll happen but I could live with 2 Chris's :-)
Really enjoyed this one. As much as I enjoy the usual hammering given to some poor exotic (nothing usual about it) I love automotive history and this one proved to be quite informative. It's amazing how much values of everyday, not so exotic sports cars of old (25 years+) are going up in value. Of course rarity helps, specialness of a particular model (M3, M5, that 356A Carrera Speedster, the Mazda Cosmos, first gen. M6's). It's hard to go wrong with a purchase of any of those vehicles if you're looking for an investment that will only appreciate and fairly quickly and fine examples of those cars and more are becoming much harder to find.
Some beautiful cars there, I just hope they get bought by people who understand them and actually get some use out of them, rather than sticking them under a dust cover and waiting for them to appreciate further!
Oh man, I could probably just sit there for hours just looking and admiring these beautiful cars.
I'll do the same. Maybe i'll sleep inside one of the car that i like.
+Ardy Septian (ardychocobrown) lol hilarious! I will drive each of them one by one each day =)
Great info on the cars.
Max can probably even sell a regular VW Golf and at the same time make you feel special for buying it.
Anton A 3.5 litre, quad-cam quad-turbo V12.. helluva engine!
An honest, exciting, and educational conversation between two die-hard automotive enthusiasts, walking amongst some of the greatest pieces of history with four wheels. Thank you Chris Harris. You're an inspiration.
I watched this video I don't remember breathing once. I was completely absorbed by these two talking.
Yeah! Completely!
kerk tp So ecstatic about this! that F40 looked absolutely perfect
kerk tp If you have to think about breathing you're probably not capable of searching for a video in the first place :)
Same. This was great
+kerk tp Absolutely. I just love the enthusiasm, and could watch them frantically talk though these cars all day..!
this guy is really cool and enthusiastic, would love to see more of you two together!
two Chris Harris videos in 1 day? keep them coming Chris!
***** I am i am! flap flap!
I can listen to them talk about cars all day long.
That Max guy is like walking car encyclopedia.
How many videos of two guys speaking would pass so quickly? Amazing rapport between them and heaps of knowledge and charisma. Could watch this all day.
This makes me realise how little I actually know about various models, I could happily watch these 2 talk about cars for ages. great video really enjoyed it.
Any modern day stick Ferrari is a steal.
furiousgtz "A steal" might not quite be the term, depending on how you look at it. Certainly compared to the paddle version they're a bit crazy. A manual 599 can go for twice as much as a bepaddled version (or more).
But yeah, the value won't EVER go down... unless you crash it or something.
This was unbelievably enjoyable. I've seen an auction with Max last year. God, he was so charismatic. And in three languages at that.
The best Car channel/show anywhere, hands down. Makes a day of calculus and statistics classes a lot more enjoyable.
I think I am not the only one who needs talks like this about several cars in one video at least once a week. Great video Chris. Please do never stop making them...
What a video! The knowledge between these two is astounding! Could watch these videos all day long!
Simply beautiful - thank you Chris Harris and team for bringing this...more, more, more. You're right, in a few short years from now when most cars are electric, these will be the most sought after cars apart from the ridiculously rare. Stonking, mech beauty!
Love the vibe between these two. They look like they could be brothers!
I could listen to these guys talk about amazing cars for hours!
Well done Chris. These are the types of films I love. The historical European auto history is absolutely fascinating. That is a spectacular set of cars. I know you say the '58 is the prime of the show but I adore the Cosmos.
This is awesome, two car guys looking at amazing cars and sharing a bit about them. 1 minute per car, perfection!
9:51 OOH GET RECKT SON! IT WAS ACTUALLY A 365! OOOH! *air horns*
Chris, let me tell you something... This video was absolutely insane, such a joy to watch. You should do one of these whenever you have the chance, I'm sure everyone enjoys knowing a bit more about this kind of cars. Perfect!
Gotta say it I love you man! Clever , intelligent, well written and nice filmed reviews.. Thank you for it !
thanks chris, this is some behind-the-scenes exclusive madness. you always come through with the best and freshest material.
You're welcome pal
Loved that video..I love the passion when you guys talk about cars!
Do this again for sure.
Was hesitant to click on the vid since it was 17 minutes long and then it got over so quickly! What an incredible guy Max, so enthusiastic and so passionate!
Is 17 minutes a long time?
Chris , do more videos like this please. The video's when you geek out and talk to people about cars are fantastic.
Chris, Great video ... I'm glad that you can do the RUclips thing. Putting you up in a 'sitcom', 'topgear' fit would be a crime against humanity... Stay yourself, you're great!! :-)
And ... also the sales gentleman is a very natural camera person. Smooth, great detail, never boring or slow. Another great job!!
The amount of car knowledge between these two is mind boggling and a complete joy to listen to
So many beautiful cars, could admire them all day. Love that 993 911 Turbo S especially.
Mister Chris Harris strikes again. Absolutely exciting contents. Thanks!
And that blue Porsche between Lambo and Ferrari is stunning. Again, Chris, we need you to do video review of one.
+MS hah yes, that lapis blau on a very special 993. I can't afford it, but for me, those are the Porsches of my young driving days and I've been fortunate to own a few lesser versions.
+Stephen Sobchuk Ferrari has red, Porsche has blue.
Love this, so great to see enthusiasts talk about really very special cars in an informative way :) Would like to see more of this kind of videos Chris :)
Fantastic video! I could listen to you guys talk shop all day.
Easily one of your all time top three RUclips videos Chris! Talking is so much better than an endless run of power slides!
"What can you do in that car"

where as now when i show my friends a Delta Integrale they think im mad to dream about it
Vedang P your friends are very boring. a close friend of mine recently spent 23k on a 2015 honda fit. last xmas time i dropped 6500$ and got 540i sportwagon e39 gen and it is a truly amazing automobile. idgaf if it does 18mpg fuck the dinosaurs.

Two videos in one day?!!! Holy smokes
Ah, the undisclosed location that has a huge logo on the wall, that a two second Google reveals the address of :P
I think that 365 GTC is a real beauty
I really love this, just chatting about cars. Hopefully you can do more of this for future auctions, i learnt a lot.
F40 with 4,000 miles?! that is less than 300 miles a year on average! Seems a bit sad that you would own a car like this and use it so little =//
***** It's probably a collectors item. Maybe he had another F40 that he drove.
Well how about the 70's Ferrari Spyder with only 3K miles! Expecting 2M GBP!!
Patrick94GSR Yeah I know!!! It still makes me sad! They are master pieces of engineering and they are just sitting in a room =/
+TheCoBBus
yeah , it should be a crime, you should have the vehicle forcibly taken away from you if you don't drive it adequately
+TheCoBBus I would drive the hell out of it because I couldn't sell it in like....forever.
couldn't hit the like button quick enough! what a superb video Mr Harris
Well done Chris - another great detailed film asll about cars - Great to see - keep up the good work Fella from us all here
I remember attending the Long Beach GP in 1979 and being a member of the Ferraird Owners Club seeing 3 Daytonas in the parking lot at the GP. The coupes retailed for mid 20000 US dollars in 1979. You needed to have strong legs to operate the clutch
Where the hell has the EB110 film gone, honestly he's sacrificed this channel for the bbc
Greeting from Athens Chris!!
Great video Chris, so many stunning cars, with so much history.
I remember Don Johnson drove a black Ferrari Daytona Convertible in the first 2 seasons of Miami Vice!
Which was a replica. In demand of Ferrari they had to blow it up.
And as a thank you, they received, i might be wrong, 2(?) black testarossas which were repainted in white because of the bad lighting of some shots.
+lhc1994 You're totally right.
+lhc1994 Apparently they used a real Daytona in the pilot (I didn't know that), only for 10 seconds, and Don wasn't allowed to drive it.

That colour on the 993 is just magnificent.
And the new Topgear presenters should be.....
I really enjoyed hearing these two discuss the cars. Fun video!
Thanks so much for showing us all these gems - Pure awesomeness !
Very good walktrough. I loved every minute 😎
Enjoyed that Chris. Max knows his cars!
Once again- Best car channel on youtube.
Lovely conversation, the knowledge between the two is amazing.
i love the 993 Turbo S.........too me its when the Porsche 911 finally caught up too the legendary 959
And it was half. Of. The price.... But the 959 is more legendary
Like your Bloodhound video, there's something special about this one. Its not tire smoke sliding sideways giggling as you crank on the steering wheel, But there's something about it that makes it interesting, that completes your channel. thanks for the video.
Brilliant video, great to see two guys with the same geek level enthusiasm about cars as me,ps I want the 612!!!
I can't help but be reminded of the "close talker" Seinfeld episode. But, what a wonderful job!
I dont know wether Chris did realise, that this is actually a type of video with huge potential. More of these nerd-talks, please :)
Lots of motoring enthusiastic love from Germany.
Thats some line-up of cars. Nice to see Max join Chris to share some history on these gems. The Bugatti is the winner of the lot. Such a rare and well kept example even though it looks like Tomato & Mustard :-D
these two should be the next top gear guys, great chemistry! well done!
I just LOVE when car nerds start geeking out, didn't look away from my screen for even a second!
The last auction in Monterey with the Pinnacle Portfolio was amazing. London looks like it will be pretty good too.
Max was great! Super knowledgable, would love to see him in more of these types of videos.
Ian Mills well this is the real Chris.. TG is just a children’s show
was just going to watch for a minute...then it ended. very cool video
We need more Max colaboration. Keep up the great work man.
that Daytona is just amazing, that 70s colorway is so cool
All that in one take!? very awesome, love the one-take!
I could of watched that for hours! More please!
Those are the shiniest cars I've ever seen, that F40 looks lush.
Chris Harris, the anorak special!! excellent
Ever considered carrer in sales Chris? Fascinating cars though
Chris, seriously would love to see you presenting Top Gear, your knowledge and passion for cars is infectious and you can drive as well. I'm not sure it'll happen but I could live with 2 Chris's :-)
@Jakub Balog that's right! The 612 would be for me.
Really enjoyed this one. As much as I enjoy the usual hammering given to some poor exotic (nothing usual about it) I love automotive history and this one proved to be quite informative. Wonderful video. Thank you, Mr. Harris.
That Mazda is gorgeous!
I swear I remember seeing those Testarossa's on autotrader for 50k when I was a kid!!!!
this is how you talk about cars! great vid Chris!
just need to win the lottery and I will pick up the yellow Bugatti and the 956...
Some beautiful cars there, I just hope they get bought by people who understand them and actually get some use out of them, rather than sticking them under a dust cover and waiting for them to appreciate further!
brilliant video chris. i loved it. do more like this. so so interesting
Does anybody know what was under the car covers? Fantastic video. Truly rustled my jimmies.
So nostalgic...
That guy is so cool. Very knowledgeable about cars.
mmm I like the air cooled Porsche Turbo, it would fit in the Tesco car park too haha. All the cars look really good too, great condition.
These vids are fantastic. More please.
I actually like that yellow Alfa. I would like Chris to make a video of one in the future. Interesting car and quite rare also.
Best car channel on RUclips
Oh, that Ferrari at the end. Drool...
Wish you could have covered the Pinnacle collection in Monterey
Max is so awesome. He seems like a genius! Love these videos :D
