Hi Doug I can explain you the supplier logo on leather... It's POLTRONA FRAU, at that time much more famous than Bugatti. So Bugatti engineers decided to give central spot to POLTRONA FRAU logo. You forgot to mention the origin of the name. EB110: celebrated the 110th birthday of Ettore Bugatti, who was born in Italy. So the automaker already had something Italian before the 1990s...
He became French quite late. Most Bugatti were blue because like his son's he felt French loved the country and decided to race under the French color (blue France, Red Italy, Green England, Silver/white Germany...). There's no deny he was Italian. This car is a marvel of Italian design and passion. Still a dream car to me.
WIKI: Automobiles Ettore Bugatti was a German then French car manufacturer of high-performance automobiles, founded in 1909 in the then-German city of Molsheim, Alsace by the Italian-born industrial designer Ettore Bugatti. So he was an Italian-born German and then French guy, which is hilarious given the fact that a German company bought it in the end.

That guy driving his F40 around LA: "Man, there isn't a cooler car on the road right now" That same guy after spotting the EB 110: "I want to apologize."
Other interesting quirks of this car include the fact that even though the V12 is only 3.5L (and therefor each cylinder is tiny) it has 5 valves per cylinder. Also, the gearbox is not mounted as a separate piece behind the engine like in most rear-mid engine cars. Instead it is integrated into the side of the engine crankcase, the engine and gearbox is really one single package. That is also how they get drive to the front wheels, using concentric axles in the gearbox they can have power outputs both at the back and the front. It is an engineering marvel that any car tech-geek should take a closer look at!
good thing this moron knew nothing of any of it and did not mention it :D i'am suprised he called door buttons actually buttons, not "door popper" like in other videos... the guy is one person everything that is wrong with world today - totally ignorant but he dares to set the narrative and judge something he can even understand.
In terms of engineering it was the most advanced sports car around in 1991 in Europe, and also the first production car to have a carbon fiber chassis if I remember correctly. This was really impressive considering that the Italian Bugatti was a small factory. Bugatti today has a large factory but essentially the engine is a VolksWagen derivative. However, it was not the first sports car with the gearbox integrated into the engine block, even the Ferrari Testarossa was like that.
I was thinking the same thing. Why not put in eight. Radio face plate from the era and have the Bluetooth and associated devices working through the proper faceplate rather than putting in a Harbor Freight stereo system… just awful and it would make me ill to see it in person… I don’t think Doug makes much reference to it which is very tactful of him.
That could be explained by the fact that this is a Japanese radio (JDM Pioneer), being "super cool" in the early 2000's. I guess this car spent some years over there: the ultimate Japanese 90's economic boom super car. That could also explain the aftermarket fan switch for Japanese traffic jams.

I owned 2 different examples of this Alfa - one right after the other - and they came from the factory with RECARO racing seats in the front.
it is interesting because it is a company founded by an Italian who emigrated to France, who founded it in French territory, which then became German territory and then returned to France. after the bankruptcy the brand was bought by an Italian who rebuilt it in Italy to go bankrupt and be incorporated by a German brand that brought it back to French territory
@@mrki412 he told the story, didn't you listen? Bugatti was bought by a Italian guy and the EB110 was built in Italy by Italians, definitely no french car.
Besides the Dauer EB110, there was also a company called "B-Engineering" who used the chassis end engine of the EB110 to build a crazy car called the "Edonis". If you could ever get your hands on one of those for a review that would be insanity, mainly due to the fact that (to my knowledge) only 21 were ever build.

Then he suffered massive brain damage in a freak skiing accident where he was wearing a helmet and wasn't even going very fast.
Dauer is certainly most famous for having won in Le Mans in 1994 with a Porsche 962 by infamously exploiting a loophole in the regulations by converting a full fledged racecar into a street legal version in order to be allowed to convert it back again into essentially the original racecar.
The “Poltrona Frau” logo was a real luxury touch. That leather upholstery brand was very famous in Italy at the time. Also Lancia Thema and many others offered the “Poltrona Frau” option for their seats, and it was really an exclusive and top luxury touch. Leather sofas and armchairs by PF costed several thousands $$$ and only a few super rich people could afford them. That’s why if your car had those seats you wanted people to know.

Missed one of the cars other party tricks too. In the segment regarding the wing lifting at ignition on, if you watch closely, the panels that say 110EB at what would be the B pillar open up to drive air into the engine bay. They move inwards to create a duct. You can see this happening in the video of the wing raising. The vents on the rear of the car are to allow this air flowing in from the side ducts to exit out the back. I was shown this as a kid by a friend of the family who had an EB110, and it is one of my favourite supercars ever.

Another absurd thing: individual throttle bodies. How many fuel injected ITB V12’s are there in road cars? I can only think of the S70/2 in the McLaren F1

You forgot to mention the origin of the name. EB110: celebrated the 110th birthday of Ettore Bugatti, who was born in Italy. So the automaker already had something Italian before the 1990s...
Italian-born french guy, I feel like it was the hand of destiny that forever worked the fates of these automobiles
Bugatti is as Italian as it could be, nothing to do with France at all.

That guy driving his F40 around LA: "Man, there isn't a cooler car on the road right now"
That same guy after spotting the EB 110: "I want to apologize."

It is an engineering marvel that any car tech-geek should take a closer look at!
cool.
good thing this moron knew nothing of any of it and did not mention it :D i'am suprised he called door buttons actually buttons, not "door popper" like in other videos... the guy is one person everything that is wrong with world today - totally ignorant but he dares to set the narrative and judge something he can even understand.
However, it was not the first sports car with the gearbox integrated into the engine block, even the Ferrari Testarossa was like that.
this is what it like to be one of the luckys persons in the world congrats bro u deserve it !!!!
