- Back in the 2000s while the internet just began booming, the WWE had this wild idea of holding fan interactive PPVs. Where on one night, the WWE fans held the power. Where they could choose stipulations, opponents and whatever else the WWE wanted. The PPVs were never anything special but that didn't change the fact that the shows were always hyped. So I thought why not go back and take a look back at some of these shows. Taboo Tuesday 2004 and 2005, Cyber Sunday 2006, 2006 and 2008.

I used to go around and change all the school computer's desktop picture to big daddy v for some unknown reason. This made me so nostalgic haha
thats so weird😭🤣
I live in UK and i told my mum when she had a nokia phone to vote on tabbo Tuesday good times
I used to draw the Nexus logo using Microsoft Paint on each computer and leave it as the background picture lol 😂
@@hasana7074 i used to go on RUclips and type edge 2002 theme literally had it on blast
I mean, I would understand if you would do that as a prank but it doesnt seem like that was your intention lol.
I miss the days when WWE had Unique PPV stages
fuck the LED stages.
I miss when it wasn't every ppv but 4 are all rule based, but they only have 1 match using those rules
Yes definitely
I miss the days wwe was good and watchable
Ikr
Can we talk about how dope the 06 and 07 set was
Facts, when 09 came they quickly stopped caring about the venues, I remember seeing certain stages over the years not look as cool as the Ruthless Aggression era.
@@KingJadInfiniteHope There were still some decently creative venues around 09-10, but yeah not nearly as much as previous years
@@maxb4210 facts
These concepts were so unique and just full of creativity. They would never do that stuff now unfortunately. 😭😭
Every match has to have a script now in wwe
@@veryunoriginalname the main problem with the event was sometimes the people creative expected to win didn’t (Shelton in ‘04) and they had to audible a rescript and redo the outcome because of it. Nowadays people would probably vote Reggie vs. Roman for the title.
@@veryunoriginalname they didn't even use the matches that the fans actually voted for
Yeah but unfortunately creativity is a sin in the WWE
@@thunderproductions3983 very true
Taboo Tuesday and Cyber Sunday were definitely ahead of their time. WWE should bring both back now that social media is a thing.
Weird they haven’t brought it back
They won't it'd be too hard to rig the vote using social media
Very true. Imagine the buzz WWE would get today if they announced a -PPV- Premium Live Event where all the matches are decided through the WWE Universe voting. You know for sure people will make WWE give the fans what they want.
Thank you I was thinking about it.
Sorry for the late upload, but I still came thruuu. Enjoy ❤️
You still the goat
It's cool. As long as there is a vid
Are you related to Nav?
Your good buddy, late or early, it’s good to see a new video by you pav :)
Yo WrestlinGifs could you re-upload, "Why everyone loves Jeff Hardy." please?
WWE in the early 2000s gave our childhood the best time to be alive, all the crazy feuds, the wild story lines, iconic moments it was all amazing and I miss that version of wwe so much!!
John cena vs rvd ecw 06 😮💨
Taboo Tuesday and cyber Sunday were awesome PPV'S And Those Stages for the PPV'S were awesome.
The matches with legends as option was dope as hell.
Already know this vid gonna be a banger we appreciate your hard work on these videos
You’re welcome
@@xierraleone1905 do you edit the vids
@@marieorender9385 yes I do
Cyber Sunday 2006 was one of my first WWE DVDs lol I’ll always have a infamous amount of respect for this PPV. The Jeff hardy match was fire, the main event was hilarious, the show was just a clusterfuck of amazing Ruthless Aggression wrestling
This was my first ppv dvd too
WWE should've realized fans were going to pick the steel cage for Ric and HHH. Ric Flair and a steel cage goes together just peanut butter and jelly
I'd honestly would love to see Cyber Sundays return, The internet is so big nowadays I think It'd work really well.
Indian fans would dominate the polls.
They would vote for Reggie vs Roman
I loved the Orton/Flair Cage Match, it represents wrestling to a tee for me
My dad had Cyber Sunday 2006 on DVD, I constantly played that DVD on repeat, great PPV!
True man
I love how he calls himself out at around the 0:30 second mark lol 😂😂😂
We all know the real best site 😂
I was always an Undertaker guy through every feud 🤣
Think I'm the only guy in the UK and world that actually liked this concept. It was way ahead of its time and it would work in present society
I loved that Cyber Sunday 2008 theme was Propane Nightmares by Pendulum. Thanks to that PPV for introducing me this amazing band. And the poster with Punk was dope too
They should definitely bring this back
Man these ppvs were super awesome as a kid. The concept was mind blowing, despite it being rigged. I would LOVE for this concept to come back in modern times. Here’s hoping it happens.
Nah fam you should deffo do a vid on the Batista-Undertaker 07 Rivaly. From Taker winning his first Royal Rumble, winning his first WHC, The back-to-back draws, Cyber Sunday and to cap it off with that Hell in a Cell (Lol Edge) this program was the best thing going in 2007
Taboo Tuesday and cyber Sunday was lit
My guy said he didn't know Rodney Mack was a real person LMFAO!
5:30 “Steel Cage won, and Triple H and Ric Flair bled so much, that you would think that the WWE is having a blood drive!”
- “WrestlinGifs” Pav 2021
Personally think regardless off the product now being bad imo they should bring one of these ppvs back certainly with how huge social media and online is
Yea it makes sense now, Especially considering how big The Media is these days
Yo dude, I watch every video you upload and I love your content, you grew up in the same era as me, and you nail the nostalgia factor, thanks for your content and keep it up!
I appreciate that late upload. I go to bed around this time and like watching videos before sleep.
Batista was my guy all the way still remember wen I knew he was my goat wrestlemania 21 😭😭
thank you for helping me through my breakup pav, it means the world
Loved these events and love the channel
bro, when you mentioned adventure quest, you unlocked a core memory of mine from 4th and 5th grade 🤣
In 2005-2007 Taboo Tuesday/Cyber Sunday's gimmick kinda hinders attendance bc mobile internet was barely a thing, so if you wanted to vote you had to do it in advance before going to the PPV
But Taboo Tuesday/Cyber Sunday's gimmick makes way more sense now when everyone in attendance can just vote on their phone right before the match
I remeber my two older brothers were on Batista side and I was on Undertaker side in that rivalry
These were so hyped back then for someone who didn't watch it every week, I still knew these were going to happen.
I loved the idea of these ppvs. Another amazing video. I hope even in 20 years I'm watching pavs videos where he is saying the attitude era was great but the ruthless aggression era was better and discussing the screwy but sometimes fun pg era the vivid era and so much more.
Yes. X videos got me kicked out of my computer lab 😂
Wtf
You shoulda been kicked out of school
this is the most underrated wrestling channel
Also, shoutout to you for putting the instrumental for “Right Above It” as the background music
i miss these ppvs they were so great and ahead of their time........i hope they bring it back someday.
Missed opportunity to mention Shawn superkicking Stan at Cyber Sunday 2006.
I believe the very first taboo tuesday the votes were real, but after certain matches didn't get voted as what Vince was expecting and most everything had to be improvised and called on the fly and Vince realized he had hardly any control, I think that was the first and last time Vince ever let the fans decide anything and it went back to what he wanted instead.
Love your videos
Bro just hit a memory with adventure quest
I was on takers side than Batista in that feud
I remember only watching the first one but enjoyed it at the theatres with my brothers and a friend
I somehow think their gonna bring this back soon, probably for an NXT special.
I went with my family to see taboo Tuesday and my grandma thought ric and triple h were going to die 🤣
I remember voting on Cyber Sunday. It was a cool idea overall because it literally gave fans the chance to choose which wrestler to push.
Unpopular opinion: i don’t know why people hate this ppv but this is one of my faves
CAN THEY BRING THIS BACK
Nah the fans always make obvious choices
It’s funny how they did such cool stuff when tech was booming , now we’ve reached pinnacle of mobile computing and yet they won’t do it no more
@female universe I think whatever we vote wwe would would know what they gotta do and manipulate votes even we would know what will be the outcome of polls
kane and big show teaming up and winning tag titles was awesome n thanks to taboo tuesday
I love both of those
I miss this
“What the fuck is a Triple H?”😹😹😹
They should try it again, because the concept is fantastic.
I’m would of been an Undertaker mark during that feud and I still am a Undertaker mark he’s my favourite Wrestler of all time 👍🙂
Keep it up ! Love your vids
Stay safe
I so loved this :D I always voted for Cyber Sunday
Great vid
Still no season mode......at this point someone going to make a reel of him saying he was going to do it
“Wtf is a triple H”😭😭😭
Taboo Tuesday and cyber Sunday was a fun ppvs, yes it was bad but we all love it what WWE were going for man I miss the good old days
They needs to bring back taboo tuesday
Props to Ric flair for wrestling in the 2000,s at almost 60 years old
Underrated era for flair, bro was having classics at 60 years old
Wake up babe 🏃🏃💨💨
New Pav video 😁😁😁😁
taboo Tuesday was always cool in video games for the entrance
We need this PPV back
9:15 this nigga Randy sold the hell out that stunner 😂😭
We need these PPVs nowadays
“What the fuck is a HHH” 😂
I never actually had a favourite in Batista vs Undertaker. I was just happy to see them wrestle. They had a great feud
The only recent memory I has was the "Power to the people" concept on 2011
& you would think with the presence of wwe twitter and social media in general, they would bring something like this back.
How I wish they bring this concept back.
Correct me if I’m wrong, although we could vote on the matches and stipulations and opponents, it was still rigged for the storylines correct ? Or no ?
No it was real voting
Only memory I have from cyber Sunday/taboo Tuesday was the classic
“SEE, I JUST KICKED STAN” line
they did do a mini ppv with the same concept called power to the people in 2012 I think
With how much they love to be trending, i would think this shit would be perfect today in the internet age.
but o wait, we'd be getting what we want and not what vince wants
They need to bring these back
The sets for the shows were nice.
A 2021 cyber Sunday would be perfect 👍
Hell yeah
Cyber Sunday is my favorite pay-per-view I wish I knew what WWE was at that time because when I started watching WWE in 2014 probably
They need to bring these ppvs back for real
I come to yt and the first notification I get Is this. Thanks for making me finish my mom's WiFi Pav💀
THE GREATEST RUclipsR EVER
They should go back to theming the stages to what the PPV was on that day
I was on Undertakers side allllll day, but I loved that Fred regardless. It was the first one I ever got into as a kid.
6:22 I peeped the G-Unit track in the background 🤣
From 07 to 08 , man look at the quality difference, HD changed a lot, I kinda liked it better when it wasn’t HD
Wish these were still around
batista vs undertaker was always so tough for me, both were among my favourite wrestlers but overall Batista although just slightly
0:28 AYOOOOOO CALL ME A WEIRDO CAUSE CLUB PENGUIN WAS MY LIFE
SEÑOR TIMEEEE 🔥❤️❤️
Taboo Sunday and Cyber Sunday 🔥❤️
Never voted but i had the DVD of Taboo Tuesday 2005, 7 year old me thought that show was incredible
they should bring back the new year revalution ppv in my opinion for the first day of every new year
Okay It's Random But Can we all appreciate the juicy , mafia kinda, thick and amazing accent our boy has....
I was a Batista guy too!
