I'm fresh off of the first episode. This is just a quick first impression. This is how you do it ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. This is how you open a series. Instead of attacking your fans and audiences, instead of front loading your production with empty virtue signalling and other such nonsense, you let the quality of your work do the talking. This is a really well made, solid first outing and opening. Probably one of the most entertaining and captivating "pilot" episode I have seen in while. Antoine Fuqua shines here as does Chris Pratt. As does the rest of the cast, the cinematography, special effects and action sequences etc. You cannot beat practical effects, real locations with an oversaturation of CGI and green screens. With "Bosch", "Bosch Legacy", "Reacher", "Jack Ryan", "Outer Range" and now "The Terminal List" (and other grittier, adult oriented content of different genres) Amazon Prime has built a solid portfolio of programming. They may want to rethink continuing down the path of "prestige" projects, cough "The Wheel Of Time", cough "The Rings Of Power", cough... Quality is the way to go in my humble opinion. Not quantity and scale.
