Love the fact that they made it as a film. I don't think I've ever watched another action/military TV series since after Band of Brothers and the Pacific just because how storylines were always trying to drag something that can be done for one episode all the way to 3 or more, and always hated the bad effects of those series and poor training. This thing is so awesome I finished it on July 1st in one day - and yes it does feel like a film, everything is tight instead of sluggish. Fantastic.
I feel that, you should try watching SEAL Team if you haven't already. Characters are somewhat solid and the action scenes are decent

Line of duty
This is the BEST eight hours I've ever spent in front of a movie screen or a tv set!! Absolutely another level of film making/writing!! I'm on my second go-round now so I can try and stitch it all together!! Maybe I'll get it all on my third go!!
I got feelings of Rambo First blood which I really liked. But it stepped it up with that anger and sadness for Reece's loss. Definitely a great series.
@@justintime41776 that episode where he's in a national park getting chased literally felt like a modern day first blood. I was on the edge of my seat!

The casting of this show was fantastic. Every character was extremely believable, from the cops to the admiral to the politicians. Its been a long time since I enjoyed a show as much as this one.
This series was absolutely fantastic. Brought me back to the great political thrillers of the late 80's-early 90's...but as a Father of a young daughter, the end really got to me as my Daughter was in the other room drawing me a picture while I was watching it. Tough stuff, but brilliantly done
Love Chris Pratt as an actor! Terminal List, watched 1st episode and was hooked, finished the entire season! Was captivating in a good way. Finally something worth watching!!
Definitely one of the finest produced series I’ve seen, book was better but this one hit all the major moments in each episode!
Agree that book was better, but the first book is also the worst of them. The most generic and slow, because they have to set everything up. But book 2 onward.... man it just gets better and better. The fourth book was probably my favorite.

They did an amazing job with this show. After I watched it I straight up said this felt like an 8 hour movie that was interesting the entire time.

Unreal weapons training in this series, definitely some of the best I’ve ever seen on screen, the gun control Chris Pratt demonstrated was phenomenal, mirrors actual team guys. Terrific series👌🏼
This one hit different & it felt different while watching. Not sure if it's the storyline or the effects or the dark camera, but we need more please!
It hit me different because I think we can identify with "our most trusted institutions" lying to us, killing us and covering it up for profit and power.

This was legit an amazing show. And it was amazing to see Chris playing a SEAL. He did a hell of a job.
More of this and Reacher maybe a crossover and a universe. Forget "The message"?
I think there's an intentional nod to Reacher by naming the character James "Jimmie" Reese, 2nd baseman for the Yankees.

I was entertained throughout the entirety, not a single dull episode!
Loved the show! My only small gripe was at the mountain chase scene where he sustained most his big injuries. That fall onto the rock (albeit mostly a dummy for the shot) looked like his legs were both broken by the way they bent sideways at the knees. That and the gunshot wound to the abdomen that was oozing lots of blood, then he went down the river to the airport and he's walking as if everything is fine? Most everything else I can believe, but that was over the top for me. Otherwise, a phenomenal series!!
yeah i feel like that scene was added during editing either because it had a massive error/problem in the original shoot or maybe they just forgot to shoot it so they threw in one of the test runs with the dummy and hoped no one would notice, lol.
His abdomen caught most of the fall and it wasn't a really big fall. The gunshot wound is no secret. You can survive minutes if not hours with a GSW. Specially if it's not a life threatening injury.
Also, he’s a SEAL, they’re built differently than norm.
I think after watching Lone Survivor, everyone would expect him to somehow walk away hahaha

Antoine Fuqua with another masterpiece! He’s definitely one of the best contemporary directors. The Howard hawks of are day!
This was a great series. 9/10 for sure. Chris Pratt was so good in this as was the rest of the cast. I can’t say enough about how freaking good it was.
I loved everything about this series! What I loved the most was not even the action, it was the transition between his memories when he went back to his house! He even looked at the trophy as if it was real during one of his flashbacks. That was amazingly done!
Finally, a "woke-free" show. First, top gun Maverick and now this. Hope this becomes common. Love it

I have just finished the terminal list which is very exciting and both of Chris and Taylor are so cool. I hope to see more about both of them have action scenes a lot.

The BEST adaptation of a book ever made. I kept waiting for them to take some “creative liberties”, nah dude. Loyal to the last page. I can only hope that this is the future. Anything Antoine’s name is on, i’m in.

This is awesome concept "cinivision/cinavision" as a really good extra long and detailed movie. Definitely binge worthy, and watch multiple times bc catch things in 2nd viewing that make more sense when not being aware of the details in the 1st original viewing. Totally loved the show and def want more.

Dude this whole show was fantastic. I knew Taylor Kitsch was going to pull the rug out though. I didn’t want to believe it. Plus they listen JDs character as Tony Liddel lol. It’s Tony Layun.

I am repeating myself , but After Band of Brothers this was the best War series I have seen since then , and still didn't finish , Amazing work and story on the first season that I hope gets even better in the second , Chris Pratt is a rock solid Actor , in fact one of the best in this kind of roles if not the best at present time,the story is just breathtaking and you understand it was wrote by an ex frogman when you see it or read it I have read another book from ex Seal team six operator recently as well called Seal Team Six from Howard Wasdin and Stephen Templin two ex Frogman and its also a very good reading and you can see the difference in this guys books , one the last is based on true situations and describes the road from this Two es Seals after Mogadishu and this is Fiction situation but nevertheless shows up what is the Spirit of the Seal community and Men ... Love this Stories Thank God this series came cause it deserves to be out and show people what is the Seal community spirit and commitment to US Flag and country! Thank you .

I still can't believe this show came out of Amazon. No woke messages. No checking racial boxes with casting. I couldn't believe it. I almost didn't watch it but then saw leftist writers triggered by it and had to watch. It was so good without the BS I almost watched the whole thing in one day.
@@ShizawnSanders It's funny that you said no checking racial boxes, because they actually did check all the boxes, and yet it feels so natural. Almost as if you can have a diverse cast without having to bring it up every 3 seconds and the audience will buy into it. What a crazy thought.
@@rockyroad7247 what's your problem? Do you not know what checking boxes means? Checking boxes means the actor got his or her part based solely on their skin color or being gay or whatever. Anything other than how the character was written in the first place and his or her talent. Happens all the fucking time. Not just in movies either. That didn't happen with this show and it was obvious.

I’m former military and appreciate what this show portrays that, if you’ve never served, you wouldn’t know…and I’m laughing at the below comments from some who have obviously never served or about men and masculinity in general…we are rare and will never be tamed, we are who we are…so move on…
