I'm 100% in favor of making Pratt the next gritty action hero
Harrison Ford had some comedy and wit with his characters in his action movies before he got a bit gritty and dark... I'm fully with you and think he could turn it around like Ford and become that in the second stage of his career
@@MichaelBrown-rg8oi the Jack Carr books are certainly going to be his transition to the more darker phase of action movies/series and Chris is just the perfect guy to play James Reece and im sure he would be great in the next phase of his career pmaying this type of character
I'm curious as to where Pratt's career will go after he's done with both Jurassic and the MCU. While, the Terminal List is a success and guaranteed a follow-up season, it may take some before he truly tests the waters of the gritty crime/action genre (maybe even do some Westerns or Action comedies). His next line of movies are still of the kid friendly type with Super Mario, Garfield, Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and a potential sequel to The Tomorrow War.

The beginning of the show really makes you think he’s crazy until episode 2 or 3 when he shoots the operator in the car😳

It's absolutely satisfying and wonderful storytelling. Most characters in the show and even ourselves believed that he's just crazy. That street shootout scene is everything he needed to prove to everyone that he's not just insane.
Thank god. I thought the whole series was gonna be like that. Everyone doubting the man and even himself at some points but it was well done imo
Exactly. But, he still has tumors after all and keep seeing his family. And that also makes it great. Cause I thought the tumors were made up 😅
Reacher was an amazing show but felt like a show , Terminal list was a show that felt like a movie and honestly loved every episode

When he tied that dude in Mexico up with his intestines I was surprised. That was truly mid evil . I’m definitely gonna read all the books now. I wish they would make a good movie based on the book SOG by John Plaster or one of John Stryker Meyers . Those are some intense true stories.

probably my favorite thing of the show, at 5:50 you can actually see Reece hiding off to the side waiting for guy to draw. it's little details like that that go a long way

That scene when he tore someones abdomen and told him to walk was an eye opener of what lengths reece is willing to take, to avenge his family

The best Action series I saw in a long time , and the story is just a masterpiece , got to buy the book !

Id call this a modern day 80s action series and i love it.
I would love for the 4 Chrises of Hollywood (Evans, Pine, Hemsworth and Pratt) to star in an epic action movie.

Hmm... Good guy roles would go to Hemsworth & Pratt, while Pine & Evans take the Bad guy roles. Or maybe make it something like the Expendables. There's just one problem, having these 4 together would make the movie too white and masculine. Which is something modern Hollywood forbids.

Should've included Axe kill on the assassin Drowning by log & Claymore bomb. Those were Brutal. I know it feels like the story is completed but I hope there's a season 2. Just as AWESOME as this.
I’m pretty sure they already confirmed season 2, and there are more books in the series so I’m positive they’ll continue the story
Read the book if you enjoyed the brutal action there's definetly a good amount there

There will be a season 2, Chris Pratt confirmed it himself. We just don't know when exactly that will happen, there are 5 total books, plenty of content to go through.
Jack carr about a year ago in the joe rogan podcast said that there where already talks that if the series was a hit they would have a second season on True Believer so im hoping that comes out soon i cant wait

It was a little bit dark, I'm sure it was because it dealt with such a dark subject, but I loved it, that's what I would want my husband to do for me and my kid, amazing
The Jack carr books the series is based on keep that dark tone and are certainly graphic they couldnt obviously put it all or it would probably be a bit distasteful but the books are as great as the show if not better so i would definetly recommend reading them

I swear, I was completely happy at the end of episode 4. I thought I’d was over bc the “next episode” button didn’t appear. They could’ve spread it out like that and edited/filmed more for a second season because this was well done!

Pretty sure that in a Joe rogan podcast about a year ago Jack carr the autor said that there where already talks of possibly having a second season based on the second book if the first season was a hit, it was so i think we can expect the second season also he said that the only reason they didnt spread it out is that they essentialy filmed it like a 8 hours movie

This, gangs of London and punisher (also daredevil) are my top action shows.
Seriously, for a Military show this is the most accurate I’ve seen Military Ordinance done so far. Like the way the Pratt handles his gunplay and all that. I love the way he press checks his sidearms too. It’s one thing to do a Military show or movie and just do the standard action movie stuff but to see the writers/showrunners took the time to get every little detail done like how an actual soldier would move and operate, especially if one were to operate on domestic soil, was done superbly well. Can’t wait for True Believer and the Dark Wolf spinoff
This show had no business being as good as it is. On the surface its a cool action thriller and ofcourse it is that, but it's at the top of its genre in quality and entertainment.
The books are so amazing and the show did the first book justice. Not many shows capture the source material well and it's very rare for them to be as good as this was.
I heard the showrunner and Chris Pratt say on a podcast they had a whole bunch of ideas in the works. Shows, movies and maybe even a video game I heard a rumor about.
i love how he kills most people without a single thought, but when it comes to American soldiers and officers he tries his best not to kill them.
If he hadn't taken care of it, there would have been no earthly justice for his family, though to be sure, there would be eternal justice! He sent a strong message, "You might not be as Teflon as you think!"
