We depend too much on these white awards tbh. We need our own awards. Who the F was Oscar anyway ??? Plus The design Of the Oscar award was inspired by Ptah, a Black deity of ancient Egypt. The last thing black America needs is that award. It's pretentious.

It's decent, but nowhere near Malcolm X or Do the Right Thing. I give it a 3+/5. Solid performances and great soundtrack but underwhelming pacing and as subtle as an axe to the head.

Blackkklansman was AMAZING! Adam Driver and John David Washington did amazing!! I love Adam Driver and I was soooo happy to have people see what a great actor he is and versatile. He's amazing and such a great guy.

Inside man was one of my favorite heist films I loved the new Yorker vibe it had and that cast was insane
I can’t begin to explain how great of a Director I feel Spike Lee is. There is not a single movie of his that I’ve seen that I didn’t love

Inside Man is in my Top 10 of all time. Its refreshing to see a Hero and Villain on the same level, plus its just such a satisfying film with excellent twists and payoffs

I put off watching Malcolm X for so long, because I figured it would be just another biopic. Big mistake! I couldn't have been more wrong. Denzel's performance is out of this world, and Spike is on the top of his game.

Inside man was my favorite.
Why do they keep leaving School Daze off of these lists? DO YOU not understand that HBCU enrollment rates skyrocketed after this films release? All of the tv shows and other films that were inspired by this movie? Fashion, politics,community awareness, Black pride, inter-societal angst. This film popularized HBCU football teams, Black Greek life, The love affair of ALL of the shades of Black women in their natural and relaxed ways. I could go on. Kids today just going into college should be sat down and made to watch this film. Guide them to make that choice of NOT giving their money and educational future to just any institution but to THE institution-our HBCU's!
