In March and April of 2017 I had cateract surgery on both my right and left eyes. In October 2021 I gave my recruiter all my medical paperwork and my DD214s cause I was in Army Basic Combat Training in 2014 til 2015 and I failed Marksmanship training and got a chapter 11 discharge. In 2016 I received a waiver and got shipped to Fort Sill Oklahoma were they said I had cateracts in both of my eyes. Yesterday at 11AM I went to my Navy recruiters office and things are looking real good for me as far as my medical waiver.

I tried to join when I was 17 with my mom going with me to recruitment office. Had a juvinille defered adjudication when I was 14. Recruiter went to court house and got a paper that said "no record found" , went to juvinille center and got paper that said "arrested" "no record found" . Told me I had to go and get the files myself and I did thinking it would help my case. They wouldn't waive my charges. Should I have not said anything since their expunged/sealed? After that he just walked me out the door and didn't say a word and I haven't been back since. I'm 21 now and it's still something I want to do. Should I try another branch at another office but dont mention the juvinille defered adjudication?
