Modern games often use forward correction, redundant packet delivery or out of order multiplexing to reduce the impact of packet loss. This is where the excuse of "dropping input" coming from. Also keep in mind he hasnt played hardly ANY actual games AT Master Rank because he knows he'd get destroyed and, in fact, he did the few games he did play. 100% guarantee when he gets to Master, he just never plays that character at Master and moves on to someone else. He doesn't wanna compete for Master Rate because it's a true ELO-style system where you win as much as your opponent loses and vice-versa, so he can't just grind to keep gaining points like he is now.
He already said that after getting to master with Honda or Blanka, he will focus on the other one, and when he has both on Masters he will pick up "some of his secondary characters"
So yeah, he doesn't actually plan to use any character on Master rank. He doesn't even use them on Community Nights
