We have a 38 ft Jayco travel trailer thay we put on our land. After evaluating the cost of travel and the inconvenience of traveling with a large rig, we came across an Artic Fox truck camper and put that on our dually. It is a great way to travel for just the 2 of us and our dog. When not traveling, we can take it off the dually. The truck camper becomes our guest house. We love watching the two of you and your family. Thank you for bringing all of us on your travels.
Did you know we have traveled for 4-1/2 years using Thousand Trails, National Forest, CORP, Harvest Host & and very few private parks. We travel for the National Parks in the lower 48. I say this because I know we can enjoy life without breaking the bank. I’m considered old to y’all so I do spend less. Enjoy your national forest with or without electricity. Love watching you guys.
Buc-ee’s, for the last four years, we have been staying the night at Buc-ee’s in Robertsdale, Al. On our last trip, in September 2023. The manager knocked on our door at 5am. He said that there was no over night parking anymore. He never gave a reason why. When we got to Fort Wilderness at Disney. We was talking to the campers next to us. And got talking to the people next to us and the man said he was from Alabama, near Buc-ee’s. He said the reason for no over night staying at buc-ee’s. Is due to someone dumping his black tank on in the sewer. I’m not sure if you can stay overnight again.
If you consider in the cost of electricity, the cost of water and sewer it’s understandable…. Blame it on Washington…. They’ve cost the prices of everything to skyrocket
It’s called supply and demand. If people are going and buying or using wasteful. Then they will be raising prices at companies. Only way to change is only buy bare minimum needs.
Thanks for the heads up Pam! I will definitely be checking any front load washers we use from now on? So, I was wondering what if you heed something from the store after you have everything hooked up….do you unhook water, sewer and electric to go? For the record Patrick and I always watch your videos to the end. Safe travels friends. 😊
I know someone that owns a private campground here in New Braunfels TX. And the reason for the price increases are their taxes and insurance policies have doubled since 2000. The cost of labor for their employees are up and if something breaks and needs repair those prices have skyrocketed. That’s why a lot are being bought out by Sun Outdoors Inc.
You guys are great! As you know, I’ve been watching you guys from the beginning. Heck every six months or so. I watch your very first video because it reminds me so much of when I started. It’s so funny my Jacob pinnacle 32 RLTS is being built next month and my F450 is on order, but I can already see me someday switching to a classy and pulling the jeep. I’m not quite ready for that yet but boy I see it coming. I’ll be very interested to hear about your pros and cons with the class C. Hoping with my fifth wheel only be 36 feet. I’ll be a little bit more maneuverable than Lucy. Thanks for being you!
Thanks for another great video. You keep saying you’all have been to 48 states. Does that mean you have missed the 49th & 50th? If so, my bride & I live in the 49th state, come on up you’ll have a great time - see ya here, Just say’n…
The very first time I used RV Trip Wizard we where heading east on I10 Florida heading to Savannah, I plotted our route and night stay at… That next day and leg of travel heading down I10, following the planned route and night stay, my wife started cracking up. Hey I didn’t notice clothes were optional. Several times during the day my wife retold my destination story and like a fisherman, it got bigger and bigger.
Try camping in New England. $80 is a good price, most are now up around $100, we have even paid $150 a night and that’s for a gravel or grass site. It’s crazy!
I have been waiting for someone to talk about Rv Park prices especially in fl and how do they get buy with not refunding in emergencys. It is out of hand. I love the sand and ants comparison, very true
FYI. Here in Georgia, a lot of COE's are being turned over to County recreation to run. We even have city governments turning parks into (essentially parking lots ) rv parks.
Like you, we are looking to make a change to the way we travel. We currently have a 35' class A and tow are car on a dolly. It can be quite cumbersome so we are thing of going to a smaller class C. We flip flop what we are going to do EVERYDAY! Why, because our class A is perfect for us and has been our summer home for 5 years. We are interested in finding out how you are going to get around to shop and see the sites so we'll be watching!
Just my opinion! Obviously the RV Resort prices went way up. Also obviously, guys like the one that owns Talona Ridge RV Resort have an expensive lifestyle and they saw something went up 8% so they raise their price 10% or more.
Wow sold the dually huh, so now do plan on getting a towed vehicle??? I have a class A and use a dolly so it doesn’t restrict what kind of vehicle you can buy
Another thing that is gross and disgusting is when people with their gloves on finish hooking up (sewer hose etc) then turn on the water with their dirty gloves! I’m like Pam but I clean the water faucet with sanitizing wipe and when I leave the CG I re-clean the faucet.
I thought you was going to gossip about frame flex that's the biggest gossip that I have heard I would like to see you all made a video about it if you could.
they make rules and rvers can change rules. it is so easy. just do not go to those parks. no more. put the word out. I guarantee you when they find out they're not making any money and the park is empty. they'll change the rules cuz the dollar rules everything
Good video 😊 just saying Good you got rid of the Ford but what I think its costing you more to have two rig's your going smaller because of the economy the rv Industry is in trouble your not the only channel that down sized we might be heading into recession the repoing rv and trucks cars rv manufacturers have quality problems prices to high there's one channel paving your way grand design has frame problems damage was told to go away not sure how bad said 16 thousand to fix the rig your on your own they may have to sell it as is so no more rving they have a family like you🤔😆
Pam Lee sad to see maximus gone. Im hoping this isn't the start of you guys leaving. I do have to admit not a big fan of your gossip and did you know episodes, tend not to go back and watch them.
I vote Pam RVer of the year. Way to go Pam!!!!!!

I’m so excited for you I can’t wait to see the new family adventure videos in the class C.

I Vote Pam RVer of the year
Love you guys!! Enjoy the class c.

We're noticing the same thing as well. RV space with water and electric only are $55 to $65 per night. Just going to have to "grin and bear it".
Love Talona Ridge RV Campground in East Ellijay, GA.
We knew you sold the truck, you told us at the Tampa get together 😜
Concerning the laundry, we couldn't agree more, we clean before every time, some people are disgusting.
So gross! At the moment I have a combo unit in my class A but I have to do the bedding at campground laundry.

People wash their rugs in those machines and they seem to have dog hair all over them. Seen this at plenty RV resorts.
I don’t use public laundry. Had to have washer and dryer to travel
Another thing that is gross and disgusting is when people with their gloves on finish hooking up (sewer hose etc) then turn on the water with their dirty gloves! I’m like Pam but I clean the water faucet with sanitizing wipe and when I leave the CG I re-clean the faucet.
Or just consider the handle is contaminated at all times. Wear your gloves.
Hey set the 5th wheel at AL. For a home bass ? And Pam wood be a good drummer I no I have been for 45 years
What about transportation other than the class C? Pull something?
Yes people do wash their dog beds and blankets! At Sun Outdoors. Also we ate at one now AND they don't make people follow the rules they make
I thought you was going to gossip about frame flex that's the biggest gossip that I have heard I would like to see you all made a video about it if you could.
Nooooooooo Maximus!,,,,, nooooooo
Pam and Lee, big money has bought out the private parks now. There is always someone out to screw everyone as demand increases for the campsites.
Lisa Kudrow visit Lake Of The Ozarks Missouri
Switching to HDT??
Are you going to replace your wheel simulators on the right side. Asking for a friend.😊
Tell your friend some mistakes can’t be corrected. Lol…Besides, if we pass you then you will know it is us.
Great answer...have a good day.
Anyone knows where I can find RV storage for $2/day? Thanks
Are you for real ?
they make rules and rvers can change rules. it is so easy. just do not go to those parks. no more. put the word out. I guarantee you when they find out they're not making any money and the park is empty. they'll change the rules cuz the dollar rules everything
Sum it up = Covid and Joe Bidon

Man up and get your wife a washer dryer. Come on Lee you’re better than this….
Ok, I got tot the end of the video. Forget the washer dryer but man up ☺
