    If I could give you a 1000 thumbs up, I would. Finally, someone that doesn't make a 30 minute video with only 60 seconds of usable information. So many people make videos and just randomly talk. It has nothing to do with the subject. Thank you, fantastic information delivered perfectly. Thank you

    Should be required viewing for all aspiring videographers.

    This is an excellent video. The 45 degree zerks are smart. I have a 90 degree fitting on my grease gun which works but its a bit of a pain. The leaf springs are toast. They are flattened and bent down.

    Nice comprehensive compact video!!! Excellent overview on the the required maintenance and inspection of the RV!!!
    One item to add, is your fuse panel check. When checking the integrity of the connections, the screws attaching to the fuse have a recommended torque value to be set at. Mine are 32 inch pounds. I usually check ours twice a year. You will be surprised how loose than can get, and most importantly, thats a huge fire risk. A lot of coaches that are delivered those connections are loosely screw in without the correct torque.
    👍😃🍻

      Thanks Mike and I appreciate the great tip. It was surprising how many screws and connections were loose when I went through the rig after we got it. Those loose electrical connections are a big fire risk for sure. -Steve

    Great tips thank you for the video! I'm not a fan of Dicor sealant as it contains a large percentage of water and will shrink over time. A product like 3M 4000 won't shrink and is still waterproof with excellent adhesion.

    • @RadarRoadWarriors
      @RadarRoadWarriors  2 года назад

      Jerry, I haven’t heard of that product being used on the PVC/TPO roofs before but I’ll look into it. I know there are a few options and Dicor has worked well so far on our roof. -Steve

    I'd think about removing that flexible hosing plumbed in your rv and replace with pex. It's a leak/flood risk waiting to happen. The manufacturer's don't attach it correctly/use the correct fittings. Really unfortunate that they put that junk in but it's quick and cheap which is about all they care about.

    • @RadarRoadWarriors
      @RadarRoadWarriors  11 месяцев назад

      Very true, the flex hoses on PEX fittings is the number 1 water leak I come across on fresh water systems. They either get replaced with PEX pipe or get a proper hose barb fitting that’s made for them.

    Wouldn't recharging (removing captured moisture) the closet dehumidifiers inside your rig just put the moisture back in your RV?

    • @RadarRoadWarriors
      @RadarRoadWarriors  Месяц назад

      With recharging them in the open where there is a full-size dehumidifier, it doesn't affect the living space. They are for the closed-off spaces that don't have airflow.

    Window in door keeps slipping down . how do I fix this?

    • @RadarRoadWarriors
      @RadarRoadWarriors  Год назад

      If it’s a window that’s not supposed to move, it may need to be replaced. If it’s a slider window in a door, it could just be the latches. Without seeing it, I’m guessing. You may need a tech to look at it or try posting into a RVing Facebook group. -Steve

      RVs don’t take a lot of grease with a grease gun so a good hand pump gun does a good job. I prefer the pistol grip gun and have this one. amzn.to/3zdAq4V

    Just wondering, I am a heavy guy and wondering, whats the weight limit on the roof? 1st time going to walk through and do the maintenance. Thank you.

    • @RadarRoadWarriors
      @RadarRoadWarriors  8 месяцев назад +1

      It would depend on the manufacture and how the built the roof. Usually 5th wheels and motor homes are built stronger. If it says lite on the camper the roof is not strong. I crawl on those and stay on the trusses.
      Also it’s always better to crawl if you need to spread out the weight on the roof.

      @RadarRoadWarriors our trailer is grand design imagine xls. Do you think the roof is ok? For 270lbs?

    • @RadarRoadWarriors
      @RadarRoadWarriors  8 месяцев назад +1

      @@kylecagalingan6018 Grand Design is one that builds strong roofs. I wouldn’t be worried at 270 lbs on that roof. You do need to be careful near skylights, A/Cs or other large cut outs in the roof since the wood is weaker next to a large hole cut into a roof.

    So it's okay to take the wheels off with the slides out?

    • @RadarRoadWarriors
      @RadarRoadWarriors  2 года назад +1

      RV Family,
      If the slides are out and the RV is auto leveled, yes you can take 1 wheel off at a time. Also remember to use a jack stand or blocking under the axle.
      If all 4 tires were coming off at the same time, I have the slides in.
