Hey Craig, the 2024 Ford F350 SRW, HO, Platinum, Tremor I just picked up will drive itself “Lane Centering” and “Adaptive Cruise Control” will drive itself for 15 seconds at a time then you push on the steering wheel to let it know you are there. It’s available on most of the trim levels. Come to the dark side with Ford brother, the water is warm… 1200 foot pounds of torque and 500 horsepower it pulls our Z3610 like a dream!!
I have the 2021 F150 with lane centering and adaptive cruse control and I tow with it all on. It makes a huge difference! It takes a lot of stress away. Still need to keeps hands and eyes on
Ford is by far the best for tech in trucks IMHO. They simply corner the market with these because of the massive amount of attention to detail they put into them. I love the look of the Ram trucks, but they don't have the interior fit and finish and tech that Ford has.
I really REALLY REALLY think that you two could be on a sitcom! Even if it was glamping in our RV .. and having different neighbors all the time.. and the neighbors be for funny part and u 2’s reaction to them. I think it would be hilarious ❤
Indiana supports the RV repair industry also with their road conditions. Nice park though. Safe travels! And that doesn't count as snow, just a little cold dust. It's obvious you guys are from Florida!
Get a chamois for the windows or wherever else drops of water accumulate (ceilings). Then ring it out outside. Then it has no chance of running downwards to stuff it can damage over time. Cheers.
Hey guys, we also have a Z3100, #99 and it’s at the factory now having some repairs done along with some upgrades we want. Craig, get a measurement from to high point of the front A/C to a fixed point on one side. We chose measuring to the top of the opening at the Nautilus water system. Then we can measure from there to the ground after we hook up to the truck and know exactly what our height is, no mater how loaded or unloaded the camper is. Also, running the furnace does not add moisture to the air. The combustion happens in a chamber which is vented out the side of the camper. The combustion while using the stove or oven does release some moisture, but the furnace can’t. People think it does, but because warm air holds more moisture in suspension, they blame it on the furnace. Electric heat will do the same thing. Just leave the bathroom vent open a little because it’s height than the kitchen vent. You will lose some warmth but it will take some moisture with it. It would take a house-size dehumidifier to pull it all out while living in the southeast.
Oh how funny, our RVs are probably neighbors then, as ours is currently at the service center now! And good to know about the furnace! Everyone has always said that the furnace will add moisture because of the propane but it makes sense that there is the vent outside that would let it out. thanks for the tip!!
@@wildrvlifewe learned this lesson the hard way in very cold weather at a private membership campground where the power went out. Victoria, at 2:16 I notice you activating slides while your door was closed. It can be very helpful to open your door while activating slides. Slides are pretty well sealed now and the air pressure building up while you move slides in or out can be considerable. This adds resistance to the movement of your slides which also adds a load to your slide motors. This could contribute to your fuse situation.
Can’t wait to follow along with you guys to Alaska! Also, we toured the RV Hall of Fame last year while in Indiana doing some battery upgrades on our van and loved it! Safe travels!
WOW! RV HALL OF SHAME! WHO MAKES THIS CRAP UP? DID YOU COUNT THE NUMBER OF METH HEADS AT THE RV HALL OF FAME? JUST WONDERING...ALSO HAVE YOU SEEN THE BUILD QUALITY OF PRETTY MUCH ALL RVs?
You Both make it easy for people to Follow You on Your Adventures. Snow to me is amazing. But in NC we don't get that much. Hope You both stay Blessed and Well.
Today is March 7th and we left Fla. on the 1st, We live just east of I 65 on US 50. Our travel days were Friday thru Sunday. We picked up I 65 in Montgomery and stayed 2 nights just of this road. No downtowns to deal with with low anything. I will agree that parts of 65 are rough south on the city.
yeah there were parts of it that seemed pretty chill but then a few parts that weren't so chill, lol. Sounds like you had a big weekend of driving though too!
Hey guys! If you're coming back through Southern Indiana, we live about 45 minutes south of Indianapolis and can hook you up with 50amp service for a night and there's a free dump station a mile down the road. If you're interested, reply and we can set it up! We're near I-65 and it's easy in, easy out.
thank you so much!! I think we'll be heading more west when we leave, but if you want to shoot us an email, I'll make a note in our map with your email for Indianapolis in case we're ever coming back through there!
As a southern man, I count that as snow flurries ❄️ As for exercising, it is hard to get out in the cold for exercise. When it warms up, you both will be out there more often. That was a good picture 📸 😃👍
I should not even tell this story but....in 2016 we bought a new travel trailer that was 9'6" or 2.89m tall (Canada). Was bringing it home the first day and never even thought about it until I got home, but I had gone under a railroad track that is labeled 2.90 meters. I did not hit, but my measured height of the trailer was less than 1/2" less than the labeled height of the railway. I assume they must put a little fudge factor in there. Needless to say my heart was beating pretty hard when I realized what I had done. I can only imagine the feeling had I scrapped our brand new trailer on day 1..... 🤒, but I guess lady luck was on my side that day. as always, safe travels
With being a SimTriage Analyst for a self-driving AI company. I LOVED IT. We had to learn inside the cars first. It's great fun. So it's a yes for me. Our RV is in the shop for the fourth time since we last saw you. We are all finding out what life in an RV is like full-time. Wishing you the best in getting it in and out in a timely manner. We've been with in-laws going on a month now. Anyway, until next week…
Oh man, so sorry to hear that the RV is back in the shop! 😩 that really is the worst part of RV life. And sometimes it seems like people get lucky and don't ever have anything too major and other times it's like you're describing... hopefully this will be the last time for a long while it has to go in!
Hope the repairs are going well. I used to winter camp in Washington with a big group in tents. All were off roaders and usually the snow would be a foot or so deep. Had a camp stove for the tents and it was pretty fun. Most of the guys where soviet military that had stayed in the USA when the soviet union collapsed. Poor Maverick is so sweet just telling you he loves you. Have you tried hiding things for them to find or other "jobs""? They like to work. I think open road youtube channel said they met you, they are going to Alaska this summer also. They now have a sweet pup also.
Since you’re in northern Indiana how about doing a meet and greet for your northern fans. I live less than 100 miles from there and would love to meet you both.
The GMC Denali Ultimate also has vibrating seats for those long trips. I have the AT4 and that’s the only thing I wish it had. The cruise while towing is amazing! And I was going to ask if you were using a fuel discount. Thank for the info👏
Hey guys. Love the video. I see you avoided driving through Atlanta this time. I hate taking our RV through there. So while we were watching your video and you showed the snow outside a hail storm hit us. We are still in Central Florida, the sound of the hail on the RV was so loud. Our first storm experience since we started our journey. It was freaky. I hope you arrive at the Brinkley Factory safe. Pls take care. Love always Freddy and Bryan
Oh gosh, I hope you avoided any hail damage! Hail storms are always our worst fear because they can pop up seemingly without warning and you never know what size hail might fall from the sky!
We take our dog EVERYWHERE too. I learned from friends at the local dog part that here in Ohio the dog needs to secured. There is a 450 ticket if the dog is in the back, $100 if the dog is in the front.
On my gosh, I wish I had known. I’m less than 10 miles away from Toney. I dont have hook ups but you could park at our place…… anytime. We watch you guys all the time.
We're still happy with ours after a year of owning it, but we also don't believe that there is an RV out there that 100% of the owners have zero problems and that repairs and maintenance are just a part of owning an RV (or house). But, that being said, if you're interested in our full review, you can watch it here: ruclips.net/video/EitLn0hmSzg/видео.html
Several years ago, I was in CT, at a family funeral, with our C-class. I needed to get on the parkway. There were signs saying, "No trucks." I figured I wasn't a truck, so no problem. Within minutes I came upon a very low bridge. I stopped right in the middle of the road, super scared. I didn't know how tall our rig was. Big mistake! I was alone, so no one to help me. I got out and looked. Then drove a bit, got out and looked, drove a bit and got out to look...several times. I made it under the bridge, but hustled off that parkway at the next exit, praying there were no more low bridges before the exit. Lesson learned! Put the rig measurements on the dash and if it says, no trucks, stay away!!
Gold Paw! Check out their fleeces for the pups! They are the best and just enough for dogs that don’t need thick jackets. Easy to put on (face the seam out!). Furley truly loves his every winter. They last FOREVER and you can layer two if needed.

@@wildrvlifedon’t even get me started on the construction, I think that’s been ongoing since the 90s lol. Enjoy Indiana, southern Indiana has some nice campgrounds but most don’t open until May since we can go from 70 degrees to 20 in the span of a weekend 😂
I think that you need to open a vent or two, even when it is cold, to help reduce the moisture build up. The furnace in RV's puts off a fair amount of moisture also, so you might give that a try.
Yes, and running the A/C on the dry setting for a little while can help too! plus trying to use our electric fireplace instead of the furnace as much as we can
Michele and I are in our 4th year ft and have never had a moisture problem. We simply run a Maxaire exhaust fan on low all the time when we're not running the ac. Btw, the furnace exhaust to the outside, zero moisture goes inside.
An RV furnace does not put off a fair amount of moisture, in fact it doesn't put off any at all. The entire propane burn chamber is isolated. The furnace fan blows air across the heat exchanger tubes inside the furnace. Both the intake AND exhaust port are on the exterior of the RV and any moisture produced by the propane burning is exhausted outside the RV.
We picked up a new travel trailer in northern Indiana in the dead of winter a few years ago. It was 6° and snowing- which covered the ice in the parking lot when I stepped out to take a nice photo of the new rig! Yup! Fell right on my bum, lol. Be careful up there!
Oh my goodness! I'm sure you laugh about it now, but I bet it wasn't funny then! lol. Definitely sounds like something I (Victoria) would do 🤣 We aren't used to all the snow and ice

we went on the road for 4 months and made one reservation. did a rv factory tour and had a lot of questions as to why they did things like use an 1 1/2 " screw where a 1/2" screw would have worked an why they used staples to hold the backing for the ladder atachments. anyway we had a great trip from Nova Scotia to California and back. Safe travels and that was only a few flurries.
We visited Rose Island when we were in Louisville last year and it was the first time that I crashed my drone. I ran it right into the Rose Island sign as you cross the bridge. That hike back up the hill was not super fun but I am not sure that it is worth all of the signage warning people not to go down.
Since your going to be in northern Indiana check out Maumee Bay State park. Lovely beach front state park very nice and inexpensive. If stay in ohio area Hocking Hill State park is can not miss. Hocking Hill you will need advanced reservations. We area going to Hocking hills in May and Maumee Bay in late April. They have great zoo in Toledo while at Maumee
Really enjoying your adventures. Not just your locations and the campgrounds but also enjoying everything having to do about your Brinkley. I just bought the same model. It is now being prepped for pick up on 13 March. Oh yeah, love your pups too!
So Craig, I have a 2023 F350 that has aggressive lane centering and adaptive cruise control. The adaptive cruise control is amazing with towing. Unfortunately, the lane centering feature is disabled when town. I due use both features when not towing and it’s really nice. I imagine it will be a long time before, they have something self driving while towing.

We don't get snow near Atlanta, but snow is beautiful! Don't blame you a bit for using the crate. Our pup rode in his puppy crate until he outgrew it, now we tether him in the backseat. When do the pups realize it's a travel day? Just before leaving or as you're beginning to prepare for the move or when? We're creatures of routine so Rusty knows from our routine. It's good to have a hoodie/jacket for the pups. Safe travels!
Craig I’m 100% with you on the self driving truck: We pull a Grand Design with a Ford 250 Super Duty and I just told my wife the same thing. She thinks I’m crazy!
Love your videos! And Leland and Maverick are so cute. Craig, great job on the weight loss (fellow runner here!) Can't wait to see what you get done to the Brinkley. We have a Rockwood 5th wheel and those bridges are always sketchy!😂
Thank you it has been a challenge to continue every other day with the running, but it has definitely been worth it. I'm thinking of moving it to 7 miles here soon.
Team gloves, heavens no on the self driving truck. We live in Ohio and the sun is rare in the winter. We have become quite accustomed to winter camping! You’ll enjoy the RV hall of fame!
As A retired Professional long haul truck driver. I have driven amost 3,000,000 miles around the U.S. and Canada. I would advise getting a Trucker Atlas as the roads are marked for trucks. Also exept in New York the bridges are marked acuractly, In New York they are actually marked lower than they actually are. Follow the big semis and you should be OK.

@wildrvlife. We have camped at Charlestown state park a lot. We live about 45 minutes from there in Seymour. We go there a couple times a year. A lot of nice campgrounds around this area.
I have self driving on my 2022 Ram 2500. With any of the 5 gen rams if you have adaptive cc and lane keep assist you can get Comma Ai that gives it self driving. It works very well on the highway. It is also getting better and better. I had it on my 2020 Ram 1500 which was even better. If you don't have adaptive cc and lane keep it can be added on.
From Louisville and we've stayed at Charlestown State Park before. Pretty nice park. Definitely very hilly, though, especially the trek to and from Rose Island. Glad you enjoyed it!
I hope you did that 13'6" for production quality. Could you imagine your trip if you were one inch off. We use rvlife trip wizard first to check for low clearance. Then we know where google needs to route us - if google is going to get "clever" we break it into stops that we can control the route. Like we might say go to x-town post office, and just before we get off freeway we then say - go to y-town truckstop. etc
Your production quality is absolutely excellent, and you’re nice people.
Thank you so much!

True that. Or open a couple of windows.
We try to stop at Petro or T/A stations when we need fuel. Their discounts are usually higher than Loves or most other station.Excellent video!!
Can’t wait to follow along with you guys to Alaska! Also, we toured the RV Hall of Fame last year while in Indiana doing some battery upgrades on our van and loved it! Safe travels!
We are looking forward to checking out the museum still. We've heard that it's super interesting! and thank you!!
WOW! RV HALL OF SHAME! WHO MAKES THIS CRAP UP? DID YOU COUNT THE NUMBER OF METH HEADS AT THE RV HALL OF FAME? JUST WONDERING...ALSO HAVE YOU SEEN THE BUILD QUALITY OF PRETTY MUCH ALL RVs?
Oh and “escited” rather than excited. It’s the X that he doesn’t use. That’s funny! We know you love both do your fur babies equally. 😍
You Both make it easy for people to Follow You on Your Adventures. Snow to me is amazing. But in NC we don't get that much. Hope You both stay Blessed and Well.
Thank you so much so much for watching! We really appreciate it!
Great viedo, not far from me in southern illinois,God bless!!🎉❤
Sometimes the road has been overlayed with asphalt that can make the clearance off by a 3 to 4 inches. Good to be cautious.
Thanks!
thank you so much!! ❤️
Awesome video. Overpasses gives me the Ono feeling. If you don't hear the crash then pedal down.
Haha exactly!!
Since you’re in northern Indiana how about doing a meet and greet for your northern fans. I live less than 100 miles from there and would love to meet you both.
We will see what we can do if time is permitted. It is a very busy time right now. However, I would love to meet you guys.
@@wildrvlife hopefully time will allow and the repairs go smoothly for you.
I believe GM’s super cruise feature work when trailering.
I don't think they have it in a 1 ton yet, but I am keeping an eye on it for sure.
The GMC Denali Ultimate also has vibrating seats for those long trips. I have the AT4 and that’s the only thing I wish it had. The cruise while towing is amazing!
And I was going to ask if you were using a fuel discount. Thank for the info👏
Once again, great video guys. Thanks for sharing.💜💜💜💜
Thanks for watching!
My sister and I did the G3500 tour and loved it. We also got two free coffee mugs and tee shirts.
That's awesome! All the people we have run into at brinkley so far have been extremely nice.
There is a dry mode on the thermostat controls, that is supposed to help with dehumidifying. Haven’t tried it out yet.
We have tried it. It still blows cold air, so if it's cold, it's not great to have to use, really.
We take our dog EVERYWHERE too. I learned from friends at the local dog part that here in Ohio the dog needs to secured. There is a 450 ticket if the dog is in the back, $100 if the dog is in the front.
Wow, I had no idea. Good info.
Mistype: $50 for the backseat, $100 for front seat. It does make sense, auto accidents can happen do to dogs getting in the way.
Thank you for taking my mind off everything else. :-)
I enjoy watching you guys every Sunday :-)
And in between :-)
❤️❤️❤️
thank you so much for coming along on our adventures with us!
On my gosh, I wish I had known. I’m less than 10 miles away from Toney. I dont have hook ups but you could park at our place…… anytime. We watch you guys all the time.
I almost lost my snack when I saw you go under the 13’’ 6” overpass 😂 🤪
It was a little nerve wracking for sure
I'm picking up a brinkley this week, and this made me have second thoughts.
Watching from Louisville KY. Love your videos. Hope 65 N has cleared some of the construction detours. It was rough last year.
It was rough but not too terrible with detours.
Oh my gosh! I'm glad you made it. Low bridges are probably might worst rving nightmare.
Your fur babies are so adorable! I think that every week but when Maverick put his hand on Craig! And Leland in his hoodie ❤
Haha!! They have such personalities.
GMC Denali is the best!!! We love the self drive mode even hauling our RV and Pontoon/trailer to the lake.
I do think they are leading the way in trucks. However, none have it in a 1 ton yet. I've been keeping my eye on them though.
Gold Paw! Check out their fleeces for the pups! They are the best and just enough for dogs that don’t need thick jackets. Easy to put on (face the seam out!). Furley truly loves his every winter. They last FOREVER and you can layer two if needed.
Back home Again. for your camper. I am from Indiana. Wonderful place to be born and raised up to jr hgih school age. I clicked. Thanks guys
lol yep, back to where it originally came from! This has been our first time in Indiana and we've had a really nice time, thanks for watching!
25 miles south of Indy is the Johnson County Park. They have a large, level campground only 5 miles off of I-65, at Edinburgh.
Great job guys!
Thank you so much!
Clicked.
Our rv just came to Vancouver from Goshen!!!
That's awesome! Which model did you get?
@@wildrvlife oooo we didn’t get the Brinkley! TMI even though I made my husband touch the cabinetry while I oooood and ahhhhd.
2024 Cougar 23mle
I think we need to camp in Pt. Roberts, Washington this summer……. You must dip your toes in The Pacific Ocean …trust me!
Pt. Robert’s has quite the history…you will find an article in the #nationalgeographic postal code edition!!!
But…I like to
We told RV Life GPS that our Brinkley was 13’ 6” tall so as to avoid these types of “too close for comfort” situations.
I call that flurries. Kinda like sprinkling and not raining…. lol
☔️
My wife and I rented a class c recently. Our first RV outing. We arrived in the dark and had to set up, for the first time ever, in the dark.
I have a head lamp, so that helped.
Love your content.
God bless!
See you out there sooon.
lol well that's what they call jumping in feet first as an RVer right there! 🤣 I Thanks so much for watching and hope to see you on the road! God Bless!
When I heard bad roads I figured you were on I65. We just did that Indiana to gulf shores with our travel trailer via I65 and that road is an absolute disaster…especially through Tennessee.
It is so terrible and that's before you even bring up the construction!.
Good job y’all. Stay warm and take care of the pooch
thank you so much!
GM Supercruise is phenomenal. Sadly only offered on 1500 series, but I love towing with it!
Drove from Destin to Nashville last Friday. Went to Grand Old Opry last night. Heading home to Ontario tomorrow. Love your channel. Picking up new Brinkley in the Spring.
Oh how cool! That Grand Old Opry is one that we still haven't gotten to do yet, one day! Safe travels tomorrow and thank you for watching!
I love in Goshen and the weather is pretty nice, 67 degrees today, 60s the rest of the week. Rain on Tuesday. Safe travels 😁.
Awww, I think I was with you when you bought Leland’s first sweater!! 😄
Was that when we first met?
@@wildrvlife If it's the sweater I'm remembering it was during beet harvest in North Dakota. 😁
@@OpenRoading LOL well I (Victoria) remember exactly when I bought it and it was when we went to Fargo together at the beet harvest 😆 the first response was clearly Craig, who claims he thought we had the sweater longer than that 😂
@@wildrvlife 😂
Yes, I know exactly what your stomach and body felt going under that bridge. I had a few inches clearance in Texas 2 years ago.
Great video guys I love the state park y’all stayed at and the abandoned amusement park and I can’t wait to see where you guys are gonna stay while your camper is being fixed ..
It was such a unique state park! Thanks for joining us this week and we're looking forward to showing you where we end up next week!
GMC is advertising the self driving truck and even have a commercial out showing it. Maybe something to look into (and yes, I am a GMC fanboy).
I have looked into lol. They don't have it in the 1 ton yet.
@@wildrvlife Well, with your celebrity status, maybe you should give them a little nudge :)
Craig, not sure you'll read this but just a little sump'en on your comment about all that driven. Just be thankful your not driving the old 60's and 70's pickups towing a trailer today, you got it made with today trucks.😂 I love my 1 ton Ram pulling my camper with no complaints.
.....safe traveling
Haha, I can only imagine. I had an 86 cj7 jeep. Hopefully, the trucks steered better than that thing.
We are heading back to Goshen in a couple weeks from Ohio to pick up my dad’s as he calls it Junk-co, slide issues again. Don’t think I’ve ever seen so many campers. Safe travels
It's so crazy how many you see there! It was so funny seeing all the factories of the brands we recognize
we went on the road for 4 months and made one reservation. did a rv factory tour and had a lot of questions as to why they did things like use an 1 1/2 " screw where a 1/2" screw would have worked an why they used staples to hold the backing for the ladder atachments. anyway we had a great trip from Nova Scotia to California and back.
Fun little travel vid. Buckle up we see some big fun things coming your way.
Thank you! All great info, we will have to remember these spots to check out.
Alaska! Talking about cold, bring sweaters even for the the Alaska summers the evenings can be chilly.
Really enjoying your adventures. Not just your locations and the campgrounds but also enjoying everything having to do about your Brinkley. I just bought the same model. It is now being prepped for pick up on 13 March. Oh yeah, love your pups too!
I have blue cruise and love it. Would take a bit to get faith with towing but I like it as a second set of eyes on the road.
We’re Florida people too!!! I’ve never even owned a snow shovel, wouldn’t know how to crank it up!!!
We’re heading north too, but not until August!!
Lol!! we've never used a snow shovel in our lives 🤣 we don't know what to do when it starts snowing
Oooh!! Upgrades too??!! I can't wait!! ❤
I just hope we are able to get the upgrades we want!
@@wildrvlife oh, me too! ❤️
I do think the same would happen with most other self driving vehicles. It would disable that feature when towing.
Hi guy's...told you that you were headed to Indiana...13'6" is legal hight for all Vehicles...when we worked...we were always over dimensions..big time...thanks for the video...stay safe...J&A2ofus
Thanks for the info! and thank you for watching!!
Here in Canada today in Saskatchewan its minus 19 and 40 cm of snow today. Freezing rain last night. Hiways are screwed here.minus 35 c over night tonight.
Oh my goodness, now that's cold!! I can't imagine trying to drive in weather like that 😳
68 in south west Michigan today 72 tomorrow. We are 40 some inches below normal for snowfall so far.
Team gloves!!! I am excited about seeing the Hall of Fame! Thank you for watching.
You guys were literally in our back yard. Well, not literally but close enough! CTown State Park is nice and Rose Island is a nice hike.
Oh man, what a small world! We did really enjoy our short stay there!
I saw the self towing truck the other day I believe it’s a GMC but better order today
They do have one, but it's not in the 1ton yet!
We did Alaska last year. Have fun we did and we’re going back again and 25. If you need any tips, let me know.
Hi. My name is Polly and I don’t know if you remember but I met you at the Tampa RV show with Switch It Up. I live outside of Crawfordville. Anyway, I just discovered the RUclips channel Open Road and realize y’all are friends.(Jo and Kaylen)I’ve been binge-watching their videos. Have safe and fun travels and hope we can meet up sometime on the road or back at home.
Yes!! Love Kalyn and Joseph! We met them a while back in 2022 and have been great friends ever since. and also yes!! I remember chatting with you, I can't remember if I told you that I actually grew up in Crawfordville.. lol it's such a small world!
@@wildrvlife yes, you did tell me that you are from Crawfordville. That is still so surprising. 😊
@wildrvlife. We have camped at Charlestown state park a lot. We live about 45 minutes from there in Seymour. We go there a couple times a year. A lot of nice campgrounds around this area.
We have definitely liked the Open Roads program and found it helped us get a cheaper cost at most fill-ups
You were fortunate that it was a milder winter this year up North
for real! everyone has been saying that it's been unusually warm
Egg roll bowl looked amazing! How are you liking your new Gen-Y gooseneck? Look forward to your Brinkley video next week, safe travels.
From Louisville and we've stayed at Charlestown State Park before. Pretty nice park. Definitely very hilly, though, especially the trek to and from Rose Island. Glad you enjoyed it!
yes, that hill back up from Rose Island was quite the hike! We really liked how they had the campground set up though, it was great!
I hope you did that 13'6" for production quality. Could you imagine your trip if you were one inch off. We use rvlife trip wizard first to check for low clearance. Then we know where google needs to route us - if google is going to get "clever" we break it into stops that we can control the route. Like we might say go to x-town post office, and just before we get off freeway we then say - go to y-town truckstop. etc
