Single Barrel #5146 is the best Barrell Bourbon I've ever had by far. I bought 2 bottles in 2020, still have half a bottle. 107.44 proof 14yrs old. I have/had Bottles 31 and 32. Also have blend batches 21, 24 and 27. 27 was the weakest in quality, too medicinal. Also have a bottle of Armida. Which I didn't care for at all until I let it breathe for a long time and sat it in the light for about a year. Which you shouldn't do, unless you want to change them. No one ever talks about that, your bourbons and scotches will change in UV over time. Substantially too.
Mine got bronze! Not too shabby, and I was hoping 34 did well. I just started with Barrell last year, but I was hearing so many good things, I just had to try. Cheers!
For me, Barrel batch #33 has been my favorite, and I really like #34 and Vantage. I hear #32 is sweeter and I am going to pick one of them up. Also looking forward to the #35. 🥃
lol c I have enjoyed all the Barrell pours I have had. SO would be hard to go wrong with this blind all are winners. Now you can do an imposter with a few Barrell pours and something else too. cheers buddy.
Just tried a single barrel store pick. Paid$90 and was not impressed. Too many offerings, they need to find the best blend and bottle that. So many blends just confuses the customer.
Which one of these is the most approachable for someone new to drinking this? Tastes good and is easy to drink neat?

28 is the best
To each his own. A lot of people would say that Batch 35 is the best.
Very true
Man! Now I wish I could find a batch 31!! Good stuff
Cheers!
Interesting results. Blinds tell the truth they’re all good though
Yes they do James!
Seagrass is goat
Need some Dovetail and Seagrass! But still a fun blind 🤘🏽

Cheers Mark!
Yes! Been waiting for this one. Love watching you get plastered too 😂
Awesome blind. Can't go wrong with any of those bottles. Cheers!
Cheers Steve!
Great blind. Barrel has so many releases it is hard to keep up with. I now know to look out for 31 or 34. Thanks for doing the heavy lifting
Good stuff. Glad I have a backup of 31 🥃😎🤘
Great blind bud. I love Barrell products.
Me too 🤪

I just love them all lol but some are definitely better than others
@@EverydayDrinker My local liquor store had some bottles of #32 left and I picked one up to compare. I tend to like the sweeter bourbons.

Question, whats your monthly whiskey budget?
I give myself 250-300 a month
Thanks for sharing - cheers!
Cheers!
I gotta stop sleeping on barrel, but their is just so much whiskey out there, what can ya do? Cheers pal
Cheers brotha!
Toasted barrel strength

I’m not a fan of the single barrels. I highly highly recommend doing a batch or getting a group or store pick that is a blend and not a single barrel
Barrell has some exceptional RYE bottlings as well. None in your collection..?!?!
Not at the moment. Like I keep saying I’m just starting to dabble in Rye and I’ll be sure to get some Barrell offerings
This guy shaking it like it’s wine. Smell with the glass being flat not angled. ( edit that’s how I was taught to do tastings)
Everyone has their own technique brotha cheers!
@@EverydayDrinker I just thought it was funny the guy that was doing the tour made fun of my aunt bc she’s a wine drinker and she did that
