A comparison of Xiaoyu's Tekken moves with real Bagua Zhang techniques and Angela Mao Ying's film performances.

This is really cool, great job with the editing.
I recently watched Enter the Dragon for the first time and the whole sequence with Angela was definitely a highlight of the film. It never would have occurred to me she is the inspiration for Xiaoyu though so thanks for making this! I'll have to check out some of her other films
Hey thanks, I appreciate the compliment. I first learned about Angela Mao being the inspiration for Xiaoyu when renting some Kung-Fu films back in the day. It became clear that the Tekken staff watches a lot of Martial Arts movies.
I didn't realize that baguazhan translated into what nejis technique is based on... even though I knew the stances were similar and likely no coincidence
#XiaoyuForever 💗
Xiaoyu is just the princess of Tekken.
Xiǎoyǔ is my favourite along with Julia and King
Awesome videos man. I just ran into this by chance
awesome video! 💖
Awesome video!
Great video!
Thank you very much
I only knew Bāguà Zhǎng since Ashra (Mortal Kombat), Shàng Qì (Marvel) and a baker (Kung Fu Hustle). Didn't know Xiǎoyǔ was specialised in this fighting style.
1:01 I see Chun Li do that downward chopping arm move in Street fighter 6
What are the OST’s used in the video? In particular the last one
The first is Xiaoyu's T3 Arcade theme. The second is Xiaoyu's TTT Console theme. The last is Tekken 3 - Seven Remixes: Ling Xiaoyu (Jelly Jelly Remix).
@@baronwest thank you sm!
Sad to say a lot of these would be impractical in a fight
The best fighting style, is all of them combined. I personally think that this style is good for faints.
Who cares
This fighting style looks exhausting 😅
🐻interestin’ bagua zhang will dat explain neji from naruto moves ya heard me
Try Shàng Qì (Marvel) and Airbender
Listening to this ps2 music again reminds of when Kim bong min
r@ , ped ryan hart at evo2003 badly.
I've trained both Kung Fu and Wing Chun for a few years in the past. It's good fun and it looks cool, but Chinese martial arts is just terribly impractical.
I was fans of Ling Xiaoyou Tekken, but sadly Xiaoyu wasn`t strong character in the game, because its only tier C character (According to Pro Tekken Player like Arslan Ash or MainManSWE)
You will have more fun playing Tekken if you pick the character you enjoy playing, rather than pick a character who is considered top tier that you don't like as much. Tiers are a reference for tournament players but they don't determine match outcomes, players do. Gen, one of the best players in Japan used Leroy and Fahkumram (two top tiers), and still lost to Piyohiko's Xiaoyu. Play the character that motivates you, and you will enjoy Tekken a lot more.
@@baronwest : Agreed :)
There are tons of good Xiaoyu players that reached Tekke god
I play her and find her to be really strong at times, she doesn’t do much damage off small strings but she has a lot of potential from being able to reset combos a lot of the time
if it's MainManSWE, i wouldn't be surprised if he puts Xiaoyu at that tier. he has always been a Xiaoyu hater when i watch his videos
I'm a Xiaoyu player and love her immensely but all these flowery moves are useless.
These guys would get their a$$ handed to them against a real fighter.
Real fighting is ugly and not fun to watch
