I’m not one to comment on RUclips videos, but to followed this recipe for my first time every hanging a go at bread making and it turned out AMAZING. My husband ate half the loaf as soon as I pulled it out of the oven. Can’t wait to play with different flavors!
Making this foccacia right now... I've made it many times before but I just can't get enough of this delicious goodness!! Even had a weekend getaway with a bunch of couples and taught all the women how to make this recipe while playing games and enjoying wine and we had bread and dip to snack on all weekend! Everyone topped theirs a little different so we got to sample a little bit of everyone's and we were very close to a fresh olive oil infusion / Balsamic vinegar shop so we all bought a few bottles and it made it that much more diverse and fun! Great weekend! Great recipe!
I am Mrs. Doug Tucker and just followed your video and recipe and my focaccia came out golden brown. I baked it for 18 minutes via Convection and addes Kalamata olives. I purchased the William and Sonoma cake pan and a gem. I am planning a dinner party and will also serve you Chicken Parmesan and your Zucchini casserole dish to accompany this Focaccia!!!!
I've made this several times now. It turns out perfect every time and everyone in the family LOVES it. The fresh rosemary makes the whole house smell so good!! Such a great recipe!
I made this exactly as written and this as is, bar none, the best Focaccia I ever ate anywhere. It needs a lazy afternoon when you'll be home to do the dough stretching, etc., but the outcome is top shelf, truly. It is soft and moist inside, with lots of air bubbles, and the crusts on either side are crispy and crunchy to cut into. Don't skip good finishing salt on top - I added mine after the bake simply because I forgot to add before. It was and is DELICOUS! With crusts off, sliced horizontally it yields eight, 4x3" rectangles for superb Italian sammies. But, truth to tell, next time I might bake it, slice into fingers, and just eat the damned thing dipped in EVOO and Balsamic. FYI, my dough looked wetter, slacker, and stickier than Natasha's through the whole process, but in the end it was just terrific. Thanks Natasha for this great share!
I have made this bread twice already in a weeks time and it's amazing, I have been trying to find a recipe of focaccia bread that my husband actually likes and this is IT...I love ALL your recipes.Thank you
Hands down the best foccacia ever! I am italian and have been making foccacia for years. I never could quite get it, there is this really good Italian restaurant nearby that I go to and their foccacia is amazing and this one was a spitting image of it! I also mixed thyme and salted butter to make an amazing butter for it (not like it needs it though). Thank you for this recipe!!!!
I just made this today for the first time, and followed Natasha‘s recipe exactly with the exception of adding a bit more rosemary. It turned out perfectly! Thank you for such a wonderful recipe, and I’m going to make this again and again.
5 Star Focaccia Bread! This bread is amazing! I made it for my County Fair and won First Place and Best of Show!!! Thank you Natasha for the great recipe! Even my 12 year old daughter can make it on her own with no problems. I always weigh the flour because it gives better accuracy. Start this in the morning and by dinner time you will have a delicious bread! It goes great with ANY Italian dinner. Tonight I’m making it with Natasha’s Creamy Feta Pasta Bake! Thanks again Natasha! My family really loves this bread!
I am making focaccia two days in a row. The first try wasn't successful, I have to add that it was different recipe. But this one is simply THE BEST! My family loved it. Thank you, Natasha!
Just an FYI to anyone who makes this recipe. I made it two ways, measured out 470 grams flour and the next time I used my measuring cups. 2 very different amounts of flour, and if you use the grams, you'll actually have a wetter dough. 3 level cups of flour is about 470 with the flour I use ( Brand: Wheat Montana Farms & Bakery's Natural White Premium All Purpose Flour)
Another Home Run Natasha! I made this earlier tonight and it was a hit! Only difference, instead of the Garlic and Rosemary topping, I went with caramelized onions, sliced pears, blue cheese crumbles, and thin sliced blue cheese bratwurst. But the Focaccia bread I followed your recipe to a T and it was wonderful! Thank you for another great recipe I'll be using again.
Let me tell you... my mom made this when I was younger and omgosh, so amazing! rosemary, olive oil and a little salt and pepper on top is so good!!! Mmmm 😋
My family enjoyed our focaccia dinner this evening... Thank you Natasha for your easy to follow recipe. It was my first time to make it and it turned out perfect, tall, crispy and soft. I love your recipes because they always turn out perfect even on my first try ☺️
I just made this recipe for the second time. Used 25% whole wheat flour+ caramelized onions on top before dimpling. OMG....out of this world! THANK YOU!!!!!
By far the best I have made. I have made it for a restaurant service and people said it was the best bread they ever had. Not just focaccia. Thanks so much. You are very professional. I use a lot of your recipes.
Been making this every couple of days, comes out perfect every time! I usually double up on the measurements and make a huge loaf with sundried tomatoes and olives pressed in. Decided to stuff the center with parma ham and provolone cheese today. About to go in the oven right now. Wish me luck 😆
made this last night/yesterday and it was absolutely delicious - added some black olives/crispy onion biits and rosemary/garlic - THE BEST and not hard to do LOVE IT - thx for this recipe
I always eyeballed my focaccia, gonna give this recipe a try and probably will become my favorite as all your recipes. You're officially the Carb queen of youtube:)
I tried this recipe for the first time today, using 100% whole wheat flour (+ a little extra warm water) - I made 2 batches and they turned out beautifully and deliciously. (Measured 470g of whole wheat flour, baked at 450 degrees, 22 minutes, nice and crispy) Thank you for sharing this recipe - God BLESS you 🙏
This focaccia recipe turned out so well the first time I made it. I'm making it for the second time today and turning it into a detroit style pizza. Channels like yours are the reason I love cooking so much! Your recipes are so amazing and easy to follow. They're basically fool proof. Looking forward to what you have in store for 2022! Then I do all the same things, but I use around 5 cloves of garlic that I slice thing but not too small that you can actually see them on top. They get fried bc of the oil. Then I just tear off small sections of a couple sprigs of rosemary and uniformly place them so they’re around 2 inches apart from each other, and have a slice of garlic on each side. Then I use the good EVOO again and I drizzle it all over the top, I also use chopsticks to put dimples in because they go all the way to the bottom. After it comes out of the oven, drizzle a tiny bit of fresh oil on it. It’s also amazing if you roast a few heads of garlic whole, then squeeze it all out, chop and mash it into a paste, then after the bread is ready, add some EVOO to the roasted garlic and paint the top with it, and I always add the rosemary and fresh cracked pepper and I use finishing salt. Sun dried tomatoes are also an amazing addition. Focaccia is the best
