All of you who thumbs down, what is your problem? If you do not like, you do not need to look. I think you're mean. Do something positive. Do not spread negativity around you. Gina is a person who is so full of love and kindness. She deserves nothing but thumbs up!
Don't pay attention to these with the thumbs down. They don't mean it. They are bored and have no life and want a reaction which they get from people who comment about them. They don't give or take anything away. Surely Gina and the family understand that or she would not be on social media. I love her and I've learned a lot from her. She is very warm and loving. I relax watching her cooking and singing. So happy her family put her on RUclips.
BEST cooking video I've ever watched. It's like being with your mother in her kitchen. She's not trying to make a video... she's just sharing her world. The love that she puts into her focaccia is Hallelujah! I don't care how long the video is... 26 minutes... I want to be in her kitchen every day. "Thats a nica color".. and her song is the best of the best. Whomever you are that are the videographers (of your mother or grandmother) You are AWESOME... that you let her do her thing and didn't interrupt her at all - it makes the process PURE AND NATURAL. Amore.
Gina, I'm so grateful for your channel for 2 reasons. One mostly for my mother who is 84 and watches your show and it keeps her company through this pandemic. We sometimes sit together and watch you, and talk about how much we love everything you make! I especially love when you sing, it reminds me of my father who passed away. He loved to sing every chance he had. Thank you so much and your are doing a wonderful job. One day hopefully my mom would love to meet you. It would blow her mind if you said hi to her in one of your episodes, her name is Antonietta from Clayton, NC. God bless you and your family xoxox!

Singing in remembrance of her father and how happy he was, choked me up so bad. When a father is happy and proud of his children it really is a magical moment. Ciao Miss Gina. I am a 70 year old African American man with a love and passion for cooking/baking. I have recently developed a love of Italian/Sicilian cuisine and have been following several channels but always find myself coming back to Buon-A-Petitti to see how you would prepare it. I enjoy how you treasure and share your connection to your parents/grandparents and delight in the stories you often tell. Please don't stop singing, the joy you express is contagious!
In times when I'm in a crisis or my back is against the wall I head for the kitchen and cook for others. In you, dear Gina, I found the perfect character for the cook. Thank you for warming my heart and giving me hope in the human race.
When I was young my family moved to a small suburban neighborhood. Lots of new friends & cultures! One family was Italian, Neapolitano. Their nana lived a short way aways from us (in little Italy). All day Saturday she shopped & cooked. Sunday her son-in- law went to her place & brought her and all the delicious food to her daughter’s home. After church we always went to see what Momma Icano made for us! All day the food was on the table & anyone who came ate! Her granddaughters had no interest in cooking, but I did, so she taught me a few things. I love your voice & accent & food. It brought me right back to my childhood! I love it so much, all those wonderful times. Gracias!
You are such a joy Gina - not only to listen to you sing but to watch you lovingly make things you made when growing up and remembering your family - I wish you could adopt me! 😊

I made this Gina, for the first time in my life! And I am 76!! It was fantastic!! So so delicious!! Thank you so very much for sharing your love of cooking with us!! God bless you!!💖
This is my “Go To” and my first time using this recipe years ago. My adult kids absolutely love it! And sometimes I sing , “Oh Marie!” When I make it!❤ Thank you for sharing your cherished Grandma with us!!
I love how Gina uses the simplest tools to cook, like the fork and bowl to mash the potatoes. Nothing fancy, just like my Grandma in the 1950s. No need to buy fancy or expensive appliances. You’re amazing Gina!
Ciao Gina My family is from Italy and immigrated to Canada after the war. I was born here in Canada. Must say that I have tried many focaccia recipes and all of them good, very good actually but yours is my favorite by far. I have made it several times now and each time it comes out wonderful. My parents who are now 92 and 98 years old enjoy yours the most. God bless you and your family and thank you very much for sharing these wonderful recipes.
Usually when I see a long video I just skip it, but with you Madame it’s time well spent. I encourage you to keep up your good work. You remind me of my own grandmother. God bless you both.
Thank you so much for a beautiful tribute to your papa. I bake with the grandkids any chance I get (not much now, but things will be better someday!). When the dough is 'gramma perfect' i say 'Now we DANCE!' And we dance for our lives and tumble down laughing. Make memories if you don't have your own. Like Gina! We LOVE you!
My mum cried when watching this video seeing how you think of your father all the time, beautiful memories and connection with food ❤ God bless you too 🙏
I love watching how she works the dough & touches it with her hands. So beautiful. So gentle. Reaching in, going to the bottom, lifting up & turning. It is important to know how to ‘help’ the dough rise. Love that she uses the same plastic & towel to cover. Thanking you for sharing these important steps. She is reliving her memories of her family making this important bread throughout her lifetime. It is a honor that she shares this with all of us. Her prayer over working the dough, her voice telling us how to ‘touch the bottom’ when dimpling. It is the voice of her mother & grandmother. Her song of happiness as the bread cooks. What a beautiful gift. God bless you.
Hello Italian Grandma Gina, just checking in to make sure you are well and feeling really good. I am going to make another Focaccia right after I send you this thank you message. Since I watched this video I have made Focaccia many times. I have altered your recipe slightly by adding fresh garlic slivers into the dough. Also, I started using a ratio of 3/4 bread flour and 1/4 whole wheat flour which gives it an interesting depth in flavor. I have to confess that last week I tried someone else's Focaccia recipe. Absolutely NO good came from that experiment. My hubby made me promise to NEVER EVER again use another Focaccia recipe except yours. He did not have to twist my arm, I wholeheartedly agreed. That's it for now, Gina, I'm off to the kitchen. Wishing you wellness and that The Universe watch over and protect you and everyone near and dear to you, always. Again, many many thanks for this spectacular Five Start Recipe. * * * * *
I lived in Oakland, CA when I was young and we lived in a neighborhood where our neighbors were almost all related Italians. There were two bakeries, Bon Gusto and Genoas, where my father would go and pick up different flavored focaccia and bring home a few slabs for us. It was great with salami and prosciutto. I have tried making focaccia many times but have been unsuccessful but I think if I follow your instructions I might have it turn out to my satisfaction. Yours has the texture with all of the nooks and crannies that I am looking for. Yours turned out beautiful! I loved the beautiful heartfelt song you sang too.
I was just trying to come up with a new meal to make for our Sunday dinner when your notification popped up. Thank you Grandma! Your the best!!! xoxoxo 😘 Who els loves how she says Olive Olio 😊
Great video as always, love Grandma! She reminds me of my 84 year old Mexican mom who still cooks on old beat up pans and kitchen items and refuses to change. Her food has always been and continues to be excellent.

You sang one of the most romantic Neapolitan songs beautifully (oh, Marie). I was moved. You are such an angel in cooking and singing. An Italian grandfather. Thanks from Italy.
I wanted to chime in and say something practical about this channels recipes - They work and well. I've made a few of her recipes and all have turned out incredible. Try them. Definitely try her Ciambotta or her Zucchini Parmigiana. So far they are all great and she teaches so easily how to make them; the mark of a truly great teacher.

Senora you are a treasure. You always bring a smile to my face. My aunt speaks italian fluently, she lived in Firenze for 30 years. She cooks like a Goddess. like you.
Nice to see someone from Grottaminarda. Both my parents were born in Gesualdo but when they married, they moved to Grottaminarda, where they had a house, and my brothers were born. They were farmers, so I doubt they spent much time in town, however that is where they attended church, purchased what they could not grow or make themselves etc. I am first generation Canadian, living in Toronto, Ontario and have never visited the old country, but plan to take my entire family in a few years time. This region of Italy is especially musical and as the only girl in the family, I remember my father, to my irritation, singing Oh Marie every chance he had. What I would give to hear his lovely voice once again. Good memories.
Thank you for your most delightful presentation. I would love to cook with you, you make the experience so uplifting and happy. I could hear your Father's joy in your voice, what a great memory filled with love. God bless and keep you shining as a light to the world!
Hello Gina. Always good to see you. When we get a certain age, it's so good to remember, and better to have someone to appreciate our memories. I love to hear you for your memories while you cook.
Señora Gina, you're food is so beautiful! When you pulled the focaccia out of the oven and sang your fathers song, a tear came to my eye. Thank you for sharing your gifts from the kitchen with so much love with us all. Mille grazie!
Salve, Gina! In ITALIA, s'intende!! Ti auguro ogni bene e un Natale super felice! (So che è presto, ma in caso che dimentico .) Un abbraccio affettuoso, Mary
I made this today with lots of garlic confit and fire roasted tomatoes. Came out so yummy! Thank you! You remind me so much of my little grandma also from Italy, and we are also in NJ. God bless you!

I just went to Italy and I am craving focaccia but would only take a recipe from an Italian nonna, and I found my nonna! Grazie Mille! ❤
I could feel her genuine love and passion when she makes her Foccacia. Grazie, Nonna❤️❤️❤️
I adore this woman and her songs. Thank you dear lady for the recipe, and the song. God bless you.
omg- you are the sweetest little grandma ever!!!!
Ohh, I love that singing!
I wish I had a Mother like you. Thankyou for the joy and skills.
Thank you for always sharing so much love, especially when you were singing it made me cry. ; ) Love you, love your faith, love your food, love your singing, love everything here.❤️
My husband just walked by and saw me watching this video. He has asked that I make it...today! I am excited to try this! I won't forget to "sing the love" in it. Thank you, Nana Gina!😀
I hope it turns out delicious, Sarah!
A Work of Art!
Well miss Gina. I made it and it was gorgeous, everyone in my family came back for seconds! Thanks again and keep being you, I'm going to be watching all your videos as you are such a treat to watch . BTW I'm in Yorkshire in England 🇬🇧 xx
The nona's were very busy caring for their family. The care and love in preparing the food. I miss watching my nona.
Gina, Thank you! GOD BLESS YOUR HANDS!!!
Grandma Gina! Grazie mille per il video! This made me smile, something I've really needed. I love good food and this is a wonderful escape from the challenging reality of this current year. Although all my grandparents have been gone more than 30 years, I still miss them. God bless you and your family!
My Nonna put the potato in her focaccia, too! The way you talk and the songs you sing, you remind me so much of her. She's my angel in Heaven, now, but watching your videos makes me feel close to her again, God bless you!
Signora Gina Come sei BRAVA!!!! I love watching you cook and teach the next generation of people who love and enjoy authentic Italian food. My Mom is Nonna Josie and she too had taught her five grandchildren our tradition of Sicilian food! God Bless you and your wonderful family. Abondanza!!!
I love this woman, she is absolutely the best!
I made this today and it was fantastic.....I can not express accurately how much these videos mean to me. Gina makes me so happy, she is a great instructor. Her singing moves my soul. I think I have watched 75% of her videos so far an vow to watch them all ! She makes me so happy. Thank you for sharing your grandma with those of us who miss our own. God Bless !!
Senora you are a treasure. You always bring a smile to my face. My aunt speaks italian fluently, she lived in Firenze for 30 years. She cooks like a Goddess. like you.
My father was from Grottaminarda and my mother from Mirabella Eclano, Province of Avellino.
Thank you for the wonderful memories!
I would bet you have a lot of good recipes too....do you share them? Always looking for a good recipe and something different....
She’s the best ❤❤
Thank you for your most delightful presentation. I would love to cook with you, you make the experience so uplifting and happy. I could hear your Father's joy in your voice, what a great memory filled with love. God bless and keep you shining as a light to the world!
I love this woman. God bless.
🎶"O Mari O Mari.."🎶
Thank you Nonna Gina for singing it reminds me of my Mamma and Nonno.
Sending you love from Ottawa Canada ❤️❤️❤️
You, lady, are a BLESSING
Salve, Gina!
In ITALIA, s'intende!!
Ti auguro ogni bene e un Natale super felice! (So che è presto, ma in caso che dimentico .)
Un abbraccio affettuoso,
Mary
My husband and and I are watching her and enjoying her. She is a wonderful cook. God bless her heart.
