I like this jacket. It looks good in two/three colours, but maybe not white. I am surprised it is so heavy as the leather isn`t so thick. You should feel the weight of my 19-year-old Crowtree Lancer. 1.6 ml thick with triple leather on the shoulders and elbows. It still hasn`t broken in. Good review. You`re a natural.
Luckily, it's easily removable and is only attached by Velcro. Underneath you'll find a black, round Velcro (soft) panel to attach it to. If you want to remove that one, you'll have to cut the stitching, but it's a lot more inconspicuous.

Beautiful jacket. Where is it manufactured? They almost hit the mark, but they need to go back and work on the fit a little more. That’s why I asked where it was made. Some manufacturers have their stuff made overseas, difficult to eye the quality control, especially fit.

The lack of tank protection is a valid point, but matters less on shorter jackets like these. Of course it all depends on the riding position of your bike and the size of your gut. ;) As for the comfort, we'll have to disagree on that one. Helstons jackets are amongst the more comfortable leather motorcycle jackets out there. Have a look through the customer reviews on our website and you'll find that is often the feedback.

Does it have a belt loop? (For some reason this reminds me of my RSD Ronin which I can no longer fit in to)

No tank protection, nasty scratchy zippers really heavy and looks uncomfortable. Nice to know a few animals died to make this wonderful product.
