Longhorn over Limited. I picked up my 2022 Longhorn yesterday. It came loaded with everything but the split tailgate/Ram Box. Love it! The interior is what sets it apart from any other truck in the game
Love my 2020 Longhorn .. did you get the air suspension ? IMO, it's the best looking interior on just about any truck.
Bought the longhorn loaded ( walked away from lifetime" Ford owner") best equipped truck and ride ... won't regret

Agreed! I owned a Dodge as I turned legal age to drive. Ramcharger. Went to Ford as the fit and finish was nicer. Came back to Dodge as they have really stepped up the game! The main thing about Dodge is they are "Owner friendly" for fixing. Parts are reasonably priced, and they are a wonder to drive. Thanks Dodge for making a great truck!
And much Better MPG on fuel too wouldn't you agree? Unbelievably runs better than Ford's 3.5L Ecoboost F150s. Any of them.

You can't go wrong with either truck for sure. Just picked up a Limited a couple of weeks ago and I am absolutely thrilled with it!!

Those trucks are awesome!!! I drove the limited and was blown away with comfort, smoothness, power and sleekness. Absolutely amazing truck.
I have a 19 Limited with almost 50,000 miles and it is a fantastic truck. I actually bought it when they first came out that's why I have so many miles.

There is no option on the limited that you cannot get on the longhorn. More of them just come standard on the limited. I optioned my Longhorn with everything (except the split tailgate). I just liked the Black and Tan cowboy interior of the Longhorn better.
A shame that air suspension is "standard" :(
Mistur Bawcks I love it on mine. I can adjust the ride height to whatever I like. Haven’t found anything I don’t like about it.

Mistur Bawcks coming up on my first winter with it here in Iowa. hope I don’t have any problems with it. It gets nasty here too but for not as long as Canada. I am a ford tech at a ford/dodge dealership. I don’t remember there being problems with the ram air ride here last winter but I’ll have to ask the dodge techs to find out for sure.

I rented a basic Ram Classic while my Tundra was being repaired. Was really shocked by the 5.7L’s power, tight supple suspension, great brakes and comfortable - nimble ride on 18” wheels. My only gripe is the dial control for trans. That’s it. This is a very good truck, miles away from Rams in the 90s and early 2000s that broke and Chrysler quality control was poor at best. This truck above, is at the top of the segment and I’m going to consider one when I am ready to buy. Laramie is good for me.
I have a 15 3500 and a 16 2500 big horn.

I have a 2017 Bighorn Ecodiesel, love it! Almost 75,000 miles, great mpgs, quiet and ride. Drooling over these models, though.

Tie breaker is the air suspension that's standard on the limited. But if the Longhorn had air suspension I'd go with that color pattern.
You can get that on the longhorn.
It's a nice touch on the longhorn with the barb wire etching on the gauge cluster
Great video. I purchased my Longhorn a year ago. The black and new saddle interior is a game changer. The frost and indigo interior for the Limited is beautiful. Probably not a good idea with kids, though. Both trucks are solid.

Grill on the longhorn is much nicer
when you're buying this high of a model, it just comes down to preference. I didn't like the air suspension being standard equipment (it's not covered under factory warranty), plus I enjoyed the more western appearance of the longhorn interior. So I chose the longhorn, minus the air suspension!

I have the exact same limited except my interior is Black and Tan instead of all black . Best truck there is right now , love it!

I have the long bed, reg cab with the big tank so my rang is about 420 miles right now. Decided to buy in September and get a left over. Big Savings!

Same here. I'm finally dumping my 2004 Chevy Avalanche. Was looking at the GMC Sierra Denali, but the interior is soooooooo boring. I'm definitely considering a Longhorn or Limited now.
Just bought the Longhorn with 22's and the cattle tan interior. It was to replace my expedition I've had for 23 years but my wife has taken it. I'm driving her Chevy traverse.
Both great truck, but the snob in me likes the limited better, I swear they use different leathers in the limited , a tad more premium
Good stuff Ben. Wow. Brown cattle tan. 👍👍👍 Had a Big Horn then a Laramie. Was all good with either one. From the Laramie on up you can get ventilated cooled seats. Once you have that, if you live in the southern half of the US, it’s hard to be without. Good review👍👍😎

I would love to see an interior comparison of some of the trucks. Indigo/frost, black/new saddle and maybe some other interior options. Most dealers do not have anything except black interiors to see.
Absolutely love the Indigo / Frost interior on the Limited BUT the Saddle Tan / Black with barn-wood accents is really nice too...Either one and you have a real nice truck ! FCA Ram is killing it and leaving other truck manufacturers in "catch-up" mode !! I drove a 2019 Longhorn with the 20" wheels with Air Suspension and it's unbelievably quiet and smooth, perfect vehicle for long vacation trips !!
I have picked Dodge Rame 1500 as most likely my next truck and will be my first "New" vehicle. I need the truck and 4x4 for what I like to do both work wise and recreation. I priced a Bighorn 2020 Double cab 4x4. New for around 35-38k Way better price than FORD, CHevy, GMC and Toyota. Love the tail gate set up.

Agreed. It's even sicker in person. Checked me one out. It was a 2020 blackout edition ram 1500 limited. Sick to the bone dude. Blacked out badass on the outside luxurious interior on the inside. Baddest ram 1500 ever made.
Tailgate is rad on the longhorn, bigger wheels and air shocks are cooler on the limited.
Tie breaker is the rad cowboy interior on the longhorn.
Winner, longhorn.

Up here in Ontario Canada we have to pay %13 HST on everything ! I looked at a 2019 Longhorn loaded with air suspension and it rang in at $81K +%13 HST = ALOT !! So to buy new. I'm losing $10K in Taxes and $10K in New vehicle depreciation rite off the smash !! That's $20K just for buying new = OUCH !!!

The only part about the interior that I wished was different on the Longhorn is the stitching. It shouldn't be the same color as the leather... any other color to put a the finishing touch on it and make it pop and stand out more.

I like te split tailgate, easier to load/unload heavy stuff, specially if you work with the truck. Again for work I'd prefer the std 6.4ft box instead of the short 5.7ft. I don't mind chrome vs black finish. Finally I would select the 20in wheels, more rubber, more comfortable ride than thin wall 22in, I like the adjusts air suspension.
Completely agree. I work my 22 lone star and that 6.4 ft bed would have came in handy so many times. The split tailgate would be nice too. I'm 6'3 and the bed reaches to my shoulders. If I have a hard time reaching inside the bed I can't imagine a shot fella.
I was almost ready to buy one of these. Live in Florida and heard too many comments about the weak A/C. That's really important here.

I like the brown and tan interior on the longhorns, but it's hard to find. Also, I wish the sport appearance pack was available on all trim level.

Limited it's better specially if you're getting the air suspension package and not included on long horn .
Pay attention to what the man says. You can get every feature on either version. I have a fully loaded Longhorn with air suspension, off road package, 3.92 gears, power steps, Ram Boxes, Multi Function Tailgate, Harmon Kardin stereo, etc. I chose it over the Limited because of the great looking Brown and Black interior.
The car is well sculpted and beautifuly designed inside. Is Fiat in charge of this design or is this a dodge/Chrysler build? They definetley took the win for best looking pick up

The sound system I bet is awesome on the limited, for me music is 60% of what I enjoy about driving so can’t help but want the limited..
The Longhorn and Limited are identical with their sound systems. They come standard with a 9 speaker system, and both can be optioned with the 19 speaker Harmon Kardon speakers (which both of the trucks in this video had).
@@traviscombs6947 okay for some reason I thought the anniversary limited had a unique sound system lol. Ended up getting it… def have a crazy monthly payment but has been worth it for me so far.

That tailgate is an option on either truck and one I did not take either. Before you judge the interior I just ask you look at it in person. Took my breath away.
The two-tone pearl white and walnut brown looks classy on the Longhorn.

Are air suspensions better now than they were years ago? Expensive to repair, prone to leaks from the air bladder. I know some people who needed repairs to go with a conventional suspension rather than repairing or replacing the air setup

New / first 4 years probably okay, but after that...Range Rover and Mercedes S class for example often have very expensive air suspension repairs

The dark brown / cognac colored interior looks very good! Luxury SUV like (As is the price...). Is laminated or acoustic glass (all around) available as an option?
Power step for 2021 only available on Laramie and Limited Longhorn. Why not Rebel and Limited?

I have the limited longhorn it does has everything except the 360 camera and foldable mirrors it came with HUGE Mirrors and a plain back up screen :/ can’t have all I guess, love the truck anyways.

Love Rams but I wonder if they fixed the lifter/camshaft failure issue? I got a 2011 sport 5.7 hemi. Changed the engine at 99,000, with a Jasper engine. Now I got another lifter failure and this time I am going to replace the camshaft and lifters with a performance package. Happens to a lot of folks. Gonna cost me about $10,000 over the life so far. Has me scared to buy a new one next year.

The Limited Loaded and Longhorn Loaded are the same price including 22" wheels and Air Suspension on both ! Both cost a small fortune !!
Air Suspension is the reason I would not get the limited. Don't want any part of it, it's not a question of if but when you will have problems with air suspension. They should make it optional on Limited as well.

Fully loaded. Limited starts at 53 and Longhorn at 50K
I'm a Ford guy. I gotta say Ram kills Ford on the interiors. The latest gen Ford interiors are far better than the '09-'14 interiors, but still have a long way to go to catch Ram. We'll see what the '21 F150 looks like soon, but I still think Ram will have the better interior.
How about 20 thousand off on both trucks really. Overpriced. Monthly payments are equal to mortgage payments on a house.
Mario Fernandez if you compare it to other vehicles with this much luxury you will find out it’s not overpriced at all.
You're going to pay the same amount for a top of the line GM or Ford and there really is no comparison.

Can you review 2019-2020 dodge ram problems/issues for your next video..? Ive recently seen a red lighting bolt light on my 2019 ram sport and another issue ive heard is that when i press the brake in park it makes some mechanical noise... so it would be interesting to see a video on this topic

That noise is probably the antilock brake booster kicking in nothing to worry about. There is an electronic brake system on the Ram, it's tied into the safety feature where the truck won't let you run into anything due to sensors and cameras all working together.
