We were looking for a gmc. We hated the look of ram for so long. My hubby wanted a gmc but before we chose a truck we checked out others. We saw this truck and fell in love but it was waaaaaaayy out of our price range. I was adamant about him getting this until we drove it saw the cool features and the dealer was giving a 10000 grand discount due to covid. It was a steal at that point so I said “baby I ain’t gonna help pay for a truck you kinda like” so we did it. The only contingency was his whole check had to go towards paying the truck off in a year. This is an AWESOME truck is drives like a dream. Super light on speed. I’m AMAZED!!!!!!

I like how they have the dial shifter now. The shifter in the middle or on the wheel feels very old school now. Great Innovation Ram
The crew cab space in the back means I can sleep comfortably.. And I'm 6'4. Haven't even been in the 2020, but the 2016-2019 are all incredibly spacious. Drives like an absolute power monger. You burn out with no effort. Instant power and you feel like you're driving a tall humvee with the size and space and power it holds. By far my favorite truck (and top 3 vehicles) I've driven.

I got me one in November of 2020. LOVE this damn truck! All options except the skid plates. Was a tad over 73,000 but got it for 59,000. Ram boxes, Panoramic moon roof. All the goods. Rides like a dream... within a dream🤤

I watched this video 2yrs ago and have just watched it again. It's an awesome video and defintetely swayed me into RAMs. Let me tell you I'm in the UK, and we don't see many of these at all. However, I have just pre-ordered my US import and I will be getting the 2022 5.7L Hemi black edition Limited with all the bells and whistles in November. The running costs aren't going to be cheap here, the price of gas has come down but presently equivelent to 7USD per gallon. But I do think it'll be worth it. Incidentally I have done 3 super long road trip vacations in the US, 1 in an F-150 and 2 in RAMs. One of them was a 5th Gen Big Horn with the small screen and it's going to be such an upgrade getting the Limited. Super excited an I honestly quite like the rotary gear shift knob. I'm getting a lift kit too and will get bigger tires.

@@jimbeam7248 got my 03 ram 1500 laramine and absolutely love it. Cheap interior and terrible gas mileage (11.5 avg) but nonetheless its amazing. The 5.9 engine also sounds glorious. However I agree that in 2009 the quality went way up

The screen above the steering wheel is programmable. The 4 corners and the sides. On my 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Sport, I put Oil Life on the left side in place of the Menu. $70000 is a lot, but until the end of the month, Rams are on Employee Pricing, so that should bring the price down at least $8000. And incentives are still in play. Chrysler has all the Ram Trucks online at every Dealership so you can look it up. The rear head rest fold down. Makes for better rear views while driving.

I have the same truck (Minus the blackout pkg). And yes it's an awesome truck. Just has too many emission restrictions. The cats are huge... maybe they're trash cans idk.. When towing a load and getting on the highway the 5.7 really has to work to get up to 70mph. But I like the truck. Next time I'll get the 2500 Limited.

I got 2021 laramie trim with night package and its a bomber look. I didn't even bother think about other brand trucks when I purchased the truck 3 weeks ago. My truck only missing 360 camera and air suspension.

VicioustC, how far Fiat.... Fiat took over all manufacturing details. They made a nice looking outside and inside but like the Kia, they didn’t add better components under the hood.

@@maz4002 That is complete false, they would be against them self doing that, since they have no experience doing US trucks...All Ram designers inside out are American except Daimler parts and because of Fiat financial merge, they started using few Italian small diesels and platform(s) for small vehicles like Jeep Renegade. Other than that Ram still uses German zf8 transmission and some small Daimler components, use to be some suspension and steering components as well, which were originally supplied to remove development costs.
If you really want to see what Fiat designs and sales, check their line up in Europe and US...in fact they also sale Freemont model which is rebadged Journey, just like Lancia sales rebadged 300C

My first new pickup was a loaded to the hilt 1977 Ford F-250. If I remember correctly it had one speaker in the center of the dash. About $60,000 less than a current new one.

I'm a big fan of that blackout edition Ram 1500 Limited. Not only beyond badass but also super unique while at it. Like I really love this truck so much, It's even sicker in person too. Sat in it. I'm a big 6'0/6'1" average heavyweight and I think this truck would definitely fit me right. Besides wanting my dream truck called a Ford F150 limited.

Ya there pricey...here in Canada when they first came out in late 18 they were asking 96 grand...lol..I got mine in October 19 and paid 73 grand Canadian. all big three top trim levels are pricey ..
