- Today I am making delicious tender soft biscuits glazed with honey and butter. This is my copycat recipe for Church's Chicken honey butter biscuits.

INGREDIENTS
2 1/4 cups (295 g) all purpose flour
1/4 cup (30 g) corn starch
1 Tbsp (15 g) sugar
1 tsp (5 g) salt
1 Tbsp (12 g) baking powder
1/2 cup (95 g) butter flavored shortening (you can also use unsalted butter)
3/4 cup (178 ml) whole milk
3 Tbsp (43 g) unsalted butter (melted)
1/3 cup (113 g) honey
Bake in a preheated oven @ 450ºF / 232ºC for 10 to 12 minutes

Wow! I've tried making other recipes but your recipe is by far THE BEST!! When my mom saw them the first thing she said was "Se parecen a los de Church's"!! And they taste amazing 😍. Thanks for sharing this recipe with us. I've also made some other of your recipes and all have come out great and on point. I tried your biscuits but I didn’t have any of the fats recommended so i used what i had which was margarine. I thought it would have come out bad but it tasted really good and was soft and yummy. I also thought, they would harden when cold but after a day, they’re still soft. Great recipe, thanks!!!!

Thank you for this. Followed it and it's very delicious. My wife and I both made it and every time it comes out great. Just made a batch and I didn't glaze it with butter or honey at all. Instead, I made some melted chocolate and then sliced them 3/4 of they way after being baked and put the chocolate inside. Turned out very delicious.
When I first came to Alabama this biscuit was all I wanted to eat all day! (I'm Korean so we don't really eat biscuits when we eat fried chicken.) I've always wanted to make one of those at home, thanks for your recipe I will definitely try this at home and let you know!
I made these. They are "wonderful". I very much appreciate you giving ingredient weights. It makes replicating a recipe easier. I always bake by weights and ratios. After you're very familiar with a particular recipe scoop and dump might save a couple of minutes but success is gained by attention to detail. Thanks for sharing.

I just tried today and it's perfect!! Actually I made a mistake that I just combined the melted butter and the honey together but I still coated them 2 times (and 2nd round of bake 2mins straight) and they're still perfect!! Thanks for your recipe ❤️

I tried this receipe today and its so good! My recommendation is to glaze the butter and honey generously! The glaze sips into the biscuit and taste so well.

I'm not one to typically comment, but these biscuits were amazing when I made them! My dough came out a lot more cleaner than the video and I didn't know if that was bad because it wasn't necessarily " messy/sticky", but I baked them anyways. I brushed my dough with egg before putting in the oven then when they started turning gold I took them out coated with a bit more egg, put it back in for a minute or two, took them out then coated with honey. They tasted so fckn amazing! ✨

Been looking for a Church's butter biscuit recipe. Can I request their version of Jalapeno poppers? I know you already did your version once. I'm just curious on how they do it.

You can actually get the Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit mix from the store! All you have to do is add cheddar cheese and water to it. I don't know where you live, but if you're in Canada, I got a box at Metro! And I would imagine if you're in the states they'd be even easier to find!
