This is OK, I dont hate a lot of chapters, it shows that you put a lot of effort into this video. The worst thing is video in between ads, especially when you watch at 360p and the add loads in 1080p only😢 Keep the work up, love the vids, you were the guy that brought me to this game❤
I did not know about the Brawler perk preventing zombies from spreading infection with a headshot punch. I just thought the text was being cheeky and that it didn't actually do that. I kind of appreciate that detail a lot.
Nice one, Mr. Prebuilt. Did you know you could use a plaster cast after you've already used the splint? The healing effect doesn't stack, but it's good for when you have to make an emergency splint to get back to the base where you can then put on the plaster cast you've fetched from the crate that contains entirely too many casts that you will never use.
I think it's cool how you make antibiotics with an old sandwich, which is connected to the story of the discovery of penicillin - mold appears on the old sandwich, which may be from the penicillin family.
Does having the physician perks also work for other people when you heal them, playing a server with 6 of us and was wondering if one of us could be a “doctor” and run around with more med supplies than the rest to heal others with benefits.
Excellent video. None of the big content creators talk about all of this in deep. One thing about the health bar. If you use it without treatment it will reduce your healing time to half the time. But if you use it when your previously treated an injury, it will reduce to half the healing time of the treatment too. So it is better to use them if you can after you treated your injury.
Super excellent video! I’m a new player and this info will help me a lot. I’ve died a few times from injuries and debuffs because I didn’t know how to heal them. Thank you for making this video.
6:20 - In my testing, the XP penalty applies even if you die soon after levelling up. Dying just before you level up doesn't matter either, it seems to be a set amount based on your level. That being said, I think eating glass as a way to die and thus cure all your ailments is a decent enough strategy that it could be expanded upon just a little bit more. Obviously not if you're playing permadeath, but otherwise, pre-level 6 you can just put down a bed, eat glass, then wake up and loot your dead body, with a clean, un-afflicted body and nothing but a couple of seconds wasted. Even after level 6, for some afflictions like broken legs and infection, the exp penalty is small compared to the time you'll waste having to walk around everywhere, or trying to find 3 honey after your infection reaches 10.1%. Obviously it depends on how you're progressing in your game, but it's good to know there's this option.
Infection is literally the worse injury that you'll ever have to suffer. Everything else is easier to find or craft. But finding honey is a crap shoot and making either antibiotics is near impossible early game; and is pricey late game.
I rembered ur post asking if there was any games we'd like to see from you and id just like to recomend valheim. Its a great game with deep and clean progression and refreshing gameplay tbh. Think abt it! :)
Really great video! Since we are coming up on a new alpha release for the game soon, I’m sure tons of people will come back to the game and therefore want to see stuff like this. I always learn something new from videos you put out like this that are really informative! Thank you
I believe one thing your should have covered with Sprained/Broken legs is how the "fall drops" item works with them. If i remember right, they do prevent the damage taken, but will still increase the timer
i don't think you missed anything. about a year ago this would have been a very useful video lol. i was surprised when i found out how useful alo cream was you can just keep using it and healing and at least for now its everywhere! great video keep them coming!
My immediate thought was 'I'm a pro at this game. I know everything about medicines'. My second thought was 'This is IzPrebuilt... He's gunna humble my ass inna minute'... So said.. So done lol. Good job on the video as usual.
i dont remember what i was doing. i was trying to do something in my inventory. i may have been trying to scrap things and accidentally clicked on broken glass and pressed A instead of S and well yea. i ate glass and got internal bleeding. the worst part is this was just recently. im no veteran of the game but i have been playing for a few years which makes it worse. but i think we have all pressed the wrong button on things. either eating something you didnt want to. or scrapping something you meant to repair. good times
One thing to note with a sprained or broken leg. While sprinting won't directly increase the timer for the injury if you've taken steroids, it will still stop counting down, so even with steroids it's best to limit how much you sprint if you want your leg to heal as soon as possible.
I am a NYS EMT-B, and I approve of this video. 🚑👍👍 Seriously, though, an EXCELLENT and informative video, and very well done. One of the things that has always driven me nuts (among the many things that TFP have done to the game) is the fact that a splint does not work on a sprain. A splint can absolutely be used on a sprain to help it heal and keep it from worsening by immobilizing or stabilizing it, and so logically it should also be able to be used in game. Thanks, Fun Pimps.....🙄
@@IzPrebuilt Your X axis is labelled Item but list HP points and your Y axis is labelled Healing HP and lists items. It's probably just my OCD, but I figured I'd let you know.
This video as well as the unkillable brawler build citing a broken arm as the "achilles heel" of the brawler made me realize that steroids are OP. Can spam them pretty liberally with iron gut and they basically completely negate the build's weakness.
Broken glass is easier if you're in single player. Go punch a window, or a painting. You could also build a suicide tower that kills you via fall damage, but make sure it's tall enough to kill you in one hit; otherwise you'll have to limp your way back up with a broken leg!
@@KeithKazamaFlick infection isn't as big a threat as it should be. It takes too long to die from it unless you get hit a bunch. There's a good mod that makes infection more of a threat.
It happened me Today, I ate a broken glass, becouse I had 80% infection, but it didn't worked. Is this a bug or the infection made my inmortal to broken glass?
If I am playing with someone that has perk points in physician and they slap a first aid bandage on me, does it do more healing on me than I would do if I did it myself with no perk points in physician?
I haven't tested it fully in a21, but it used to and I had a friend do the new splint sprain cure thing to me and it worked so i assume the bonus healing works.
I have over 300 hours of multiplayer gameplay in this game and now you're telling me it is possible to use healing items on other players? If I'd known this earlier me and my friends would save so many worlds we deleted after death
i have to say that critical injuries are probably the most fun aspect of the combat in this game, chugging down an entire ambulance worth of medicine before and after a fight and enduring the hits as much as possible is something that has no right feeling this cool. also from a gameplay standpoint, damage from zombies simply isn't enough to pose an actual threat, this mechanic requires you to be always weary and prepared to use the right counter to the injury, otherwise the fight gets infinitely harder and it is just so much fun
put the game on warrior difficulty, or anything above that, set zombie speed to jog or above and put feral sense on all the time, and trust me zombies are dangerous again, and pose a serious threat
Bro you know you've played too much when you know basically everything that was covered here.... Although I always thought of the infection as a simple bacterial infection, not a zombie infection.
That's an awful lot of chapters.
That’s an awfully hot coffee pot

New as of Alpha 21, sprains can be healed with a splint or cast as long as you have at least 1 level of Physician.

First Aid Bandage is superior to the bandages. If you bleed, the former will also heal the health you may have lost while the animation plays.
