Here is a pro tip that you don't see often: Step 1: Put on nerdy glasses and put 9 points into intelligence. Step 2: Max out better barter. Step 3: Go to trader and access 5/5 better barter secret stash. Take off glasses and you will have access to 4/5 better barter secret stash. This lets you see tons of different items.
Legitimately never knew the infection took 7 days to kill you, that's pretty neat. I always panic whenever I see it, and immediately try to cure it, even though it's not that bad at first.
Rental Vendos are VERY useful. You can frequently sell items listed as "No Sale Price", like stone tools/weapons. Stacks of 6000 stone are worth large amounts. The Rental Vendos also frequently offer double to triple the sale price that the Traders do.
@@SkylerLinux, it's pretty straight forward. Rent a vendo, and stuff whatever you can into it. I'll try to remember to test if it's still worth while in A20 this weekend.
I feel like your videos are always so helpful. The crit resistance explains why I only seem to get really hurt by animals where zombies rarely get more than one hit on me. I feel like the molotov hint was directed towards any who plays with Laney.
LOVE these videos! Could you do a video on what to do late game? I find I get bored mid-late game as I achieved most of the items I need & a base that's nearly indestructible. Just some ideas/goals to shoot for or fun projects to do? Been watching all your videos, can't get enough 🤙
I'm impatient, so I run everywhere. I wish this game had a gradual decrease in stamina loss by default, just like Oblivion. You start out as a fat slob who gets winded climbing a flight of stairs. Late game, you can sprint up those fuckers like an Olympian. That would be so satisfying. I also wish this game had the ability to go prone, like Solider of Fortune. Get higher shooting accuracy if you're on your belly. Crawl under 1-block heights, and go down air ducts like John McClain in Die Hard.
2 mins in and was really surprised to hear about the cement trick and i have 2k+ hours lol! thanks mate rarely subscribe or comment ever but this channel is fantastic keep these things going for me to listen to while i jam
Bro!!!!!! You can scrap cement?! Why did I not think of this. I have 3000 cement and just had to do a rock run right before this video. Such good info in this video. Thank you
I use markers in early game stage to mark coal, lead, and nitrate so I can find them again when I get to crafting ammo. Not to mention marking air drops if I can’t get to them right away, as the sprite disappears when the next air drop arrives. And although I’ve played for years, I have to admit I didn’t know #2. Nice list! We’re sending a Seal Team to rescue you.
I love these videos. I have a little over 1000 hours in the game and I still learn a little bit of something from watching your videos. Thank you kind sir! Also, can I make a silly request? Can you put all BLUE dye in your clothes for your next tutorial video? lol
Since the world is surrounded by a radiation zone, do you think an idea would be to find a hazmat suit and traverse the radiation zone to find another pocket of world map or an area the Duke could be in? Plenty of scope for adding stuff.
A small addition to Trap XP: Sledge Turrets and the Shooty Turrets are NOT traps, even if placed! You get full XP from kills of those, even if you're dumb as a brick, skillpointwise.
Just discovered 7dtd im a huge dayz, stalker, eft fan and general open world fps looter shooter/survival and this game is stinken awesome lol where has it been !
Despite my long time playing this, I did not know you could use the Vulture for the trading book thing. Thought it had to be a magnum. Also didn’t know the map thing, and had totally forgot about the exp from creating stacks of resources.
Regarding the player vending machines, the only items worth selling are STACKS of stone. They sell for 300K a pop. It will require a lot of mining though.
IzP: "But this tip always seems to blow someone's mind" Me: "Ah yeah, I've seen plenty of IzP's videos interested to see what tip I already know does this to people IzP: "Cement is scrappable" Me: "WHAT"
so I can cheese the early game in a multiplayer server if I have Art Of Mining Vol. 5 and stack all my friends resources and have it be even better if I am given Nerdy Glasses and Learnin' Elixir, cool
experience from trap kills does give you more exp from hordes in a lot of cases. If your traps kill more zombies than you and faster it's a no-brainer.
There is actually a limited amount of zombies that will spawn on a horde night. There will only be 3 true waves with a limited amount of zombies spawning. There is a possibility that you will end up killing more zombies with traps if you can't deal with all 3 waves yourself. However, as I said, that relies on Advanced engineering 5. Without atleast adv engineering 3 I believe, you won't get ANY XP so using traps if you are trying to level without ADV ENG is a bad idea.
@@IzPrebuilt Ah, I did not know this. I've noticed especially my first few hordes ending early. I tend to exit the game and start again, and the horde starts back up if it is still night. Has been like this for a few alphas now. I thought this was based in time/the low gamestage. The zombies take a while to run over so being able to kill them faster and further away seems a powerful concept during hordes. I trust your experience in the matter, but it would be interesting how far you could push exp gain from hordes.
For beginners it's easy if someone tells them that the traders quest is marked on the compass and that if you don't see the icon you're still too far away. nobody told me that. I almost gave up as a beginner 😅😅
The calculation for "days survived" is days alive - deaths, but it is capped by your level. If you are on day 28 and have never died, but are only level 21, your days survived is 21. If you are level 100 on day 28 and have never died your days survived is 28. If on the morning of the 28th you eat broken glass and die 28 times, your days survived is 0 for that horde night.
The XP from engineering is only electrical traps (darts, electric fence, blade traps). Spikes do not give any XP. I have not tested shotgun/smg turrets or mines, have you?
I learned that Pyongyang is in Korea. Now to continue not doing anything with this information... I need those lists, dude! Also, the last tip I stumbled upon while playing with my friend. I just got the book and was the designated miner, and I happened to have the stone on me, and hey, it's a new thing, so let me try it for the luls - and suddenly I levelled up. It was nice, suddenly gaining like 2 levels at that stage.
I always.. always rent a vending machine from the vendors. ALWAYS after a few days items will be bought by "someone/NPCs". Just try it rent a machine load it up, come back a few days later and a few items would be sold. You can even load in no value items, such as crucibles, motorcycles, minibikes. Great and best way to make money, better than getting ripped off by Rekt. Will NOT work with player bought machines, only the ones located in the vendors.
Oh my god I can't believe I have to explain this to an actual human being, but here we go. The "that was a lot of numbers" referred to the entire tip. It was all based on numbers and values, which I've had complaints about in the past. Not everyone likes being told percentages and seeing math, their brains turn off. I was being considerate to those people using my basic human ability of empathy. Imagine having to have someone explain a basic social courtesy to you, bruh I'm dead💀
isnt this kinda mostly redundant precisely because a20 is about to hit? Half this stuff might not apply to a20 - and about 98% of 7D players WILL move to a20.

Question on #23: You said days survived. So it you're on day 44, and you died on day 11, where would that put your days survived?
Well, you died once so 43
