To add to the Let Me Solo Her’s legend; there’s an ongoing online comic involving Smash Bros. characters by Gabaleth, and in one installment, a scene in a gym showed Let Me Solo Her working out alongside Doom Slayer.
When gamers cried out, when they were in need… one man was there to answer the calls. One soul that heard the cries in the void, and let not the fates stay their hand. In that time of need he answered, answered the cries of the gamers at their lowest…
At my age (72) I am always appreciative of someone who jumps in and gives a hand to the little guy, so kudos to all of you who do that to help others. But, to those who choose to be jerks, well, lets just say karma can be a bitch, and somewhere, sometime, the bitch will strike you, and usually her strike is way worse than the piddly stuff you did to someone in a video game. So be kind to others, is always the best policy for everyone.
“lvl 50 responds to sos beacons.” Bro it’s called QUICK PLAY, we all do it. only difference is we don’t do it for fame, we do it for fun and democracy.
half the time i try to do this, i get kicked only because i am level 50 lol. like, if they dont want help, they shouldnt be placing down SOS beacons and/or having open lobbies.
Yeah, while this story is great, there are a great deal of us out here that are doing the same thing. Which is amazing! We veteran players should be helping our new recruits or those in need. I've been playing for 260hrs plus, have everything in the game, and now I just help people. There's no need for me to play, but I still do cause it's fun, and I enjoy helping my fellow divers
I have kicked level 50's just because I assumed they had to be trash for playing in lower levels 😅 After getting up to 25, I understand that sometimes they just want to enjoy a match instead of fighting for thier life every .03 seconds lol
Ran around with a squad for 30 mins, mission completed. running to EVAC, I got kicked. no warning, No words the whole time. saved the whole crew twice with Orbital Lasers. I got nothing in the end. PAIN.
I was booted during a Taniks part 2, because I didn't use a rocket but a linear instead and I STILL out damaged everyone. They didn't boot me from the party in time
More like they booted you cause you out gun them lol but honestly they must of been using shit rockets in that case cause rockets are best damage on a well and most players use bait and switch apex with one Galijarhorn to one phase him into final stand
300 hours played and I didn't know anyone else was serving as an SOS Offi-SIR, I've been answering SOS on 7,8, and 9, mostly on Malevelon Creek for about 2 weeks now. Cool to know there are others👍👍
recently was in a level 7 mission with the guy. we didn't speak only chatted but after we took out the 2 factory striders on menkent he asked me if I had more missions. I said no and he asked if he could help others to which I said yes. he's a genuinely nice guy and all should strive to be him.
I'll confess that I've booted someone from the game near the end of the mission but they had eaten through a majority of our reinforcements by running off on their own thinking they're Rambo and completing zero objectives. My friend and I told them to stop. "You clearly can't solo the double gunship fabricators." In the end, we didn't have the reinforcements risk tackling the last optional objectives. I firmly felt this guy didn't deserve the samples we worked hard to collect and I kicked him. Don't want to be a team? You don't get the team loot.
So you’re upset he got put in the spotlight for it? It seems like he enjoys helping players in trouble or people that aren’t as good or are inexperienced. Nothing wrong with that.
@@nathanwhitney6756 yea and he can do what you want. But there is a big difference between this person and let me solo her. When you play solo long enough i kind of expect people to fan out and get the job done quicker, a personal exception is i hope to have one collector type person running around taking care of samples while us other 3 take out various bot factories and main/secondary objectives. On helldiver it depends, more or less teams of 2 branching out but still too much work to be done to waltz around as a squad imo
To me if you sit at extract and just farm kills instead of getting on the ship, I will post in chat to please get on the ship. Broooo why tf do so many people just love to linger at extraction it drives me insane. Or the opposite, they try to leave with half the team and all the samples on the other side of the map :(
I want to give this guy a special dlc video that shows his very own specially designed paint for the helmet and worn-out hell diver suit design and call him a helldiver veteran
Hi, Back when I first started (lvl 3 I believe) I joined a random SOS call while waiting for my friends to get online. I loaded in, I was met with a player giving me a hug and then enter the helicopter. I had quick look around, he had completed every objective and picked up a lot of samples. He/she could have completed the mission before i loaded in properly, instead they decided to wait and greet me. My point is that there are a lot of hero's out there, not just the OP people that'll carry your butt to victory.
Can confirm with the intro part about being unfairly kicked. The most recent example was me IN-MISSION with a squad only to be kicked when I wasn't following behind them. Another was when I didn't get into the landing shuttle because I had reasonable suspicion they would team-kill. And another example was when I joined only to be kicked, when there was no mission being played
I've kicked a person from my lobby twice. 1st was he kept throwing nades or stratagems at teammates. 2nd was a dude who knocked me out of a terminal for no reason when my HP was low, thus killing me, I killed back, saying lets leave it at that, he kept killing, thus I kicked him when he kept wasting lives.
this video reminded me of the selfless acts of the fuel rats for elite dangerous, where they would come to the rescue of anyone in need. I'm wondering if anyone has made a group similar to them for helldivers 2. if so id love to join. I'm usually a solo play but from now on I'm going to look for the s.o.s and do my part for democracy.
With a lot of blood sweat and tears I (sometimes) manage to solo lvl 6 missions when my friends aren't around. Solo clearing anything above that is insane to me. But at least I won't get kicked for loving the grenade launcher.
I'm glad to see that there are others doing the same, I didn't know that it was so appreciated to help like that. Seems like I have something I can do for others in this game.
Going to have to call out the lies about Dragons Dogma 2. there is NO paying for revives, or really anything else. 90% of the complaints about it are literally just not true lol.
Nah these are 2 drastically different things. Let me solo would basically carry the fight for people who were struggling (which imo takes away from the fight/experience but whatever). This is guy is quite literally just doing LFGs but wants to receive recognition. big deal. there is a massive number of max ranks who have been receiving no rewards save the feeling we get training up the new divers. as a HD1 vet I have become addicted to this game and all of its details and am so pleased with how it turned out. I was trained by many helldivers before me in the first game, and now I return the favor in the second. I have not received any rewards since launch week and am currently 400 hours in. I definitely look forward to new content but until then, I, as well as many other veterans will continue to train up the new divers to fight whatever is next in line. the difference between us and this guy, is that we don't have time to go on reddit and boast, we are on the front lines slugging it out with hulks and devastators. we are curb-stomping bile titans. we are laying down suppressive fire for the cadets to figure out the obj. The life of a helldiver vet is to dive, and dive, and dive again.
Back in my golden days in D2, in my clan I always offered to help out anyone who needed help on an exotic mission when we had a ton of them. I'd help them with builds if they needed it, and be the unkillable titan guide that help them reach the end and get that sweat golden lined weapon. I've started playing Hell Divers 2 recently. While I'm not strong enough yet, I'll defiantly follow in Atasu's foot steps when I am able to.
Lots of people do this. I do this a lot in level 3-7 especially when im bored and just want to farm samples and supercreds; i also join in trivial quickplay or SOS signals and then drop in patriot exosuits for the newbies for them to play with. this dude isn't just one man. i know a lot of people that do this.

The only time I kick someone is when I’m trying to get to my next mission and my RANDOM teammate thinks it’s a good time to go AFK for 3 hours ( and yes I have waited that long) just for them to leave anyways
I joined a game and they had no respawns left, seemingly about to be wiped out. I spawned in, and completed the objectives, told them to clear out whatever they needed, and that I would cover their extract. Gotta help those new divers, make sure they don't end up like our fallen.
So this dude is basically every nice player in the game. Doesnt feel as unique as soloing a difficult boss when she has extra health. Still appreciate the positivity and help but a lot of people can do that. Only a few could be become LMSH.
I think I've encountered him before, but it was on medium difficulty, wish he was there to help me during my solo challenging run, but I persevered until extraction, just how he would've wanted me to
it used to be a more common practice when i played helldivers(1st one) i was one of these as well that finished it all just to help others as a op godlike being thats helpfull to team and destructive to the rest. Im pretty sure the reward is your own inner view of supremacy while doing so.
I have only ever kicked one person and it was because as soon as we landed he murdered the whole team. He did it again after he reinforced us. So I kicked him.
I know if they don't want people on their team give it to them, if you kick to many people in a certain amount of time, make it so you can't find a team for set amount of time, so you'd have to solo the game for awhile.
I also help people in distress calls. But there were people who team kill me. And kicked me before game clear screen after mission has been completed. Or after they do team kill, they reinforce me just to kill me again for the weaponry I have. Repeated.
I'm a level 36 and have everything but a few ship upgrades unlocked and i do the same thing if i have any one to play with i quickplay in the lower difficulties (due to being kicked for not using meta) but it works out i get to help new players and let them play with the cooler weapons and the mechs there is nothing like watching a noob in the mech lol its like giving the sad kid on the playground a new toy, anyway i hope more players help new ones and show everyone we don't need a meta loadout to have fun because in the end its all for SUPER EARTH!
Once got shoved repeatedly by my team at the extraction resulting in me missing the evac. I was so frustrated I quit the game for a good while. It was my first day.
In my first game I got tkd about 15 times by a lvl 90 and he tkd me as I was getting on the ship so I booted his ass right before the ship took off. Didn't play for a few days after that.
i hope i meet letmesoloher in DIVISION 2 i also did the same way what he did in HELLDIVERS helping new players i mean agents to overcome and achieve their goal and objectives til they reach and eliminate AI bosses like aaron keener
Very nice video style and presentation, just a tiny issue: this guy is nowhere near LMSH-levels of "helping out". I am level 50 and do quickplay too, can you make a video about me as well?
Not to undermine Atasu, he's doing a great job... But I've seen other great lvl 50 divers dropping into my missions early on and being a great help. So in Helldivers, that isn't just one man... It's a whole playstyle.
I legit do the same as the helldiver lvl 50 and so is many others so I don't think we're getting a unique new LMSH in this game because we're talking about 2 completely dif levels of helpers here.
Helldivers, download some Stalcraft to keep the channels ship flying high (also i will love you forever) 😎 stalcraft.net/s/NBkxx4

I think they should add a SOS response success stats to promote this good behavior.
I like that idea to be fair knowingly dropping into shit to help a struggling diver out should be rewarded
They should make a Skull Admiral Rescuing Coalition [SARC] or something like that fr

there is a lot of hell divers that are practically let me solo her that don't get any or much attention. though itasu is a really good example of one
I know if they don't want people on their team give it to them, if you kick to many people in a certain amount of time, make it so you can't find a team for set amount of time, so you'd have to solo the game for awhile.
simple way, if someone gets kicked instead of booting to the lobby put them in session continuing the mission
He's him, he's the helpdiver 😂
I pray for him as he becomes another living legend
Puts a smile on my face.
SIGHS-
DON'T BRING THE 380m GODDAMIT. I would never kick you over that tho, I just don't like it
Olh, so THIS is the chief Hope has the hots for...
Sometimes i play low levels to relax and warm up too. I think a lot of helldivers do this.
The Avatar of Liber-tea
Once got shoved repeatedly by my team at the extraction resulting in me missing the evac. I was so frustrated I quit the game for a good while. It was my first day.
Nobody fear captain freedom is here and imma start helping as many sos beacons as i can
It always takes me longer to kill the godskin apostle duo
That guy is f epic . Man i hoped to run into him but hero he is. He taimed melainia so hard that at this time the boss just give up
Sergeant is flame Trooper didn't bring the flamethrower😅
This guy has been in one of my games! Holy shit!
