It has been confirmed by this video that sculpting “Let me solo her” should be a mandatory assignment for all art students in art school to learn anatomy in an interesting way.
It's so fitting that this sculpt would be a challenge for you. With ups and downs, soul crushing moments and brilliant comebacks, this was your real world Fromsoft boss and you took it down beautifully.
Sometimes it feels like other people's art just comes out perfect but you showing and talking about all the mistakes and difficulties during the process made me relate and appreciate your work so much more
Art ... that is so good. Pushing yourself and experimenting to the detriment of perfection is the way to go I believe. I recently started a 3 day project that was simply making a mask for my grandaughter with papier-mache. It went out of control and three months later it's finished as a resin casting from a silicon mould. A simple project for a child became like something from a Hollywood props department.
Jarnished. As a fellow highly perfectionistic ultra detail oriented artist, the patience and time this must’ve taken is purely PHENOMENAL. Take my respect, and my subscribe.
Bro was fighting a mental Malenia as he made this sculpture. It came out amazing and I love the attention to detail you had for anatomy! Also, props to you for experimenting with a lot as you did this sculpture!
Nah man this looks absolutely fantastic, I know the need of perfectionism but holy shit, you nailed it, the pose, the proportions, to me there is no mistakes here, it only gives it more personality. Congrats!!
The final result looks awesome! And I am so in love with your storytelling and how you do not hide the mishaps and mistakes during the process! As for the "seeminlgy simple but actually difficult" parts, your description reminds me a little bit of the programmers creed: "We don't do things because they are easy, but because we thought they were easy." Keep up the great work!
not only the fact that he got the real life sword he has killed the boss which some fromsoft veterans say is the hardest boss to date around 2000 times many of which was without getting hit he also spent 242 attempts on the first time beating the boss with no summons no help and no armour but only pure skill man is a legend
In Miniature Painting, we know these problems. Your problem is with your primer. Try using a rattlecan primer next time. When you use the airbrush to prime your models, the prime layers are too thin to stick to the model. I hope your next model will not have the same issues. And by the way, this artwork is amazing!
That peel! I gasped and felt exactly the pain you felt. I’d have left it for weeks from demoralisation haha. This is absolutely amazing and what a tribute to The Jarnished. I wish I could get just as half as good as you.
Bro, we make all the same mistakes and yet your stuff still turns out 1000% better than mine. Go figure. Your work is incredible and an inspiration! I love your commentary and insights too.
As an illustrator is amazing to see that the artistic rollercoaster of emotions is basically the same no matter the medium. This video is so real into the mindset of creating something and I love it so much. Keep up the amazing work bro. Earned a new sub and im sure youre going to blow up with this level of authenticity and quality
Having painted a lot of Warhammer, can confirm that the part that look hard are usually very easy, and the parts which look easy (like a plain, even-coloured yellow surface) is actually the devil.
This is wonderful. Not only is it a fantastic tribute to this legendary player but it's a perfect mimic to his journey from pretty exceptionally bad at the game to becoming a god at that fight. Slow progress, issues and errors and problems and attempt after attempt. It mirrors the player so very much.
Thank you :) That "struggle" is why I also didn't want to put the model in a particularly heroic pose. I didn't have a place for this thought in the video, but in my mind, this is earlier on in his "career" and he had just taken a hit or narrowly avoided one with a dodge, and is just now getting up on his feet, ready to fight again.
Adding to how impressive this is, bosses scale to the amount of players in the game. So every time he helps is is always more difficult than playing alone.
Man this was amazing. I definitely felt those soul crushing mistake moments because I've had many of my own doing digital sculpting and 3d printing. You gained a subscriber.
7:50 this thing you said here applies too for tattoing, tattooing a perfect fine straight line or a good circle is way more difficult than tattooing a complex looking dragon where you can overlook details you might've missed up on

(Specifically in ELDEN RING and only ELDEN RING, just sayin specifically this game and no one else because I have had been corrected on the point that lots of people also do this so I'm going to specifically say that this person from the ELDEN RING game made by FROMSOFT and published by BANDAI in the year 2022 is specifically The man, the myth, the legend. 1 dude who was just some random that took on the challenge to best those that have given up. The one player that pushed his every neuron, muscles, controller ((maybe, idk)) to not only beat his own demon, but to help those that could not.)
Jarnished as heck! It takes a truly amazing community to have a appreciation for a player who can truly be respected to the point others are willing to spend DAYS to immortalize you. You did an amazing job and never second guess yourself!
Love seeing your videos! Your grasp on anatomy keeps getting better and better and this sculpt is really a testament to that. When I'm figure painting skin I usually start with airbrushing a much lighter tone and go in with yellow, red and blue washes followed with airbrushed highlights and shadow. Looking forward to seeing what you make next!
this man is so humble, hes amazing at his work and yet still wants to make sure everything is as correct as it can be props to you for having this outlook on life !
You are amazing. Something to remember when you’re making such a detailed sculpt is that the details really make up for any small inaccuracies. They get lost in the impressive noise of everything else. And this is so impressive!
Jarnished! I relate to 12:13 so much, I can work on a piece for so long sometimes and just not be happy with and that causes me procrastinate sculptures forever. Only recently have I been able to just sculpt a piece and say "it's good enough" so I can learn from it and take those new skills to the next piece. Prior to that it had been almost 2 years since I had finished my last sculpt and my workspace was just littered with incomplete sculpts I never finished, only now have I started working through my 'backlog' essentially. It's nice to hear that I am not the only person who has a hard time moving on from a piece lol, and this sculpture is fantastic!
I really think your perceverance with this piece did let me solo her justice. I think in the end it looks awsome and i wouldn'd guess the hardships that went into it by looking at the finished sculpture. Thank you for this journey.
Just found this channel and I am really stoked about your future as a content creator! I really respect the honesty you portray about yourself in your work and the visceral emotions that you are capable of emitting in the design of your sculptures. I find your process meticulous and very insightful in a positive manner, which is very credible and creative. I sincerely wish you the best and will continue viewing each of these amazing sculpture design processes.
Hey love, I noticed that you’re quite harsh on yourself and your art. As someone who sculpted for about 20ish years and has been doing art since I could hold a brush (so about 40+ years), you’re doing very well. Something I learnt along the way was that you will always make mistakes, sometimes it’s so minor you can barely notice it and other times you have to redo the entire thing. Sculpting will always test your patience but you will gain such a great perseverance that you can apply to pretty much anywhere in your life. I understand how being an artist it’s very easy to nitpick your own art and see all the flaws but if you look back to where you started or even a year ago, you will see such a major improvement that you should be so proud of yourself for. Making mistakes is so intrinsic to being a great artist and gaining those skills but please be kinder to yourself, it breaks my heart to see someone with so much talent and artistry be so negative about their own ability.

You made me realize that I need few things: Practice, airbrush practice, anatomy knowledge, practice, practice, a very well ventilated room to sand/airbrush so I won't die from my own hobby, aaand... practice. Jarnished. I am in awe of your persistence and artistry. Even after all your tribulations you have produced a masterpiece entirely worthy of the subject. Thank you for sharing.
I have no idea when it comes to sculpting, I couldn't even tell the stature of the character was wrong, and just overall I was thinking to myself - damn this looks sick. Then you go into explaining your creation process and just how many aspects of the sculpture you wanted to do better. Incredible! One can tell that you are insanely passionate about the entire process and how you are keeping yourself to very high standards. Awesome watch.
Amazing talent! It's insanely inspiring to see someone put themselves into a project they love and endure through everything. The end result is truly magnificent!
From how you’re talking I can understand that you’re truly knowledged in your form of art is so amazing to hear. Even if there’s parts you could’ve done better in your own opinion, I just wanna let you know that this is an amazing piece!
Jarnished. what a fantastic display of learning! Thanks for sharing your arts! I would love to see you come back to this in future and make it again and compare yourself to your past self
Jarnished. You demonstrated so much expertise and skill in sculpting LMSH, that I felt strongly compelled to watch the whole thing and I'm so glad I did cause seeing the whole process articulated and explained in a simple and comforting way brought me amazing insights I'd never considered before such as utilising various types of clay for different purposes, utilising resin + UV techniques, and how problem solving is vital when sculptures run into complications and now I have a new found appreciation for those like you that spend time making epic stuff like this. Keep it up, man !!!
The anatomy fix was such a great lesson! You gave me such a lightbulb moment with your diagram over the sculpture. I feel more confident in my next drawings!
The flaws make it not only unique to your style, but to the Jarnished at hand. it is the imperfections that makes the Humanity in us shine the brightest.
Jarnished You are so very skilled and I enjoyed your honesty in the successes and troubles you worked though. It's only through your challenges and blunders that you learn the most. Thank you for sharing. God bless!
I really like seeing the mess ups honestly and the thought process behind the mistakes. I always dread mixing paint and having to make another batch to try and match the original. Seeing someone this skilled have the same fears as me is comforting honestly.
Thank you for including all the flaws, mistakes, failed experiments, and pain in your video. These are all important steps in the creative process that people WILL encounter in their own sculpts.
Not giving up on a piece the moment you screw it up is how you actually finish things as a beginner, too. It's great advice for people at any stage of their art journey.
This looks INCREDIBLE!! Instantly drawn to the thumbnail for this video because of how nicely it was posed. Wow, what a journey! Amazing ups and downs and show of your skill and perseverance. Subscribed as a sign of respect.
Just learned the lore behind all this a couple weeks ago. I don't even play Elden Ring or souls-like games. I do work at a game shop though so its par for the course. Great job on the artwork!!!
Amazing final results. I do love the honesty, the patience, the effort and dedication for this project. Please keep up the great work. My first video was the hollow knight and I subscribed immediately. But watching this was definitely a sight to behold. Thank you, my talented friend. Can't wait to see what you come up with next.
It looks great. As a artist I get your pain from the events not going as planned. That's a huge portion of being a artist, fixing mistakes and turning them into something.
"simplifying for time" he says while proceeding to make one of the most complex and accurate sculpture I've ever seen, with details that could have been done with out for time sake. Most of the sculptures I see get made are just a couple clay balls stuck together around wire with worm strips blended in to make it muscle like. This had to be the best sculptures I've seen and I'll be looking forward to more in the future.
This video is amazing, im learning to make figures and things i like out of clay (coincidently the same clay in this video!) and seeing your approach and way you get over obstacles was awesome to see! A lot of youtubers i take inspiration from cut out most of their struggles and challenges, but seeing someone as good as you struggle with things that look simple was a realy nice reminder that just because it "looks" easy doesn't mean it is. Thanks for the video!!
Wonderful to see your experiences, both the frustrating and successful ones. Considering some of the materials used are relatively new to you the end result still appears masterful.
Jarnished. Really cool sculpture, thank you for creating and showing such an amazing piece of artwork!

Jarnished! Love the way this came out! If Let Me Solo Her saw this, I'd bet he'd be impressed!
he did see it luckily
The anatomy fix was such a great lesson! You gave me such a lightbulb moment with your diagram over the sculpture. I feel more confident in my next drawings!
Jarnished, fantastic sculpt and video, thanks for sharing your process. Love seeing the errors and soluitions.
The flaws make it not only unique to your style, but to the Jarnished at hand.
it is the imperfections that makes the Humanity in us shine the brightest.
Bravo. This mirrors a lot of artist and makers experience. Ty for being real and sharing the journey. Its a beautiful piece.
Jarnished
You are so very skilled and I enjoyed your honesty in the successes and troubles you worked though. It's only through your challenges and blunders that you learn the most. Thank you for sharing. God bless!
What a beautiful sculpt and such a nice way of narrating your video!!! Looking forward to more of this!
I really like seeing the mess ups honestly and the thought process behind the mistakes. I always dread mixing paint and having to make another batch to try and match the original. Seeing someone this skilled have the same fears as me is comforting honestly.
Wow, you are such a hard worker. I am so inspired by your commitment to growing as an artist! Go you!
Beautiful piece. Beautiful journey of learning and adapting in your process. Thanks for sharing!
Great work my friend. Cos clay once you get use to it is one of the best materials I have ever used. Glad to see you enjoyed it.
Love the insight into the socalled "mistakes"
Big thumbs up, well done Art..
Im a hobbyist sculptor and I just found your channel, truly inspirational.
Man I hope you show him this video. What a legend to have a sculpture made of himself!! The attention to detail was unbelievable
i love that you show your mistakes too, it really humanizes the entire proccess and teaches a lesson as well
Absolutely incredible. Even though you said that the piece was quite flawed in several areas, I still think it's beautiful. Bravo! Bravo!
"Flawed" he says while making one of the coolest sculptures I've ever seen
jarnished... this is my first time stumbling across your channel and i am chuffed to bits with what you have produced here... very nice
Just learned the lore behind all this a couple weeks ago. I don't even play Elden Ring or souls-like games. I do work at a game shop though so its par for the course. Great job on the artwork!!!
The first thing that I noticed IMMEDIATELY 😂was that the guy had no SCHONG! Besides that, absolutely amazing dude!
i think the mixed skin tone actually adds to the authenticity of the setting
What an awesome piece of Art!
Jarnished~ Very fantastic work! You really captured his awesomeness.
It looks great. As a artist I get your pain from the events not going as planned. That's a huge portion of being a artist, fixing mistakes and turning them into something.
I'm a guitar player and I'm learning producing.
I watch a lot of different kinds of artists to keep me inspired. Your videos are aweseome.
I’m glad you’re back. You’re work is amazing and your commentary is top notch
Jarnished this is quite brilliant indeed. Love the Sculpt, looks amazing.
I enjoy this so much! Amazing content, best wishes to you and your future projects! 🌻
Thanks for the video!!
the task of bringing this model to life fits well with the theme of fighting a boss like melania!
I really enjoy your commentary and explanations behind your decisions as you made this!
Amazing, worth the effort. Thanks for this and showing the journey.
Thanks for sharing and explaining all your mistakes. It was so nice to hear someone who can make something that looks so cool make mistakes too.
LMSH is a living legend! I actually summoned him once before he became so famous.
I watched to whole video and enjoyed the process very much. Great art sir!
Wonderful to see your experiences, both the frustrating and successful ones. Considering some of the materials used are relatively new to you the end result still appears masterful.
