Art ... that is so good. Pushing yourself and experimenting to the detriment of perfection is the way to go I believe. I recently started a 3 day project that was simply making a mask for my grandaughter with papier-mache. It went out of control and three months later it's finished as a resin casting from a silicon mould. A simple project for a child became like something from a Hollywood props department.
Bro was fighting a mental Malenia as he made this sculpture. It came out amazing and I love the attention to detail you had for anatomy! Also, props to you for experimenting with a lot as you did this sculpture!
It's so fitting that this sculpt would be a challenge for you. With ups and downs, soul crushing moments and brilliant comebacks, this was your real world Fromsoft boss and you took it down beautifully.
Sometimes it feels like other people's art just comes out perfect but you showing and talking about all the mistakes and difficulties during the process made me relate and appreciate your work so much more
It has been confirmed by this video that sculpting “Let me solo her” should be a mandatory assignment for all art students in art school to learn anatomy in an interesting way.
Adding to how impressive this is, bosses scale to the amount of players in the game. So every time he helps is is always more difficult than playing alone.

Nah man this looks absolutely fantastic, I know the need of perfectionism but holy shit, you nailed it, the pose, the proportions, to me there is no mistakes here, it only gives it more personality. Congrats!!
The final result looks awesome! And I am so in love with your storytelling and how you do not hide the mishaps and mistakes during the process! As for the "seeminlgy simple but actually difficult" parts, your description reminds me a little bit of the programmers creed: "We don't do things because they are easy, but because we thought they were easy." Keep up the great work!
Bro, we make all the same mistakes and yet your stuff still turns out 1000% better than mine. Go figure. Your work is incredible and an inspiration! I love your commentary and insights too.
Having painted a lot of Warhammer, can confirm that the part that look hard are usually very easy, and the parts which look easy (like a plain, even-coloured yellow surface) is actually the devil.

I didn't have a place for this thought in the video, but in my mind, this is earlier on in his "career" and he had just taken a hit or narrowly avoided one with a dodge, and is just now getting up on his feet, ready to fight again.
Love seeing your videos! Your grasp on anatomy keeps getting better and better and this sculpt is really a testament to that. When I'm figure painting skin I usually start with airbrushing a much lighter tone and go in with yellow, red and blue washes followed with airbrushed highlights and shadow. Looking forward to seeing what you make next!

In Miniature Painting, we know these problems. Your problem is with your primer. Try using a rattlecan primer next time. When you use the airbrush to prime your models, the prime layers are too thin to stick to the model. I hope your next model will not have the same issues. And by the way, this artwork is amazing!
That was SUPER fun! Hey love, I noticed that you’re quite harsh on yourself and your art. As someone who sculpted for about 20ish years and has been doing art since I could hold a brush (so about 40+ years), you’re doing very well. Something I learnt along the way was that you will always make mistakes, sometimes it’s so minor you can barely notice it and other times you have to redo the entire thing. Sculpting will always test your patience but you will gain such a great perseverance that you can apply to pretty much anywhere in your life. I understand how being an artist it’s very easy to nitpick your own art and see all the flaws but if you look back to where you started or even a year ago, you will see such a major improvement that you should be so proud of yourself for. Making mistakes is so intrinsic to being a great artist and gaining those skills but please be kinder to yourself, it breaks my heart to see someone with so much talent and artistry be so negative about their own ability.
I love your message here….I find it to be true…about the time I am ready to melt it down, something in me says do not…make it work. Those tend to be my biggest successes…
hey Art, just found this video and just wanted to say the result of this is absolutely bonkers! as in amazing! it's really cool you show every step of the process and are honest about your frustrations. just know that 99% of people would never be able to see the things that went "wrong" in the process. please make more! your art is great!
Sooo in Summary: You made a Sculpture from a game, that forces you to fail very often. And you had multiple problems making these Statue. Just like Fromsoft intended
Jarnished. You demonstrated so much expertise and skill in sculpting LMSH, that I felt strongly compelled to watch the whole thing and I'm so glad I did cause seeing the whole process articulated and explained in a simple and comforting way brought me amazing insights I'd never considered before such as utilising various types of clay for different purposes, utilising resin + UV techniques, and how problem solving is vital when sculptures run into complications and now I have a new found appreciation for those like you that spend time making epic stuff like this. Keep it up, man !!!
It looks great. As a artist I get your pain from the events not going as planned. That's a huge portion of being a artist, fixing mistakes and turning them into something.
Your sculpture is so cool, and your troubled process made the video even better. I can relate to it so much because the best things I've done so far were filled with problems and difficulties. But once we persist and thrive, that only makes us look at the final result even prouder.
trully mesmerized at the process to create the sculpture, its honestly so cool you go from the bones, to the muscles and give it so much detail, it just looks so cool, and it honestly seems really challenging and rewarding given how good it looks in the end.
Not giving up on a piece the moment you screw it up is how you actually finish things as a beginner, too. It's great advice for people at any stage of their art journey.
holy fuck. wow, i did not know i needed this but wow its channels like yours that make me fall in love with this website all over again even after nearly a decade of being on here ;) thank you
As someone who never sculpted anything further than an dinosaur with bare white clay, even I felt the pain when the paint came off with the mask. Still you did incredible job Let Me Sculpt Him.
Amazing! Even though you are your worst critic and this sculpture is a masterpiece. It nice to see someone so humble with admitting and showing the flaws with the process. Appreciate that and helps us all grow and learn.
I really loved watching this video, it really shows the path of an artist, the suffering of failing but learning from the mistakes, and link this feelings to the feelings when playing the game. Simply Amazing video.
Jarnished. what a fantastic display of learning! Thanks for sharing your arts! I would love to see you come back to this in future and make it again and compare yourself to your past self
dude your knowledge on humen anatomy is insane, especially muscles, bones and tendons, its crazy how accurate it looks, even the muscle fibers on the chest
From how you’re talking I can understand that you’re truly knowledged in your form of art is so amazing to hear. Even if there’s parts you could’ve done better in your own opinion, I just wanna let you know that this is an amazing piece!
With an ever shortening attention spam thanks to excessive media consumption, I sat through this whole video enthralled. It was quality content from start to finish in not only seeing the art piece come to life but the work put into video editing and voice over. Thank you for sharing this, it looks amazing.
I’m all caught up with Boylei and North of the Border videos, glad I found another person who has a pleasant commentary to listen to whilst looking at the art coming together beautifully
A true legend indeed. Immortalized. I need to learn this craft/art. I always wanted to make a miniature sculpture of a Viking warrior in a warcry. Fantastic job, mate. 👍
Just learned the lore behind all this a couple weeks ago. I don't even play Elden Ring or souls-like games. I do work at a game shop though so its par for the course. Great job on the artwork!!!
This looks INCREDIBLE!! Instantly drawn to the thumbnail for this video because of how nicely it was posed. Wow, what a journey! Amazing ups and downs and show of your skill and perseverance. Subscribed as a sign of respect.
I can promise you bro when you showed the piece at the beginning of the video I didn't notice any of the issues you covered. Just some very dope work all around. Well done!

Man I hope you show him this video. What a legend to have a sculpture made of himself!! The attention to detail was unbelievable
When Let-Me-Solo-Her enters the arena, Malenia hears boss music...
hey Art, just found this video and just wanted to say the result of this is absolutely bonkers! as in amazing! it's really cool you show every step of the process and are honest about your frustrations. just know that 99% of people would never be able to see the things that went "wrong" in the process. please make more! your art is great!
Now sculpt him giving birth
Wot
Dude, you being critical of yourself and i'm just sitting here thinking "this looks amazing!" haha. You truly are a master!
Jarnished.
What an incredible process, thoughtful presentation, and generous piece of art. Thank you!
Absolutely incredible. Even though you said that the piece was quite flawed in several areas, I still think it's beautiful. Bravo! Bravo!
holy fuck. wow, i did not know i needed this but wow its channels like yours that make me fall in love with this website all over again even after nearly a decade of being on here ;)
thank you
As someone who never sculpted anything further than an dinosaur with bare white clay, even I felt the pain when the paint came off with the mask. Still you did incredible job Let Me Sculpt Him.
i donno what this guy said for the last 25 minutes but i liked the sculpture!
I'm a guitar player and I'm learning producing.
I watch a lot of different kinds of artists to keep me inspired. Your videos are aweseome.
Jarnished. I've never played Eldin Ring or seen your channel until now, but dang, this video is super interesting and entertaining. Nice sculpture👍
Bravo. This mirrors a lot of artist and makers experience. Ty for being real and sharing the journey. Its a beautiful piece.
Beautiful piece. Beautiful journey of learning and adapting in your process. Thanks for sharing!
Jarnished. what a fantastic display of learning! Thanks for sharing your arts! I would love to see you come back to this in future and make it again and compare yourself to your past self
Thanks for sharing and explaining all your mistakes. It was so nice to hear someone who can make something that looks so cool make mistakes too.
dude your knowledge on humen anatomy is insane, especially muscles, bones and tendons, its crazy how accurate it looks, even the muscle fibers on the chest
You really are your own biggest critique. This is fantastic and i look forward to everything you do moving forward.
Jarnished, fantastic sculpt and video, thanks for sharing your process. Love seeing the errors and soluitions.
My jaw dropped and my heart sank to the floor when the paint peeled off. But hey, you didn't give up and it looks fucking sick. Good job man!
Just learned the lore behind all this a couple weeks ago. I don't even play Elden Ring or souls-like games. I do work at a game shop though so its par for the course. Great job on the artwork!!!
i love that you show your mistakes too, it really humanizes the entire proccess and teaches a lesson as well
You're message at the end inspired me to finish a sculpture I've shelved for 4 years now.
Love the insight into the socalled "mistakes"
Big thumbs up, well done Art..
Jarnished this is quite brilliant indeed. Love the Sculpt, looks amazing.
Thank you for acknowledging the fact that LMSH is a legend and must be recognized as such. Respect to you
This looks INCREDIBLE!! Instantly drawn to the thumbnail for this video because of how nicely it was posed.
Wow, what a journey! Amazing ups and downs and show of your skill and perseverance. Subscribed as a sign of respect.
this dudes sculptures are always sick but i feel like he's so critical of them in every video. They look great bro!
Great job sir.
I can promise you bro when you showed the piece at the beginning of the video I didn't notice any of the issues you covered. Just some very dope work all around. Well done!
Great job with providing context. Intro was very articulate and concise!
all those "imperfections" gave it character. awesome job, was fun to watch 10/10
Wow!!! Just found your channel, and BOOM!!! Is all I can say!!! Your sculpts are insane!!!!
