The most wholesome thing to ever happen to me in this game was when suddenly someone level 25 just took me under their wing and guided me through the mission, no talking, we already know what must be done, we hugged in the game at the end and they were gone. if you ever read this I’m grateful for what you did who ever you are thank you

Oof. I joined shortly after the fall. When I heard that mechs were being deployed, I screamed sign me up. 10 levels away and doing level 4 missions to get there but it stinks how high the bug encounters are.

A “Noisy Cricket” style sidearm would actually be an awesome addition to the game. It emits a single, massive blast in a cone in front of you and launches you backwards. Could be useful for getting out of tight spots when you’re being swarmed.
That's called a "grenade jump" and has been employed only by the most loyal of Helldiver's.

Favorite part of the video is 2:55 where the helldiver is more upset about the flag of Super Earth being crushed than him dying. Sums up the helldiver mentality perfectly

I adore how most of the promotion for this game is community made, they made one official trailer while the rest was purely fans wanting to pull more people in.
The best way to advertise your game is to make one that people want to play
They have like 7 trailers as far as I know.

Let’s take his Kirby videos for example, he breaks a hole in his house at the end of the video. Then in all the future times where Kirby’s house shows up, it has that hole patched up with wooden boards.

Really love that Silemt Holl Reference at the end. Of you don't know, there was a secret ending in Silnet Hill where James Isnderland finds out ut was a dog controlling entire events of the game. He falls down on his knees the same way too

Being a person that fought exclusively on the robot side way more than the bugs, that portion was 100% accurate and I was smiling and laughing through all of it😂
