Yeah my only sticking point with SM2 (I loved it) was that I really preferred Mark Strong's performance in SM1, primarily because he made Titus so extremely calm in all situations. His lines seem all the more intimidating because of how quietly he says them. A guy walking up to a Chaos Lord and just saying "You wish to speak to your Gods? I will deliver you to them." before popping said Chaos Lord's head between his hands like a grape feels much cooler than if he'd shouted it. Of course, the louder and more aggressive tone Titus takes in SM2 could be attributed to his service in the Deathwatch and subsequent Rubicon Surgery.
The fact that this summarises the entire plot of the game, and despite only playing it once I recognised every moment, is absolutely wild to me. Not sure if that speaks to the quality of the game, or the animation, or both. I'll go with both.
