  • I know I didn't show you all a good video of the lift in my last video, so here is a better all around look at the lift and the stance of the car.

    Really considering this lift kit vs the Bilstein 5100 for a lift less than 3”. If I’m looking for about 2” lift in the front, would I be able to adjust this kit?

    That wasn't enough.. I want more 4runner!... J/k man looks good... How did u feel about the quality of the Eibach parts overall .. did u see any quality control issues.. also I see videos of people with red coils with this kit.. but online it looks like all that u get is silver ... Have u heard anything about red coils?

    • @danyang3336
      @danyang3336  3 года назад

      The red coils are only for the TRD Pro's, it's meant to go with the Fox shocks so if you have a pro then that kit will work well for you.

    Hey man! Is that lean you have because of the KDSS?

    • @danyang3336
      @danyang3336  4 года назад

      No, it’s a pretty common thing. Driver side lean is pretty common for lifted cars, not a fault of this kit. From what I’ve read it happens in most lift kits

      @@kjita_350z3 spacers on rear springs, from what I gathered on forums. 1/4 spacer puts half inch change, 1 inch is a 2 inch change due to geometry of where spacer is.

I’m retired (probably older than your dad) and live in the Chicago area but would like to purchase the 2021 TRD Off-Road (Several folks have made great offers for my 2011 4Runner SR5). I have a question for you. I’m debating on either buying the eibach pro truck lift or the bilstein 6112/5160 for my 2020 4runner SR5 2x4. Which one is better and which will last longer?

    • @danyang3336
      @danyang3336  3 года назад +1

      Honestly those two are very similar to each other. The bilstein will be cheaper for sure, however you will have to re use your old coils. You could spec out a whole kit with new coils but then it would be more expensive than the eibach kit. I would say go with your budget, but in terms of performance it would consider them equal to each other. Ride quality and lift size are similar.

    • @danyang3336
      @danyang3336  4 года назад

      Going up a notch will give you more lift technically , but it’s really intended for added weight nor added lift. Either or would work, I’ve gone with a spacer lift as I don’t want to disassemble the whole thing to go up a notch.

    • @Dean0017

      Once you go higher that what this kit does... You have to start looking into a front diff drop and upper control arms. Just be aware.

    So Im guessing that when you added the new UCAs with the lift you needed to get an alignment to adjust camber and caster. Will you need to get another alignment with the new wheels and tires?

    • @danyang3336
      @danyang3336  4 года назад +2

      Yes, I had an alignment done. Caster was set to 4, toe and camber were set to spec. My tech said that alignment is not dependent on tire/wheel so I will not need another alignment when I add my new wheels/tires
