Project C5 EP 2: Changing out Differential & LS1 Oil on the

Moving onto changing out the Differential Fluid and LS1 Motor Oil on the C5. The hardest part about swapping out these fluids is probably the Fill and Drain Bolts being seized onto the Differential but with a little love they come off no problem. It’s also super crazy how nasty Diff Fluid smells. It was a positive tough that the Diff actually still had fluid in it because I though it was leaking. In comparison the T-56 Manual Transmission had almost NO FLUID LEFT IN IT (Scary). Changing the motor oil was just like any car hardest part is getting the freakin car off the ground haha (Very Low). Great job! Im a true believer that changing all fluids is a must for long term reliability. Especially like to get the break in oul changed at low miles to get out all the little metallic stuff out. I buy low mileage used. Just did my 2017 Silverado front to rear! Did my Cadillac ATS rear diff at 30,000 miles, transmission fluid at 33,000. Much respect....💯 💪🇺🇲

Appreciate the love brother thank you ! Couldn't see myself paying someone over 1000 for all of this service but would be crazy not to do basic maintenance especially on a car this old. Kudos to taking care of your babies as well I think I want a truck pretty soon too haha. ✊🏾🇺🇸
