Great job! Im a true believer that changing all fluids is a must for long term reliability. Especially like to get the break in oul changed at low miles to get out all the little metallic stuff out. I buy low mileage used. Just did my 2017 Silverado front to rear! Did my Cadillac ATS rear diff at 30,000 miles, transmission fluid at 33,000. Much respect....💯 💪🇺🇲

For me the Supra sits in an awkward spot. The GR86 is so much cheaper and is a fun sports car. The GR86 also offers cargo practicality with a foldable (small) rear seat. Then there is the BMW shadow, will it be expensive to own down the road? I am not surprised sales are way down after the initial surge. If I go up in price to that level, I can probably stretch myself a bit further and there are very compelling alternatives.

Make them affordable? In the past there were many options at reasonable prices. Younger people liked sports cars and they are pricing them for grown adults that want an SUV. It's kind of obvious to me 🤷

problem with turbos is they do get you better gas mileage, and they also give you worse gas mileage depending on how you drive, when it's all spooled up it takes in more gas for the extra air pressure, i've never owned a car with a turbo but that's what I've heard

Reasons for low sales: 1) Dealership mark-ups 2) Toyota buyers typically are not looking for a nearly $60,000 sports car with only 2 seats 3) As a general rule of thumb, the most higher the price tag on a sports car, the more smaller the market that would actually buy it 4) Since Toyota Supra is made by BMW, why not buy an actual BMW and skip the hassle of the Toyota dealership telling you, "This is a special car for a special buyer." 5) Newer sports cars like the Nissan NISMO Z, Ford Mustang Dark Horse, and G87 BMW M2 are coming out at the same price point making the Supra old news 6) Supra's exterior looks scream to police officers, "Look at me! Look at me! Look at me! Easy money right here, pigs!" 7) Dealership mark-ups 8) Used Toyota Supras are showing up on market now 9) Dealership mark-ups 10) Shopping at a BMW dealership is way less stressful than trying to buy a Supra at a Toyota dealership from a kid half my age. 11) Did I remember to mention dealership mark-ups?

You can't sell what the manufacturers don't build. There is presently 1 6MT Supra available for sale in the USA. Hot hatches are the same, virtually none available except a few with huge dealer markups. I was seriously considering a Supra (but would have needed to wait 6 months or more to get one) when one of my ~10 year old vintage BMWs developed expensive electrical problems, as yet unresolved. This reminded me of how much "fun" it is to own BMWs longer term, so I went in and got a pretty good deal on a GR86, and don't regret it.

The greens on corvettes have always been unique and not popular. 1982 had silver green with matching leather interior, I always liked it a lot. 1990 had a forest green color, especially for ZR1 versions.

You can't sell cars if enough of them don't exist.

The reality is that the GR86 is overshadowing it's bigger brother, being slightly more engaging to drive, no BMW issues, more than quick enough for the street and about half the price. Here in the UK they've now taken the Supra off sale it was selling so few, yet GR86s are still in demand, although I believe it'll no longer be on sale in a few months time due to new safety regs coming into Europe, say times :(
