I have Makita's LXT, Milwaukee's 2904 and 2804, and Dewalt's 998. All are virtually identical in terms of performance. I do prefer the Makita due to ergonomics and reliability. All my Milwaukee tools have unreliable triggers.
I do too prefer makita over any other. It might not have quite as much top torque as some other drill, but that is all for the RUclips tests. In a real world they all feel similar, but makita is actually smoother and more pleasant to use.
