Thanks for the kind words. I haven't been on this site for a couple of years. I was just posting a video introduction to the Corvette Owners Club of San Diego when I saw the comments. BTW, that Trailblazer now has 403,000 miles on it.

My traction control lights came on occasionally during cold weather but never the ABS light. Never did it throw a code.. 2 days ago i bled my brakes which hasnt been done in about 4 yrs, and the warning lights haven't came on. On 1/29/22 i drove down to atlanta and back with no warning light coming on, and the weather was cold especially going over the mountain. hmmmm

I'll be trying this tomorrow. My ABS light just came on again today and it has been on intermittently. I has the replace the Exhaust Cam Actuator Solenoid today because of a P0014 code. But I watched a video on here first and was told to pull the plug off first and check for oil. The connector was filled with oil, telling me the internal seals were gone. My next problem was the instrument cluster's lights blinking occasionally and the gauges not working intermittently. Couldn't find that problem, but it hasn't happened again, yet, since I put it back together. May have been a loose connection.

@@eduardocovarrubias7596 No. I cleaned the ground and it didn't help with the ABS light. Next will be to replace the ABS relay. As far as the instrument lights blinking, they are still doing it occasionally. But, when they do it, if I knock on the cluster housing, they stop and the gauges work again. I'm going to be getting the motor replacement kit and tearing that apart when I can afford to.

Nice videos man, if possible can you use a long screwdriver or something to point at what piece you're referring to exactly for us non car heads, it would really help when speaking to a mechanic or attemptingto fix the smaller issues ourselves. Lol....No ill intent meant at all.

open the hatch, there are two phillips head screws holding the whole tail light assembly on. I have found several times the resistance causes the lamps (bulbs) themselves to melt and not make contact. you can buy and change the whole light bar which will sometimes be the cause of the problem with corrosion buildup. And if the tail lights themselves are dulled with age, it doesn't caust too much to buy the whole taillight. good luck.

What codes were throwing for this issue? I have a c0455 code for a steering angle sensor issue. Checking the ground circuit at the sensors harness, I’m showing too high of resistance with ground. Is this the issue you were having also. I will be checking the same ground you are, then checking resistance of that circuit, but looks like I may have an ebcm problem myself.

with a 12v system, the least little resistance can cause problems.
      I was showing no codes

The brake control module was faulty. There is a series of coils to control the hydraulics. It is typical to have one of the solder joints fail. Either you have to find a replacement module (very hard to find in junk yards) or you have to find someone that repairs your old module. Be aware of the number and codes on the existing module it must be replaced with the same module.

Trying to replace my module how do you get to the back to torx bolts, I unclipped the wires to move out of my way but the very little room, I was thinking of taking off the bracket that bolts into the frame and holds the whole abs module

I've came to the conclusion that whomever designed these 02' thru 04' (more so) FailBlazer's around the turn of the century,,outta be hung.!!🙃 lol...they made some improvements with them thru the last few years of this generation (05-09) but they ruined a good looking n good, durable inline 6 engine in the design dept.firstly then by packing electronics in them, which was still not all that great right after 2000,,to the brim.!! My Abs light problem disappeared and hasn't returned over a year later but having other ""electrical" issues now like the blinking/dimming problem n instrument cluster panel wack out mentioned below in this thread. I think the ECM's/ECU's on these are a bit wacky n throw ridiculous coded because there overloaded with crap to keep up with.!!the engine n looks are the only thing good with these Trailblazer's👎I mean com'on, the front axle goes thru the oil pan.??🙃 WTH!?!

I had issues with the accelerator pedal. Went through hell replacing pedals and other parts, finally I talked to a gm mechanic and he said that year had wiring issues. I simply replace the 6 wires to the pedal, soldered them at the ecm but used wirenuts down at the pedal and it's been working since.
