My experience with the ABS lights issue was the following: 1)the speed sensor was dirty I used a 5 mm hex tool to removed the sensor very carefully, clean it, and add some silicon paste around it but do not add into the tip of the sensor. 2) ABS lights persisted so I clean all the remaining speed sensors including the rear ones. The rears ones were soo dirty, clean them up, and add silicone paste around it. 3) ABS lights was gone but I can still feel the ABS acting up when slowing down. Decided to bleed all the calipers since I had no maintenance history of when it was the last time it was done. Two people’s job to bleed it: RR, LR, FR, and FL. 5) ABS issues completely fixed. My issue was simple but rest assured that if the speed sensor is broken inside the wheel hub you will definitely notice it, the vehicle will not drive at all and it would hesitate to pick up speed! Hopefully this helps some one!
Hello jeff I watched your video on the abs senor and I want to say thank you very much, it was extremely helpful, you saved me lots and lots of money on labor, I changed my left driver side and it work, the mechanic would of probably tried to change all 4, thank you thank you
Hey Jeff nice video, I changed the LF abs/wheel speed sensor, and prior to that the speedo was sitting @ 40 mph on the gauge after I changed it now it’s sitting at 70 on the gauge and as before the change the speedo still moves back and forth with acceleration and deceleration normally just the needle is sitting at 70 when it should be at zero
Hey kid you can take the whole assembly by removing the 18 bolts on the knuckle assembly and when placing back you just place back and wiggle it so you can insert the bolts and that’s it ……however do not push the brake pedals at all when the caliper assembly is off!
So I have a question I have a 2005 Chevy trailblazer as well I was told that I could drive it it just doesn’t have reverse on my way home I was driving it the ABS brake light came on and I lost all power to my gears for the transmission when I went to shift does that mean that the speed sensor Went out or does it mean that I need a new transmission any advice would be helpful thanks
When you buy a wheel senor , it's for only one? Or the fronts and back? I forgot to ask you wants the tool name again to loosen the small bolt of the sensor

If you haven't already fixed it, I found a work around on a car repair message board. Just hammer in a torx T30 bit. I got the cheapo 33pc. Security bit set from Harbor freight so I didn't have to mess up anything I cared about.
I had to use an over sized Philips cross bit and an impact driver to get that screw out. It also had no underlay part under it, the other side did-- that 2 holed shim. I got a pair of 6mm by 10mm long stainless hex socket cap screws to replace the old rusty ones.
Figure it out? I'm guessing both wheels since he did mention he might've done the wrong one or something along the lines of that when he mentioned the buzzing noise.
@@noragami_1856 If i remember correctly there is one on each front tire. i had to replace the passenger side. It fixed the code when i reset. no problems
@@keithsmith1061 Thanks, I think my code reader was too dumb to tell the wheel... I figured it out was my Chinese wheel bearings... they had a stack of spacers on one of the sensors which rusted... I just installed new Chinese wheel bearings and it cleared the error, lets hope they last longer than 2 years, they are cheap enough on ebay and not that bad of a job...
How do I know which side to do? I’m pretty sure I hear it on drivers side and I feel it in the pedal, but I’d hate to change it out to find out it’s the passenger side lol
Easy way to check is to let go of your steering wheel while stopping (a stop where your car does the noise and doesn't stop right).. if your wheel turns one way or the other, the opposite way it turns is the side that's malfunctioning...
Idk if you know nothing about the speedometer. It doesnt work the km and the RMS even the gas gauge and oil gauge. Only the battery and the temperature of the car.
All this did was show how to take off the wheels pretty much. Needed to know how to take the little black box apart but of course that wasnt shown lol.
As someone who has also made a [well-received] trailblazer fix video - you did a great job, thanks!
Hiii, need an urgent helpp.

Awesome!!! Glad to help man
just a suggestion when working on a cars front brakes you can turn the driver wheel
Yep, turn the wheel, and I just get my impact to take out those 18mm bolts! Work smarter,,,,

Nice job. Thanks for showing that.
Any videos on the the rear speed sensor . I replaced the wheel sensors same problem
Thx for vid bud have to replace girlfriends driver side
Do you have a video show the rear speed sensor i have a code c0055 on 04 chevy trailblazer ls ext.
Nice job 👌 Very Helpful!!!!! #5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
thanks bro!
I have 2004 Envoy, Will an ABS error likely to occur if the sensor is fastened down with only one of the two hex screws?
Thank you so much for the video

Wonder if I could drift it without the abs sensor? Would be cool.
Just pull the fuse. Disables the ABS/Stabilitrak.
You completely skipped cleaning the hub when in the video you said you’d show
Just so you know wd-40 is a water displacement not a lubricant pb blaster is a lubricant works so much better.

Don't suppose you remember what size Alenn you used for you?
So sorry i do not
how do you do the rear wheels are they similar ?
Mine is riveted in and a 5 sided allen screw, not a hex screw.

Hope it works for me … my tbss stabilitrakx keeps going on when I’m leaving a stop slow
Did it work?
Is the sensor on a 2WD the same as a 4WD? Also, you are going to break that ratchet. Get a breaker bar.
Onvoy?
This is a trail blazer. Envoy is basically the same
Is it on the front passenger only or is there one for each tire, or both front wheels?
Figure it out? I'm guessing both wheels since he did mention he might've done the wrong one or something along the lines of that when he mentioned the buzzing noise.

How did you know which one was bad? did it throw a code indicating which wheel sensor was failing?
Mine threw a code for a certain wheel!

My trailblazers scrolling across the screen “service traction control”, any thoughts?

Hi, can someone please help me out, i want to know if they left and right sensors are 2 different types or can i just buy any ??
