  • Hope you enjoy this little tutorial and art tip video! I wanted to let you know I'm still alive and very busy! I was planning on taking part in #inktober this month, however when starting the first drawing I decided to film the process and make a quick little video instead. In this I show you how I like to mix a variety of mediums and the effects that you can achieve with a little experimentation. It was also a chance to update you all on whats going to be happening with my channel and all the good stuff that is coming VERY SOON! Don't forget to hit SUBSCRIBE and that THUMBS UP! Also, follow me on my social media so you can keep up to date with all my arty endeavours!
    Stay awesome!!
    Chris x

    I purchased one of your prints several months ago. I honestly feel that you are probably the most gracious and thoughtful (not to mention kick-ass and talented) guy out there. The personal note, packaging and stickers were an awesome bonus! As a fellow artist, you make me want to improve! AND to show greater appreciation to my clients and fans as you have!

    Tip for getting of acrylic paint splatters and stains from tables etc ... that liquid glass cleaner. It's my weapon of choice against dried acrylic paint. Just spray it on, let it sit for half a minute and wipe it off :)

    Top Job! You are my biggest inspiration on RUclips at this moment. Tip for not getting in the way of the camera (I had the same problem in my early video's): I film upside down (so the camera is in front of me filming down). afterwards I just flip the image around in my editing program. That way my head is never between my art and the camera ;)

  • @forestdesigns9456
    @forestdesigns9456 6 лет назад

    I normally put the tripod on the table in front of me looking as down as possible (or on the floor if I use a bigger paper and don't have space) and flip the image. I almost never got my head in the frame and I have total liberty. It is easy to setup and You don't have to buy anything new. I also have always connected my camera to the screen so I can see what I am doing and that camera still working. The setup is great, my drawings not so much :D Thank you for posting!

    Hey man! It's so awesome watching your processes and this piece is killer! I've been a sharpie artist for years and work with neons and vivid colors. You've got me hooked on the pro markers and I'm currently loving the brush tip ones Windsor and Newton make. I am searching for archival quality markers similar in vibrancy to the sharpies. Please, if you have any recommendations fill me in. I've drawn several album covers, but they will most likely fade over time because of the nature of the sharpies I use.

      Hey Patrik! I often mix sharpies in with paintings. They are lovely and vivid, tbh I'm not too sure what ways are best to preserve vibrancy. I tend to keep all my art out of direct sunlight. I'm always on the look out for new pens etc so I'll Let you know if I find anything great :)

      Christopher Lovell thank you for the insight man! I do keep my pieces out of direct sunlight for the most part. I'll test the vibrancy of the neons out in natural lighting sometimes but not for an inordinate amount of time. So far I've sealed my finished surfaces with non yellowing UV resistant clear coating spray. I love watching your videos, you're an inspiration man! Cheers! 🤘🤘

    May I say that your art is so awesome and badass! How did you learn to draw/paint like that? You're self-taught right?

    You’re my favorite artist lol not even close. What’s the average amount of hours you spend everyday doing your art?

    • @LovellArt

      Thank you so much Tony!! I draw everyday as I'm always working on some kind of project. I'll spend a max of 18 hours a day, but at least 6 a day :)

      Christopher Lovell hello, I would like to open my own website and sell high quality prints of my art. I been doing a lot of research, and the copyright laws is what's stopping me at the moment. How do you manage to get around them selling prints of copyright characters. Thanks in advance, Any advice would help a lot
