  • Muscle tension in the Hamstrings group can be linked to generalised pain and discomfort in the hamstrings, along with gluteal or back pain. Plus muscle tension can increase the risk of injuries such as muscle strain.
    Clinical Vacuum Dry Cupping is an excellent way to reduce musculoskeletal pain and discomfort, along with increasing range of movement and muscular performance.
    In this short video Dawn Morse, founder of Core Elements Training, demonstrates vacuum Dry Cupping and mobility stretching techniques, using a variation of active movement and soft tissue release.
    These are examples of some of the techniques covered in Core Elements accredited day CPD course in Myofascial Dry Cupping, which is available as a face to face course in Swindon and Liverpool, or via Live Online delivery, or fully Online.

      Hi Hasan,
      We have a Live Online CPD course in Dry Cupping, which is delivered via Zoom.
      But we don’t have a fully online course at the moment (we aim to develop one in the next few months or so).
      Here’s the details of the Live Online and face to face course

    how long should the cup be there? or just after 6/7 reps from the client, it can be taken off?

    • @CoreElementsTraining
      @CoreElementsTraining  Год назад

      Yes take off after about 6 reps, then re-assess tension through palpating and effleurage. Then follow up with another technique or massage.
      Hope this helps

    Are the same cups used for many customers? Or they are one use only?

    • @CoreElementsTraining
      @CoreElementsTraining  Год назад

      These are re-usable cups, so after cleaning and sterilising, they can be used multiple times and on different clients 👍

    How long after a strain can you do this?

    • @CoreElementsTraining
      @CoreElementsTraining  Год назад

      Ideally use cupping after the strain has healed as cupping is like heavy stretching and you don’t want to re-open the stain.
      Healing time depends on grade of the strain, plus health and age of the client.
      Hope this helps

      @@CoreElementsTraining Hi, Can I apply kinesiology tape just after cupping therapy?

    • @CoreElementsTraining
      @CoreElementsTraining  3 года назад

      Hi @@chawlasachin , absolutely.
      Remove any excess medium left over from Dry Cupping, and then apply Kinesiology tape.
      This is an excellent way to continue to lift the tissue after dry cupping to aid continued increase in circulation and reduced pain sensation which is being triggered from muscular tension 👍
