Chris Rock believes people get better with time. The truth is: If you're not willing to put in the hard work to improve the outcome, you will continue down that rabbit hole for a lifetime. Some people learn and come out stronger, but others choose what's familiar. Self care is extremely important if you want to succeed in your personal space and face the world around you with a new found purpose.
As someone who was bullied as a kid (at home and at school), I can say that something like can either make you or break you. I'm glad it didn't break Chris. It made him a legend! And to all you bullies or ex-bullies, remember this: It's all fun and games until YOUR kid comes home crying because he/she got bullied by a kid just like you.
I liked Chris Rock before, but after watching this video, I like him even more. And he handled the Oscars with grace and class.
I don't even really care all that much for his brand of comedy, but I'm sitting here crying because he seems so humble and genuine. Bless him.🌦🌈
Hold him to it, Gayle! Would love to travel with Chris Rock to places he (nor Gayle) have been before. He’s in discovery mode.
Remember when Oprah & Gayle would travel/go on the road?
How great would it be if Chris went with them on a few trips (after COVID)?
@@yankeeladee02 that's a series idea right there
@@christenford3864 - The three of them would have me laughing my head off. Not to mention- always learning something from each of them. Intelligent humor.🤓😁
Yes, Gayle: get your bags ready!
Indeed he is and sounds like he is in a better place in his life.
He looks great!
He looks great. He really looks happy and I'm so happy for him.
just a good person
"No you don't live around here." I just spit my drink. Haha
I always loved when Chris said that forget the guns, Charge $1000.00 per bullet.
I think it was 5k! 🤣🤣🤣🤣. You gotta really contemplate if it’s worth it! Lol.
@@anneb889 it could have been! It’s been a while since I saw that, but I still remember how I reacted to this.
"you better pray I don't get some on lay-away!" x)
Like marriage & divorce: getting married should be cheap; getting divorced should be (fiscally) expensive.
@@dropkickmurphy4114 I suspect getting married should be expensive so you really gotta be sure!
I've loved Chris Rock since his hilarious role as Boney T in _Boomerang_ and love him now even more. To rise above all the bullying he endured during his childhood, and now on national TV, shows what a wonderful man he truly is.
What a beautiful soul.
What a great interview,,,,love how he feels about his bullying people....he has a big heart...
God bless this man ❤️
He’s wisdom and grace in human form. Thanks for a terrific interview.
Chris has an optimistic point of view of life and people. He knows who he is and his place in this world which grounds him. Yes that slap embarrassed him but he took the high road because of his beliefs. He will continue to be rewarded for his stance before his fans and the world ❤️
55, DAM, I thought Chris was only 48-ish!😂😂
I actually thought he was younger than that. Regardless, love this funny, funny guy.
I thought he was 45
I did too.

Thank you for your comment. I agree with you 💯
I like his comedy because there is a lot of truth in it.
True, and the best stand up where I've lived my life based on so far was the 'Never Scared' special 😃
I love Chris Rock. He would be an awesome friend to have. God bless.
I really love and enjoy this man more with each passing year. Cheers, Chris Rock.

Love Chris. I’m glad he’s doing better with therapy.
Chris, you’re an outstanding man. I applaud you.
He's a keeper, Gayle! Hold him to it! You would be laughing most of the time. I've always liked him, and I always will.
Love this guy! 💕
How precious what he said about the people who bullied him....
Chris is honest with himself, hasn't created a fake persona around himself like Will have of the perfect life.
@@TheWrestlingful Agree. Just think he going through a mid life crisis of sort. Chapelle said once, success takes you where your character can't substain you. This is so true of Will
This one of my favorite comedians. Chris Rock is such a smart comedian. He really has matured, and I love it.
Evolved! Keep growing, it looks good to shine as your authentic self.
I love Chris Rock and I'm impressed at how well together he is! Keep Rocking ❤️
