Doesn't tilt for bevel cuts because the upper shroud blocks tilt (there is a modification published to cut off the shroud) . . . and because the saw body is positioned closer to the base, the battery pack will hit your material, forcing the saw base upward (the top handle version bevels no problem because motor rides higher). Not a brushless motor!
Brilliant. I really wanted to know if this has angle adjustments and yours is the only video with this info. Cheers mate I am going to order this right away! 🍻
+Ben B Jr Thanks Ben! Glad you enjoyed some videos, let me know if there is anything else you would like me to film in the future and I'll see what I can do. Take care mate.
+Our Build G'day James! How you been? Mate, to be honest I have a huge list! lol you know, the cool thing is, you're real tradesman and not just a dude testing tools. I would like to see a review/comparison video between Milwaukee's cordless rotary hammers, don't remember the sizes (maybe 26mm and 29mm, not sure). What else, a wet tile saw, Metabo cordless grinder and the Milwaukee M18 cordless single cut shears. Cheers mate, be safe!
Aww, I was hoping to see it in action, no cutting today lol. Bosch of course makes a more compact model of jigsaw thats all fancy with buttons instead of switches, I think its mainly more for working around tight areas, where as this one I think is for the bigger jobs.
+dominic van lievenoogen Hey Dom, yeah I must have stuffed that one up, I'm sure I saw it on the box. I just left on 2 weeks holidays for Vietnam, I might change that title now if you recon that's incorrect. Cheers for the heads up mate!
The edge of the front of the battery looks very close to the work surface, on other barrel jigsaws the battery is up higher or mounted at an angle. It looks like a design fault to me.
+cammy470 Hey Cammy, had to say, Makita has some great tools, and so does Bosch. You couldn't really go wrong with either platform. Hope that helps, take care mate.
Our Build all my tools are Bosch, I recently had a problem with my combi, Bosch sent a courier on Tuesday to the job and delivered it back on Thursday done. Their warranty is second to none. The 36v sds is unbelievable, brilliant tool.
I've been involved in the Home Renovation industry for 35 years and I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of these Bosch cordless and corded products. The fit and finish, ergonomics, and smoothness is like no other tool i've used. It's true what their users say " Once you go Bosch, you never go back" It's a smarter tool, so invest in yourself and pick Bosch.
The reason Bosch took longer to get their brushless tool to market, is because they do more testing, and seeding of the tools, before releasing to the general public. They do this to reduce problems that arise from just throwing tools out there. Like Dewalt, makita, and Milwaukee.
My only criticism with the Bosch platform, is the color of the tool. I don't like the Navy Blue. I wish they went with the baby blue on black and red accents, pictured here: www.ffx.co.uk/tools/product/Bosch-Gsr18Vecfc2-3165140767941-18V-Cordless-Drill-Flexiclick-2-X-4.0Ah-Li-Ion
+Jeff McMillan Good question, I'm sure I saw it written on the box, but I can't check now as I'm sitting in Singapore airport... I'll check on it when I return in a few weeks.

Is the saw actually brushless? I haven't see it listed as brushless anywhere else

nice question
No it isn't, but it's supposedly a great saw nonetheless.
