I love this video and i think your descriptions are so thorough and spot on. Such a beautiful mushroom! I cooked up a handful of caps and i have to say i was really disappointed. The rubbery texture never softens and the flavor is so mild. Any tips for having a better result with cooking?
I didn't include footage of gymnopilus s. In the olive oysterling video but I think I did in the video short " Enoki Doki" . I plan on a short ID video on the genus at least . Thank you for your enthusiasm. Without feedback it's hard to know whether I'm headed in the right direction. May the forest be with you
Just found yesterday in woods around my home west of Richmond, VA. Amazingly beautiful. Thanks for sharing

I add them to crock pot meals and when we make pulled pork we add these , cerioporus, or any species that holds together well.
Great content! I have been watching for about 3 hours on a Saturday night. Thank you very much

I just found some purple gilled laccaria deceivers a few days ago and I think they’re one of my favorites to find! Great video, thanks for posting!
My first one, the caps are normal or magic? I cannot find the info ANYWHERE, I can't make assumptions & they are going bad quick. Thank you!
I don't know if i have seen this one yet?
I will have to pay attention
just stumbled on your channel and this mushroom is what inspired my interest in them! great channel btw
Ive seen the last one yes the gills fold in weird :) i remember that
I always have a military issue steel shaving mirror in my back pocket for seeing the undersides of shrooms without uprooting.
I plan on investing in one . It's a wonderful idea .
