Good stuff. For the record, if you use Aluminium Foil as your spore print back ground, you can gain access to the spores after identification. You just rinse the aluminium foil in distilled water or slap the print directly onto an agar agar petri dish. Blewits can be domesticated in this fashion, but people are generally not enthused about the the taste.

Are Blewits slimy on the cap and stem?
Thought I found a Blewit, but I noticed a cortina under the cap. Turned out to be a Cortinarius purpuacenes.
