It’s pretty cool, I hadn’t seen these either until we did some research on options for a double door. It won’t keep animals in, the screen is in a track at the top and bottom so you can push it out. Overall though, it’s a good option.
My dog tore my screen and I needed to replace it. Cannot reach the distributor to repair it. The lifetime guarantee is no good as I haven't been able to get the only distributor in my region .

My biggest concern is the bottom track. Could a wheelchair go over that (repeatedly) without breaking. Opinion and close up would be helpful. Thanks.
are the screen door handles at the same level as your French door handles/knobs? If so, is there enough clearance to accommodate all the hardware? Can the handle of the screen door be moved vertically if need be? My problem is that the door frame is not as deep as yours.
Just installed it last week. The latch wouldn't stay lock and one screen keeps retracting. No idea what I am doing wrong
Seems like a better option than a floppy magnetic screen.

ha, no, i relocated that vent.
Cut the sill plate to size, too? This isn’t covered within the instructions but must be the case.
I don't think i had to cut mine because it was short enough already and the plastic extenders covered the gap.

One size and can be cut down to fit
What are the gray wxtra pieces on the bottom of the track for
they cover any gaps at the bottom from the sill to the sidewall

start to finish, maybe an hour with double checking measurements.
Is the top of the screen very loose on yours? Because ours is very loose and looks like bugs are gonna find their way in
mine is not loose. Its not super tight but stays in the top channel.
How is it doing 4 months later thinking about buying this exact one
No issues, still working well. We do keep it retracted when not using it.
