Does it need to snap?

Great video. You ruled out the fan and immediately said it was the relay but you did not rule out the control wires that activate the relay. You did not test the relay by putting 12v to the control wires to see if the relay closed. I would have ruled out all connections to the relay first before replacing the relay.

Is there something special/specific about the relay needed? I ask because i tried just a generic multipurpose relay and fan would still not work (it is a new fan and new thermostat installed). Using a jumper wire as you show does turn fan on. Also, i hooked to a scanner and went to fan relay diagnostic...when i toggle on thru scanner the fan turns on, but when i toggle off, i hear/feel relay cick but fan stays running. Any advice is much appreciated

I have a very similar unit GE ADHR35LBQ1 (35 pint) that I just bought through Amazon Resale. I don't think I'll ever buy anything from Amazon Resale again. They haven't responded to me yet. They better make this right. It's a bit noisy, and I can't get it to drain to the hose. Any suggestions? I need it to drain through the hose, for a number of reasons. Your insight appreciated! TY

You should first drill your holes with a small bit so you know where you actually need an anchor!

Hello from Maryland I just watched your video good job. My problem is I bought one of these yellow Amazon spouts for my 5-gallon gas can because my blew off the trailer. When I turn the yellow part it goes three or four threads that just pops and becomes loose again. And it definitely leaks down the front when I tilt it to fill up my riding tractor. Would you guess that the Yellow Cap that I screw onto the gas cap is just the wrong thread for that gas can? It came with one spout one Yellow Cap and three of the little hats that you put on the end of the spout to keep it from spilling, so I don't have any other options to swap out to see if it gets tighter. I'm going to try to add one more o-ring to double the thickness and if that doesn't work I'm probably going to order this one that you have on your video since it comes with different caps with different threads

How many folks out there have come across a slip fitting that doesn't work. I tried 2 today that would only slide in about 1" before they clamped down on the copper. Luckily they both came off easily enough and I was refunded my $. Had to do old school with solder....
